I’ve always had faith in God and love for all he has given us . Since I was a small child I would go to him prayer when I felt distressed or grateful . As an adult , living on my own, surviving through the misery of the death of my mother and grandmother, I noticed and felt a heavy presence wherever I lived. I would always try to shake it off , ignore it the best I could , or leave. This persisted for years but was slowly escalating to the point that things were being moved during the day or I would be bothered in my bed at night. I would still just get up and turn on the lights , take my dog out like I wasn’t bothered . Finally though , the presence was coming at me in my bedroom one evening like a dark cloud with such invisible ferocity. I feared for my life and prayed so hard to God to get this evil spirit away from me , it meant to cause me harm. In a second , that evil spirit was gone and I haven’t felt fear like that since. Keep a relationship with God and have faith he will always watch over you .
I just felt the Holy Spirit move through me with this recount of this story. I got to experience in a dream what it feels like for a demon trying to take control of my body and soul. It felt like the most unclean feeling; like stabbing ice picks all over my skin, immense pain. So painful, it began to make me buckle over and scream..In an instant, I knew what to say. I said so calmly, "With the power and authority of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I cast you to the pit. Come out, NOOOOOW!" As I screamed the last word, it left my body like a sonic boom, even saw a shock wave from my center expanding away from me. All I can say is that I never want to feel that way ever again. But, I am thankful to My Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for letting me experience what others may go through. 🙏✝️❤️
Muslim view: When we pray to God(Almighty) for protection (Christians call him God the Father), Angels are sent to protect you. Angels are very powerful compared to Demons (followers of Satan). On seeing the Angels, Demons run away. So when ever a Human prays to God and follows God's wishes and commands as mentioned in the holy book Quran and Gospels of Mohammad/Gospels of Jesus/Gospels of Moses, Demons will prevent you from doing it as they want the human to go to Hell and not Heaven.
