During the summer people go to a Helen for tubing. My family comes up every year for a vacation just to tube. 2 1/2 hour ride. When it’s not winter, I suggest when you’re at brasstown bald take the van up and walk down. ( you didn’t include you can see North Carolina when at the top). I live in Blairsville and that’s steep if you’re not used to it.
It’s not very busy in the mountains durning the winter. Lots of places close early.
We have the Appalachian Trail. On top of Blood Mtn, is the only place on the trail from Georgia to Maine that goes thru a building ( underpass).
Anna ruby is the easiest because it’s paved. Not the best though. Next time try Helton creek falls. That’s one of my favourites. If you have a small car, you might want to come back when you have a bigger/taller vehicle. Most of the road is dirt. I’ve worn my bathing suit and you can get in the water and let the falling water hit you. My husband has fished there as well.
Yes, go slow. Don’t rely on GPS or cell service in all areas. Take pictures of your path before you go.

Great video. What day of the week did you guys go? What time of the day is the best time to go?
We went on a Saturday. Twice. We went there on a Saturday, the quietest time to go is the fall closer to winter. However, the shuttle doesn't run during the winter.

did you guys see any recreational areas in helen GA other than the village ie: nightclubs, amc movie theaters, shopping malls, big retail stores, macys, walmart, bars etc or are these amenities outside of the city. is there a nightlife in downtown.
No the night life wasn’t much. Then again we did go in March so it’s probably downtime then. There was a really nice Mexican restaurant though LOL

We agree. It’s an area we would possibly move to. The city life is getting tiresome for us too.
Why you stopped vologing
Hey sorry we're just now getting back to you. We stopped vlogging for a few reasons. We didn't have the money to continue traveling. Summer had an ankle injury a few years back and we recently had a baby. Eventually we'll start back. Vlogging, we just got to get everything in order. We put out a video last week if you want to check it out!
