Hello! I have a gun like this and I really liked the Geco softpoint but lately the ammo quality has deteriorated, so I tried the Gecco express (168gr) which I also like. My hunting friend uses the Norma Tipstrike (170gr) he shoots it very well too.
Hi, i found the Geco 170gr softpoint are really good in terms of accuracy; what is also a good choice maybe better than Geco are the Hornady superformance with gmx 165gr bullet, they are really really good in this rifle. Bytheway this rifle seems to like long bullets. So everything that is longer than 27,5 millimeters goes good in the Bergara extreme hunter, naturally there are some exceptions but the trend it’s this.
@@HunterLand82 i’m not sure but i think Geco plus are hollowpoint not softpoint, but they still should work good. Or you can try with Geco star leadfree that i heard they do well with Bergara, or Sako Hammerhead 180gr; but theese two cartridge i’ve never used before, i only read some other hunters that they tested them… If you need than a good paper cartridge i reccommend GGG with sierra 168gr or Remington with the same bullet; it will shoot “hole in hole”
