If you run stuff from Waking the Dragons and Grand Championship it works better with Fiend Megacyber, Fiber Jar, Blue Flame Swordsman (Susu should really take Salamandra out of his deck since he doesn't run Joey's one Fire monster), and Maxiumum Six for easier monsters to get out.

Tbh, they just always build horrible decks for him. Between the three main characters, Joey has the least brick deck by far because it's full of so many level 4 and lower monsters. For some reason he always seems to over-spell and under-monster the deck. And then he chooses odd spell cards to put in. Yes, the monsters would still be weaker than average, but it wouldn't be this bad.
Fun fact- this was the only duel in the entire anime where Raigeki was played. Although it does need to be said that apparently Raigeki and the burn damage cards Joey played here were all banned in the Battle City tournament.
That duel was absolutely insane beyond belief. The moves from Jen in the first 2 battles were calculated and brutal but the turn around from Susu in the last one was “chefs kiss”. Punishment could be to wear a fairy princess costume (go as full on with it as you want) and character duel would need to be Luna vs Leo (Yu-Gi-Oh 5ds)
Dark Palafin has a base attack of 2900 and his ability gives him 500 atk for each dragon that is not in the hand or deck so it having 3400 attack tracks.
That duel was insane for Jen 😂 the double dark paladin was nuts! I think a cool duel for the future would be Yami Yugi against Yugi Moto sort of like a ancestor battle kinda thing which would be great!

These are a few ideas that came to me recently- a Zane vs. Kaiba match, but its Zane running a modern Cyberdark deck and Kaiba using his deck from Darkside of Dimensions. Another idea that may be interesting is a Jaden Mirror match. One of you run a version of his deck mostly based on the anime, while the other runs a deck based on the manga. Granted, from what I remember hearing, the manga version would probably be better, because I hear that's where stuff like Stratos and the Mask Heros comes from, but I dropped the game back in like 2005 and I'm mostly going off of hearsay. My other proposal is a bit of a twist on the character duels you guys are already doing- Modern rematches. Basically, instead of making a deck as anime accurate as possible, you make a version of the characters' deck that includes any and all support that has come out since. Say for example a Mai deck that runs purely Harpie Ladies, including XYZ, Syncro, or Link monsters or purely modern Amazons versus a Syrius using either a modern Cyber Dragon deck, or whatever the devil "-roid" decks are now a days. Maybe an Atticus versus Kaiba duel. One with their most recent version of each deck and a part 2 featuring a "modern" match with a modern Blue-eyes deck versus a modern Red-eyes deck.
Toward the end of Duelist Kingdom, Bakura and Pegasus had themselves a strange shadow game with lasers, for some reason? We never got to see the two actually duel each other though. How about a Bakura vs Pegasus duel? :)
Jen so unlocked the power of the pharaoh in this duel. Now a character duel that would be fun to see is Rafael vs Atem. Now for a punishment could do is the next duel one person has to start with 1/2 the life points.

Since Joey has Dragons, and the Dark Paladin gains ATK for Dragons in either player's graveyard, you got a boost for Baby Dragon, and any other dragons in the graveyard.

Nutrient Z is actually a Joey card. He uses it against Marik and against Zigfried von Schroeder during the kaiba land arc. Zigfried used Ride of the Valkyries and attacked Joey and Nutrient Z came in clutch.
The card randomizer sometimes is a lil extra lmfao but this was tons of fun to watch. I actually made a Yugi and Kaiba deck for me and my girlfriend cause im getting her into yugioh as well 😂 keep making this awesome content guys! 🙌

A massive character battle would be Atem in his final match with Yugi versus Yusei in the final episodes of his arc. Always came down to insane plays at the end where both protagonists drew out their best cards when they needed it. Oh and a great punishment would have to be the loser has to play Yugi in an upcoming battle but with a wig or headpiece that captures the iconic protagonist's hair.🤣🤣🤣

You're right about the other 2 though, Possessed Joey was the only character to ever use Raigeki (In Battle City That, Hinotama, and Black Meteor were banned so only Marik used them in that one duel) and funnily enough Joey is the only character in OG Yu-Gi-Oh! to run Bottomless trap hole, in his Virtual World deck, he just never got to activate it.
I want to see: Adrian Gecko vs Professor Viper - the duel that got away! We almost had this in GX, until Adrian decided to start throwing hands instead lol. I actually mix OG cards with my meta in my personal decks and surprisingly ppl really overlook how efficient OG cards can be when used as support.
