Thank you for sharing. I bought two gnomes a week ago at a flea market, knowing very well that I could make it myself😂. One was a teacup gnome the other one a garden gnome with a small ceramic flowerpot for a hat sitting on a cut tree slice/disk. They also had a bikers gnome with a Harley patch wearing John lennon specs 😎the possibilities are endless with these❤. By the way all the bodies were made from socks filled with rice and shoes were made from polystyrene covered with felt
That is awesome. The only thing about rice filling is that it will age and has the potential to draw bugs no matter the packaging. It was definitely what we all used to fill in the Gnome craze begining. Please send me pictures of you make gnomes. I can share if you like. I may be missing it but can I get the measurements for the materials? I'm looking to do a crafting class with a good at our local senior center and it would help me to have all the material ready for them. I loved your video! It was so easy to follow along to make this adorable gnome! Thank You!
Thank you so much I will absolutely give you I will absolutely give you measurements, the pool noodle is 4". And for the material cut about 6.5 " To make sure you have enough to tuck in the ends of the pool noodle. They are so much fun. I will be creating spring gnomes soon. It has been a rough week as we lost our precious Australian shepherd to Cancer last week so my mind has not been in the right place. More to come soon. Thank you for watching.

Cindy, This is not Ceramic this is porcelain China and Hot glue will stick to it, in the video I also suggest using a heavy duty glue such as e 6000 as well, Thank you and have a Blessed day.

What is the length of the pool noodle? Four inches?
Hi thank you so much for reminding me I was actually going to put that in my description because I discovered afterwards I did not give the measurements the pool noodle is 4 and 1/2 in.

Are we listening to the same video? my volumes are actually on high and the music is actually quite low as this was recorded at 5 am. Thank you for your input. I also do not play music throughout my videos ever, only the intro and exit.
@@Glitzystitcheshome I think maybe it was You Tube or my computer When I put the video back on after you replied it works perfectly Thanks for answering as I wanted to watch the video hearing what you are saying. I tried another of your video's and it was the same way earlier. I will try it now to see if it corrected itself All other videos I was watching during the time I had yours up worked perfectly. It could have been something in You Tube at the time or perhaps a problem in my computer. Who knows with electronics So glad I was wrong about your video
