i don't know who the soloist is, but who ever she is, she has an amazing voice. she could be the next pop sensation of meghalaya. after all, there are many well known singers who started out on the church scene in america, like the late aritha franclin, or the late whitney huston. i have a feeling that many members of the choir or any other choir in northeast india who is active on the church scene will surely become future pop stars in they're own right. i can see the potential in this kids from the start. and since music is a huge part of church worship, many kids grow up eventualy becoming quite good singers, there by having the musical experience imparted on to them already. i would love for a platform to be created in a state like meghalaya, where english, Khasi, Garo, and Jaintia pop can flurish equally and become mainstream, there by creating an entertainment scene for the local tallent, and showing to the world that a state like meghalaya can produce great pop singers like singers from korea or any other asian country currently dominating the asian pop scene. just like countries such as the philippines or indonesia, meghalaya too needs to show the world that they can also be capable of coming out with good singers who can also be good on the asian pop scene. if i ever make a name for myself on the indian music scene both in film and non film, i would love to make this thing happen in terms of the pop scene in meghalaya. i feel like a language like Khasi can be very good for pop music, especially those romantic love balads that were a rage in the 1980 or 1990s in countries such as the philippines. if they could do it, why can't meghalaya? after all, they have the potential to do it, there is youtube, etc. so why not? i would love to give the pop scene of meghalaya the drive it needs, and i would be glad to do it. well, i guess i have rambled on for to long. all the best from an iranian woman in Sweden: Nicki Rafiei.
@@bankerhujon1106 off course i have heard of the shillong chamber choir. interestingly pauline is neil nonkinryh's elder sister, so yeah, its like a family thing. my favourite member of the scc has to be ibarisha lyngdoh. thanks so much for replying to my comment. stay safe!
Beautifully arranged. Brilliant stuff. Take a bow.👍👍👍 Can sense a streak of the New York Voices. Check them out. They're from a different planet. Darmon Meader, Peter Eldridge, Kim Nazarian and Lauren Kinhan, comprise the group. I assure you you'll be swept off your feet God Bless once again. More power to You. Let the magic flow.
The first time I heard this choir was when they sang Someday at Christmas. Such beautiful, angelic voices.
