  • In this episode, we will go to the Temple Mount. We will begin our journey from the Zion Gate and walk on the walls of Jerusalem to the Temple Mount. On the Temple mount, we will see stones from the First Temple Period, go to the closest place to the Holy of Holies, see the Golden Gate, the Al-Aqsa Mosque and see the location of the Antonia Fortress.

      I think you should be careful. The Mosque of Prophet Solomon [G-d send salutations on him] (that you call temple mount) to us Muslims is closer to the throne of G-d than any point on earth. We consider Masjid al Aqsa and this mount as SACRED, HALLOW ground. So do not confuse of mislead people if someone by mistake left an unworthy item on it.

      After seeing the Eastern Gate from within the Temple Mount, I realised the special significance of the psalmist’s inspired words:
      Lift up your heads, O ye gates;
      and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors;
      and the King of glory shall come in.
      Who is this King of glory?
      The LORD strong and mighty,
      the LORD mighty in battle.
      Lift up your heads, O ye gates;
      even lift them up, ye everlasting doors;
      and the King of glory shall come in.
      Who is this King of glory?

    I was there in August. Got onto the temple mount with our small tour group. Women were forced to wear hijab even though they were modestly dressed. The "authorities" (ahem) at the mount were oppressive. Sending "observers" out to follow small groups. I was very disturbed to see how unkept the eastern side of the mount was. Piles of debris and building materials. It could be kept in beatiful condition, but it is not. Despite being a 'holy site" to the muslims, it looks like they could care less about it. Of course, when walking by the Dome, they make it very prominant that there are boys kicking soccer balls. (Soccer...born out of the Aztec/Mayan 'sport' where teams would kick a ball through a small ring, with the victors getting to sacrifice a young girl to their 'god'). It seems like it is meant to be an afront to Christians and Jews that know this site to be far more than a soccer field. It felt like I was being taunted. But God is not mocked...he will reclaim what is his. Maranatha.

    • @Angelzaharah
      @Angelzaharah ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, this is very sad, and indicative of certain cultures who "know not what they do...." It is sadly very ignorant and blasphemous and rebellious for certain self appointed groups to covet the Lord's temple in this way, ostentatiously blocking entrance to pious law abiding humans, whilst they disrespectfully scoff and look down on the pilgrims who have every right to be there, whilst they do not if that is the way they are going to "guard" and keep God's place. Rubbish and trash and people walking around God's holy places like this?..... My God, I am absolutely appalled at what has happened....

The Jews started a rebellion that went from 66-71 CE with the last rebel stand at Masada in 73CE. The Romans destroyed the 2nd Temple (on the present day Temple Mount) in 70CE.
      Then they, followed by the Islamic conquest of the region, the Crusades, Ottomans and others in between kept us from returning. Jews never stopped longing for Jerusalem. Every year the Passover seder ends with the hope, "Next Year in Jerusalem". Saw your tour of the holy temple mount for the first time. I just can't fathom the enormous dimensions of the temple built by Solomon, its just awe inspiring, with all the entrances and steps and pathways. Sadly, the holiest of places is out of bounds for the Christian believers and I wish that just as the moslems have brought their writ on Hagia Sophia in Turkey, Israel should reclaim the temple mount in its entirety and bring back its holiness for the believers across the globe. A hope from an Indian faithful, longing to see it through.

    My goodness!
    The Temple Mount is a very tense place to visit!
    It was a fascinating experience but I kept thinking that 'something ' could happen at any moment.
    I had this feeling of constant INDIGNATION that they have no comprehension of the enormity of their arrogance...
    The measurements of Ezekiel's temple are bigger than the current Temple Mount area so it is likely that nothing will be left at that time and all will be made new.
    Praise the Lord!
    Maranatha!!!!!! ❤️
    Ps: thank you for all that you do for us.
    Peace be on Jerusalem.

For nearly seven decades of my life, I've spoken with respect and deference to everyone even those I will never meet. Greetings From Texas - This was wonderfully explained, and outlined at the end with your map. Amazing something that is held in such high regard is used for garbage. This is the reflection of the minds of the people, who themselves, have no real regard for anything - but for show, war, power, and profit. Truly, these people MUST clean up that area and recommitt back to the Lord where it belongs.
    Happy Holidays to you and yours. Looking for to your next 3D. Love and take care in the Name of Jesus.

    Wonderful to see this video tour. This is the first time I have seen the temple mount area.
    Yes, it is upsetting to see the "garbage" on the temple mount. But on the other hand, depending on what kind of garbage is found there, there may be a silver lining. The last time they threw out the garbage over the wall many years ago, it turns out that many artifacts were found. The archeologists are still sifting through it. A suggested idea is to offer to "collect and remove" the garbage for them at no cost to them. (Something the archeologists and their students can do). There may be extremely valuable artifacts from the temple era just mixed within the pile. So always remember to look at this from more than one angle. This could be another major opportunity.
