Ardent fan from Kenya- watched most of your videos. Currently subscribed for almost 2 years. I have benefited by getting enough information to buy the Motion Boom after some disappointments with an HK Onyx 6 (battery life, water resistant...): MB still remains my £4£ great, factoring in price, overall sound quality, Portability, battery, App Support, USB charging, IPX rating...etc). You don't need fanboys because your audience (Fan Base) is more Discerning than most out there.
I bought two motion booms on amazon prime day for £64 each, what a bargain! I really like their clarity! I use your custom eq, which completely transforms them, they sound so much better now. When playing at really low volume levels at night, I put on the ‘hip hop’ eq in iPhone settings. This creates an overall scooped sound giving the impression of more bass and treble, just makes it a little more exciting to listen to.
Your reviews and videos are great and you have good humor, they are the most in depth and informative reviews by far (my go to vids). Keep it up and don't listen to the miserable haters they will always be there but rise above it and carry on.

Great Review, thanks to your reviews, my interest in to the soundcore Family was Born, I started with the Motion Plus, later the motion Boom, and right now, I also have 2 Motion Boom Pluses!!!!, and you are right, something magical happens when you listen to 2 motion boom pluses. Big Fan Of you Alan.
Two Boom Plus don't sounds actually amazing I expected it to sound boomy and harsh but it seems pairing two speakers actually helps sorting out those dips & peaks and improve the overall frequency response. I think reason behind the sound getting better with TWS is that the bass on the Boom Plus is not boomy or boosted in the upper bass frequencies but you have a lot of mid bass which makes up the lack of deep bass with a nice tight punch. Have to say it caught me out of surprise as I've never expected them to sound thus good!! But for me personally because of the deep bass Tribit does I would still prefer it over two Boom Plus.
Just found this channel and couldn't miss the subscription. Amazing content, deep analysis, crazy guy. Definitely my channel to go! I have two motion boom (non plus) that I paid 100 euro in total and I was just wondering if the Stormbox is an actual upgrade, as a bass lover.
depends how you look at it, they overprice on release and then make it look like a bargain with big cuts later on but of course that was always their bottom line.
@@alanrossreviews well...not sure, I mean the Boom 2 are out since how long? 1 month? I got it recently paying about 115 euro, which I consider a nice price. But if you are talking about the launch price then yeah, that I think was way higher, something like 160? The tribit is now listed for that price and appears to be a much better value at that price.

I'm still convinced the 2 original MBs are the POUND FOR POUND CHAMPS (for the $).
Yeah its a hard call but i find myself grabbing the blast over the boom now. I know its a lot more money but still its a new standard for a £200 speaker
Don’t let the negative comments of any individuals get to you as it’s said you can’t please everyone! Personally, I also listen to couple other speaker reviewers and by far you give the most details which at the end of the day is the most important thing you need to know if you are looking to buy, so keep up the great work Alan😀😀😀
Picked up a Stormbox Blast on sale and really liked it. Was telling a friend to get one and the sale was even better so.... Now I have two and they sound great as a stereo pair. (Only negative is the weight) I also have the Motion Boom Plus which is a good speaker too. Just less bass and maybe less refined than the blast. (Great on last camping trip) I've had two of the Motion+ which also sound great in stereo and are way more portable. My favorite truly portable speaker presently is the Tribit Maxsound+. Other older speakers that still hold their own are the Aiwa Exos-9 (stolen) and the Klipsch KMC-3. Really enjoy your reviews, keep 'em coming!
Another great video Alan! Thank you for taking the time to make all the videos! I was fortunate enough to purchase 2 of the Stormbox Blasts when they first came out, and they really are awesome. I hope Tribit can send you another so you can compare them in tws with these other speakers. I also have 2 Motion Booms, and 2 Motion Plus’s, but I really only listen to the Tribit speakers. The others have their place, but they really can’t compare with the pair of Stormbox Blasts. Keep up the great work, I always look forward to watching your videos!
you have some of the recent classics there, and the blast really only let down for me is he mains lead for charging 🙈 but for sure its the new value champ i would say 👍

I think Tribit may have been trying to compete with The JBL Boombox, and although I don’t own a Boombox, it seems like the Stormbox Blast is pretty close from the videos I’ve watched! I love that 2 Blasts are still cheaper than a Boombox, and in TWS, they would probably sound a lot better than one Boombox, even though the bass can’t go quite as deep . I hope Tribit can send you another one!

From the various Original Motion Boom reviews and comparisons out there to date- especially factoring in price, overall sound quality, Portability...etc- the Motion Boom still shines through (there seems to be some magic in those full range drivers). Soundcore should capitalize on this with a Motion Boom 2 rendition, with slight upgrades (Aux in, Flash support, battery, BT version, hardware...etc) but retaining the general price range (

Great video - a lot of information and some surprises too (2xBoom Plus sounds less harsh?). Outside of the Minirigs I think Ultimate Ears haven't released anything new either. The OG Boom does still have a place as I don't see myself replacing my OG Boom anytime soon for its weight and size. W-King D8 weighed about the same as the Boom Plus and that wasn't easy to carry around.

I like this intro :D yea, many people not watch whole video :P but it is normal if video has many information. unfortunately, if you want a speaker with better bass quality, the bigger one will be better (tribit). Although I admit that I would be tempted to buy a second motion boom, because the bass will not be much better than a single speaker, but the purity of the mids and highs is similar to a tribit (this is my impression after watching the movie), apart from the obvious better stereo quality. After all, personally, I would rather buy one tribit than two motion boom plus :) oh forget to add it: I'm your fanboy :D hahaha :D

Minirigs still impressive considering size and verstility! Also UK company which is nice to support. Big $$ though. I carry 1 MR3 when travelling, and a full 2.2 when raving at the beach :)
Hey Alan, theres a subtle bigh pitch ringing sound coming from the tribit at 13:08. I just bought 2 of these but notice that same exact ringing sound in certain songs when the high freuqncies are more muted. Its driving me crazy, i wonder if u have noticed.
It was your videos that convinced me to get many of my speakers. Motion+, motion boom and the mifa wildbox. The frequency graphs help a lot for me to be able to visualize the difference of all your comparison video, giving me an idea of the speaker's performance before my purchase

It has much more quality and clarity! jbl hit A LOT on bb3! trust me! It has power. It's a party box. but finally with a lot of clarity in the highs and mids that JBL always lacked. warm song!!! Alan, for the kind of sound signature you like, you're going to like bb3! we also tested it against an encore. and again it was A LOT of difference in quality. bb3 remember at least a hk studio 7 with more power! I wait for your test

Great review as aways I pretty much gave up with the bluetooth speaker market after getting my JBL Xtreme years back I just felt companies like JBL were taking the piss with their prices and bluetooth speakers in general were alway missing some whether it be the sound or battery time etc...but I have to say the Soundcore Motion Boom Plus looks very promising now it's had it's firmware updates to fix many issues and the price is pretty good...keep up the good work my man
I decided to bite the bullet and get the Blast. Mainly because of your seal of approval. Also it on sale for $170 in the US I’ve purchased 4 Bluetooth speakers in the last 3 years because of you and I’ve never been disappointed. Quite the opposite actually ☺️ Also, I hoping by having this speaker it will give me an excuse to have parties. If you build it they will come, much? 😂
I would love to know how you create your EQ settings, do you use a SPL microphone, play gray noise and adjust accordingly or only use your ear? it would make an interesting video for us audiophiles 🤷♂
calibrated measurement mic to get as flat as possible with sine waves. then pink noise for the same thing in a normal room. then tweaking suing actual tracks. the problem in real life is these active speakers with real time eq will tune different depending on the tracks you play so i have to find a middle ground of accuracy. then tweak to ear for the actual speaker and its characteristics. of course after all this people will still claim im deaf 🙈
I know you can't review big speakers but I really wish you could review the partybox 710. I just received mine. The sound this thing puts out is absurd. At 35% volume with bass boost on 1 and bass on the eq all the way up my whole place sounds like it's about to crumble. These 8 inch woofers are monsters. Way more bass output than my dedicated speedwoofer 10s. I measured bass down to 26hz with extremely rolled off bass down to 23hz. If I play at 50% volume a 35hz test tone whole building shakes and everything inside it. I honestly don't know how JBL does it. The light show is amazing.
@@alanrossreviews ya it might get me evicted lol. I just try not to play it loud late. The walls actually block a decent amount of sound. But I believe 20% or higher volume after 11 would get me in trouble if I have bass maxed. I would say 30% during the day. Maybe 40% in the middle of the day on a weekend. Just have to be smart about it. The good news is I can dial down the bass it becomes more balanced and less earthquakey. So I can go like 30% late at night before walls shake. Maybe 50% on weekends for a short time. I just love the insane amount of bass you can get at such low volume levels. I can't imagine the partybox 1000. Or the 1010 or whatever it's called when it's predisessor comes out. That thing has an actual 12in downfiring sub. 🤣😅
have you tried some high quality bass traps? i have them everywhere and it does help IF they are decent quality absorbing traps rated for deep low bass.
It looks like the Tribit Stormbox Blast has a new firmware update, V2.6. It says “Update some functions and Optimize”. Could you test the firmware and see if there are any differences in sound as I think I will wait to update until it’s tested since we know these companies love to change the sound without telling you… cough cough JBL “bug fixes” LOL. Mr Alan Ross, what do you think of hifi setups with a bookshelf speaker, subwoofer and amp/DAC/receiver/magic box thing for less than $500. Steve Guettenberg and cheapaudioman made vids about setups like that, I wonder how they compare to boomboxes and these amazing Bluetooth speakers? I only ask because your channel is so much more approachable!
well i gave up separates a long time ago which is why i have an interest in Bluetooth portables.So im totally out of touch with value out there, but of course you always pay a premium on these types of speakers so a similar priced separates system is always/should always sound better.

What quality tracks are you listening to? Those are both sbc speakers so low bitrate only. Maybe with ldac and aptx HD you could start getting close but for twice the money.
@@alanrossreviews These days it's TH-cam. I used to listen to FLACs with wired headphones, but no pre-amp. I wonder how much difference a codec makes? I'm beginning to suspect the only time I've heard truly good source music was either live or vinyl on my grandparents old Fischer stereo in college.
2 Motion Booms plus definitely sound great but I just wish I was able to take that Punchy bass and turn it more into the deep bass. Any luck on the Boombox 3 even though the U Boom L makes it sound horrible 🤭

Well I just got over a fever at 39.44 degrees Celsius after traveling but everything is good. And with the mifa wildrod I did peep that but the speakers I liked (Boombox 2,Charge 5) he doesn't dislike em so I'm on everyone nice side for now 😇
Wow, that Stormbox Blast sounded really bad at 100% volume... I agree - for outdoor use, I'd go with two of the Motion Boom Pluses. For indoor, if I had to choose I'd go with the Stormbox Blast, and never play it at 100% volume, LOL.
How does the Tribit Compare to the much loved Harmon Kardon go+play? I love the deep warm bass on the go+play and wondered if the Tribit was along the same lines in terms of sound signature but with Higher max volume? Unfortunately my Go+Play is a few years old now and suffering from the well known battery life issue. Cheers Alan 👍🏼
the blast sounds fuller, warmer and deeper. the go play has a much tighter and harder edged sound. the treble on the blast is smoother. however the go play may suit low level listening more. however the blast is very eq'able and you can get the sound much to your liking. i tuned mine flattish and it sounds great.
Thinking of picking up the tribit if I could find it in stock I think they are right now actually but I'm broke but I guarantee that when I can afford it they'll be outta stock lol. All these speakers are killing my wallet

Maybe it was a bad song example, but the Minirig has no treble texture or sparkle compared to either of the other two options. Bass is very good, though.
@@alanrossreviews Sometimes the AGC on mics or cameras can compress the treble with heavy bass. I had always heard that the minirig was THE STANDARD, so it seemed odd.

@@alanrossreviews OK, Watched the whole thing. I agree with all of your conclusions if the title wasn't a competition for best cheap boombox. Yeah, the Stormbox Blast sounds like AAAAASSSSSSSSS at 100% but, it does hold on to deeper bass and pushes out some thin treble but that's a "boombox" and one is cheaper than two MB+... Maybe it's because my definition of a "boombox" is deepest bass and that V EQ sound. I do feel like the MB+ holds on to a lot more clarity with 0.36 at 100% volume and one on either end of the pool deck is a really nice soundstage! They sound clear and open, I just wish there was a party cast subwoofer or soundcore would come out with a JBL PartyBox style large beast that supports party cast 2.0. Shoot, even when inside if I am going to be doing something in a room for a while I will grab the 2nd MB+ and plop it down on the other side of the room.

I want to try something with awesome bass but on a budget , I'm more of an indoor person so I'm deciding to get either a charge 5 or an HK studio 7 , what's your say about this?
i prefer the studio 6 but both the 6 and 7 are leagues above the charge 5 in terms of deep bass. but you could also try the motion boom which has better deep bass also than charge 5 and is cheaper but also cant match the onyz series for deep bass .
Yeah if your on a budget and want bass for indoor listening the motion boom is really excellent with a custom EQ in my experience. Two is even better and will cost the same as one charge 5 lol
Sadly the motion boom isn't available in my country even in online stores but saw some local resellers selling it for the same price as the charge 5 , speaking of jbl I just saw a brand-new jbl Xtreme just a minute ago for just 80$ Is this still good for the price and bass or should i go for the 160$ studio 7?

well i stopped buying pairs some time back because of the cost. ive not really had a problem with anything apart from the minirigs which are very temperamental. i was looking to get a second flex but never got round to it. they all sound good to me in stereo pairs such as the Maxsound plus, boost, motion plus...all of the ones i have do well. i would like to try a pair of charge 5s sometime too.

A thank you for all of your work on speakers. Based upon your reviews, for acoustic guitar , trumpet , piano etc. which of course are mid-range frequencies rather than "bass heavy" the purchase of paired two speakers of Soundcore Motion + are amazingly "mellow". Since the phone app equalizer really works, the ability to adjust the speakers is quite helpful. I truly appreciate your heading me to the best choice for my music preference. A question for the community if anyone has ever tried to pair two Soundcore Motion+ but added a third stand alone such speaker elsewhere in the room as an extra single, did this add any depth to the sound? Thanks in advance for any advice.
if you like the motion plus i always suggest having a listen to the marshal Stockwell 2 as well. though that doesnt do tws so you would be left using dual audio.

yup the blast is probably the best value outt here right now i would say if weight and a mains lead isnt an issue.

I use your custom eq, which completely transforms them, they sound so much better now.
When playing at really low volume levels at night, I put on the ‘hip hop’ eq in iPhone settings. This creates an overall scooped sound giving the impression of more bass and treble, just makes it a little more exciting to listen to.
at current prices you can get 4 booms for one blast, and yet both are great value 👍

Two Boom Plus don't sounds actually amazing I expected it to sound boomy and harsh but it seems pairing two speakers actually helps sorting out those dips & peaks and improve the overall frequency response. I think reason behind the sound getting better with TWS is that the bass on the Boom Plus is not boomy or boosted in the upper bass frequencies but you have a lot of mid bass which makes up the lack of deep bass with a nice tight punch. Have to say it caught me out of surprise as I've never expected them to sound thus good!! But for me personally because of the deep bass Tribit does I would still prefer it over two Boom Plus.
agreed prefer the tribit but as someone who couldnt listen indoors to the boom plus it totally changed my thoughts on it.

I have two motion boom (non plus) that I paid 100 euro in total and I was just wondering if the Stormbox is an actual upgrade, as a bass lover.
Its louder and more punchy but without the warm character of the boom. Soundcore are crowding their own market.

depends how you look at it, they overprice on release and then make it look like a bargain with big cuts later on but of course that was always their bottom line.

But if you are talking about the launch price then yeah, that I think was way higher, something like 160? The tribit is now listed for that price and appears to be a much better value at that price.

Picked up a Stormbox Blast on sale and really liked it. Was telling a friend to get one and the sale was even better so.... Now I have two and they sound great as a stereo pair. (Only negative is the weight)
I also have the Motion Boom Plus which is a good speaker too. Just less bass and maybe less refined than the blast. (Great on last camping trip)
I've had two of the Motion+ which also sound great in stereo and are way more portable.
My favorite truly portable speaker presently is the Tribit Maxsound+.
Other older speakers that still hold their own are the Aiwa Exos-9 (stolen) and the Klipsch KMC-3.

Another great video Alan! Thank you for taking the time to make all the videos! I was fortunate enough to purchase 2 of the Stormbox Blasts when they first came out, and they really are awesome. I hope Tribit can send you another so you can compare them in tws with these other speakers. I also have 2 Motion Booms, and 2 Motion Plus’s, but I really only listen to the Tribit speakers. The others have their place, but they really can’t compare with the pair of Stormbox Blasts.

you have some of the recent classics there, and the blast really only let down for me is he mains lead for charging 🙈 but for sure its the new value champ i would say 👍

I think Tribit may have been trying to compete with The JBL Boombox, and although I don’t own a Boombox, it seems like the Stormbox Blast is pretty close from the videos I’ve watched! I love that 2 Blasts are still cheaper than a Boombox, and in TWS, they would probably sound a lot better than one Boombox, even though the bass can’t go quite as deep . I hope Tribit can send you another one!

From the various Original Motion Boom reviews and comparisons out there to date- especially factoring in price, overall sound quality, Portability...etc- the Motion Boom still shines through (there seems to be some magic in those full range drivers).
Soundcore should capitalize on this with a Motion Boom 2 rendition, with slight upgrades (Aux in, Flash support, battery, BT version, hardware...etc) but retaining the general price range (
well i guess they thought they just needed to make it bigger 🤣 but they overlooked the real magic of the og boom 🤐
The Blast is just gonna be very hard to beat for the price. My favorite speaker right now. Overall is the best speaker. Alan knows, trust me.

Great video - a lot of information and some surprises too (2xBoom Plus sounds less harsh?). Outside of the Minirigs I think Ultimate Ears haven't released anything new either. The OG Boom does still have a place as I don't see myself replacing my OG Boom anytime soon for its weight and size. W-King D8 weighed about the same as the Boom Plus and that wasn't easy to carry around.
for sure we are getting less and less decent advances in the bluetooth speaker world.

I like this intro :D yea, many people not watch whole video :P but it is normal if video has many information. unfortunately, if you want a speaker with better bass quality, the bigger one will be better (tribit). Although I admit that I would be tempted to buy a second motion boom, because the bass will not be much better than a single speaker, but the purity of the mids and highs is similar to a tribit (this is my impression after watching the movie), apart from the obvious better stereo quality. After all, personally, I would rather buy one tribit than two motion boom plus :) oh forget to add it: I'm your fanboy :D hahaha :D

Hey Alan, theres a subtle bigh pitch ringing sound coming from the tribit at 13:08. I just bought 2 of these but notice that same exact ringing sound in certain songs when the high freuqncies are more muted. Its driving me crazy, i wonder if u have noticed.

I have a tip for you! this week a friend in brazil acquired a bombox 3! and we compared it with a bombox 2! the difference in highs and mids is very big! It has much more quality and clarity! jbl hit A LOT on bb3! trust me! It has power. It's a party box. but finally with a lot of clarity in the highs and mids that JBL always lacked. warm song!!! Alan, for the kind of sound signature you like, you're going to like bb3! we also tested it against an encore. and again it was A LOT of difference in quality. bb3 remember at least a hk studio 7 with more power! I wait for your test

Great review as aways I pretty much gave up with the bluetooth speaker market after getting my JBL Xtreme years back I just felt companies like JBL were taking the piss with their prices and bluetooth speakers in general were alway missing some whether it be the sound or battery time etc...but I have to say the Soundcore Motion Boom Plus looks very promising now it's had it's firmware updates to fix many issues and the price is pretty good...keep up the good work my man

I would love to know how you create your EQ settings, do you use a SPL microphone, play gray noise and adjust accordingly or only use your ear? it would make an interesting video for us audiophiles 🤷♂
calibrated measurement mic to get as flat as possible with sine waves. then pink noise for the same thing in a normal room. then tweaking suing actual tracks. the problem in real life is these active speakers with real time eq will tune different depending on the tracks you play so i have to find a middle ground of accuracy. then tweak to ear for the actual speaker and its characteristics. of course after all this people will still claim im deaf 🙈

I know you can't review big speakers but I really wish you could review the partybox 710. I just received mine. The sound this thing puts out is absurd. At 35% volume with bass boost on 1 and bass on the eq all the way up my whole place sounds like it's about to crumble. These 8 inch woofers are monsters. Way more bass output than my dedicated speedwoofer 10s. I measured bass down to 26hz with extremely rolled off bass down to 23hz. If I play at 50% volume a 35hz test tone whole building shakes and everything inside it. I honestly don't know how JBL does it. The light show is amazing.

@@alanrossreviews ya it might get me evicted lol. I just try not to play it loud late. The walls actually block a decent amount of sound. But I believe 20% or higher volume after 11 would get me in trouble if I have bass maxed. I would say 30% during the day. Maybe 40% in the middle of the day on a weekend. Just have to be smart about it. The good news is I can dial down the bass it becomes more balanced and less earthquakey. So I can go like 30% late at night before walls shake. Maybe 50% on weekends for a short time.
I just love the insane amount of bass you can get at such low volume levels. I can't imagine the partybox 1000. Or the 1010 or whatever it's called when it's predisessor comes out. That thing has an actual 12in downfiring sub. 🤣😅
have you tried some high quality bass traps? i have them everywhere and it does help IF they are decent quality absorbing traps rated for deep low bass.

Look for some that publish the nrc rating along with them and that the absorbtion is 50 hz and lower

Could you test the firmware and see if there are any differences in sound as I think I will wait to update until it’s tested since we know these companies love to change the sound without telling you… cough cough JBL “bug fixes” LOL. well i gave up separates a long time ago which is why i have an interest in Bluetooth portables.So im totally out of touch with value out there, but of course you always pay a premium on these types of speakers so a similar priced separates system is always/should always sound better.

What quality tracks are you listening to? Those are both sbc speakers so low bitrate only. Maybe with ldac and aptx HD you could start getting close but for twice the money.

I'm beginning to suspect the only time I've heard truly good source music was either live or vinyl on my grandparents old Fischer stereo in college.
Oh yeah still nobody can answer why vinyl sounds so good when technically its inferior. But there is a magic to the sound that's a mystery 👌👌
2 Motion Booms plus definitely sound great but I just wish I was able to take that Punchy bass and turn it more into the deep bass. Any luck on the Boombox 3 even though the U Boom L makes it sound horrible 🤭

How does the Tribit Compare to the much loved Harmon Kardon go+play? I love the deep warm bass on the go+play and wondered if the Tribit was along the same lines in terms of sound signature but with Higher max volume? Unfortunately my Go+Play is a few years old now and suffering from the well known battery life issue. Cheers Alan 👍🏼
the blast sounds fuller, warmer and deeper. the go play has a much tighter and harder edged sound. the treble on the blast is smoother. however the go play may suit low level listening more. however the blast is very eq'able and you can get the sound much to your liking. i tuned mine flattish and it sounds great.

Maybe it was a bad song example, but the Minirig has no treble texture or sparkle compared to either of the other two options. Bass is very good, though.
in reality it does have a treble lift, not sure why this didnt come through.
@@alanrossreviews Sometimes the AGC on mics or cameras can compress the treble with heavy bass. I had always heard that the minirig was THE STANDARD, so it seemed odd.

@@alanrossreviews OK, Watched the whole thing. I agree with all of your conclusions if the title wasn't a competition for best cheap boombox. Yeah, the Stormbox Blast sounds like AAAAASSSSSSSSS at 100% but, it does hold on to deeper bass and pushes out some thin treble but that's a "boombox" and one is cheaper than two MB+...
Maybe it's because my definition of a "boombox" is deepest bass and that V EQ sound. I do feel like the MB+ holds on to a lot more clarity with 0.36 at 100% volume and one on either end of the pool deck is a really nice soundstage! They sound clear and open, I just wish there was a party cast subwoofer or soundcore would come out with a JBL PartyBox style large beast that supports party cast 2.0.
Shoot, even when inside if I am going to be doing something in a room for a while I will grab the 2nd MB+ and plop it down on the other side of the room.

Hey alan , i need your opinion for something 😸 i bought the motion plus and two tribit micro 2 thanks to your recommendations and they're amazing as expected. I want to try something with awesome bass but on a budget , I'm more of an indoor person so I'm deciding to get either a charge 5 or an HK studio 7 , what's your say about this?
i prefer the studio 6 but both the 6 and 7 are leagues above the charge 5 in terms of deep bass. but you could also try the motion boom which has better deep bass also than charge 5 and is cheaper but also cant match the onyz series for deep bass .
Yeah if your on a budget and want bass for indoor listening the motion boom is really excellent with a custom EQ in my experience. Two is even better and will cost the same as one charge 5 lol
Sadly the motion boom isn't available in my country even in online stores but saw some local resellers selling it for the same price as the charge 5 , speaking of jbl I just saw a brand-new jbl Xtreme just a minute ago for just 80$

well i stopped buying pairs some time back because of the cost. ive not really had a problem with anything apart from the minirigs which are very temperamental. i was looking to get a second flex but never got round to it. they all sound good to me in stereo pairs such as the Maxsound plus, boost, motion plus...all of the ones i have do well. i would like to try a pair of charge 5s sometime too.

A thank you for all of your work on speakers. Based upon your reviews, for acoustic guitar , trumpet , piano etc. which of course are mid-range frequencies rather than "bass heavy" the purchase of paired two speakers of Soundcore Motion + are amazingly "mellow". Since the phone app equalizer really works, the ability to adjust the speakers is quite helpful. I truly appreciate your heading me to the best choice for my music preference. A question for the community if anyone has ever tried to pair two Soundcore Motion+ but added a third stand alone such speaker elsewhere in the room as an extra single, did this add any depth to the sound? Thanks in advance for any advice.
if you like the motion plus i always suggest having a listen to the marshal Stockwell 2 as well. though that doesnt do tws so you would be left using dual audio.

I bough the motion boom and even with custom EQ it's too harsh/tiresome for me indoors. Would a motion boom plus without extra bass be better or should I try a motion plus for indoors?
well i hesitate to sat the boom plus if you find the OG boom tiring. maybe something like the audio pro c3?

@@Fattony6666 yes its a really sweet sounding speaker, just has a tad too much echo and not enough volume but its a great speaker.

Have you tried this Tribit Stormbox blast drivers-up floating? Can you confirm your does not roll to fionish with the drivers down in the water?
Mine plays drivers up, i have had others say theres does roll over. 😱 I read every comment 😛
