Infact I was given as an assignment by my physiology teacher to look on the electrocardiogram,, but since the top most genious lecturer has elaborated it in this simple way,,,my fellows I promise I will present this to my teacher!!!
Your videos are literally a life-saver for school. I'll read a concept, not understand it, and then watch your videos to really GET something. I don't have to memorize nearly as much now because your videos help me actually understand the concepts. THANK YOU!!
You are a genius; you are so good at what you do. You do not assume knowledge. You present all your topics in extremely clear and logical manner. I have learned a lot from you and I would like to say a BIG Thank you to you. Please do not stop making videos. You are making a big impact in many lives. God bless you mightily.
Thank you so much for making all of these videos! You make everything so easy to understand and learn and its really helping me through my first semester of dental school :)
Better late than never, had a vague concept of how heart works, your video living up to Ak lectures motto, hepled me in grasping the CVS topic in short time, without any financial cost or loss of energy. Thanks fr saving from the academic redtapism .
AK Lecture Dude, I have literally stopped going to all my biology classes because your lectures are way more productive. Thanks bro, and best wishes to you in medical school.
Perfect lecture and explanation, I only have one correction :The atrioventricular valves are actually open before the atria start contracting, and 80 % of the blood flows passively through pressure differences in the ventricles.they only start contracting in the end so that they can „squeeze“ the rest 20% of the blood into the ventricles. Thanks for uploading greetings
I just love ur videos u have helped me so much that I can't even explain.!! Plz continue making these lecture videos....!! Waiting for the notification from your channel!! Thank you sir🙏
p and QRS are positive cause increase in voltage takes place during depolarization of atria and ventricles but T-wave is positive as well because "the last cells to depolarize in the ventricles are the first to repolarize."
Aren't the two AV valves already open, and the ventricles fill 70% by passive means then the atrial sístole pumps the remainder. Just thought I would throw that in there
I don't understand. I normally associate depolarization with an increase of voltage. But here there are points when it repolorizes but the voltage increases. For instance the T and U waves. Why does the voltage increase for repolorization?
I don't think depolarization is an increase in voltage, rather, I think it is a decrease in voltage. voltage is the potential difference between two charged 'things'. so when a cell membrane depolarizes, it approaches 0 mV (no potential difference), so voltage is decreasing, not increasing. except when it hyperpolarizes, it not only approaches 0 mV but goes beyond to the positive side, still increasing the potential difference after it had decreased (gotten to 0 mV). i hope i made sense.
Why does repolarization of the ventricles(which is basically the decrease in membrane potential) causes an upward(positive) T wave ? Shouldn't it produce a downwardly(more negative) wave ?
Guys can anyone explain to me what is happening in the heart strictly between the blue R and the green Q segment. Is that atrial repolarization? Or is it something that needs to happen in order to see ventricular depolarization? Or both? Lol...this question is killing me plz help!

you are simply a LEGEND!
u are perfect ... please don't stop making video
RAP MONSTER NOT DANCE MONSTER agreeeeeee!!!!
Absolutely Genius!.

I think you are better at explaining things than my professor! you are so wonderful!!!

U are absolutely a genius
Simply AMAZING!!!
Thank you so much for making all of these videos! You make everything so easy to understand and learn and its really helping me through my first semester of dental school :)
Thank you from Malaysia !
you deserve much more views. thank you very much
Soo great to understand and making my way into the clinic much easier :D

I LOVE THIS CHANNEL SO MUCH
Thank you for your videos and lectures it has really helped. From Nigeria.
AK Lecture Dude, I have literally stopped going to all my biology classes because your lectures are way more productive. Thanks bro, and best wishes to you in medical school.
How many hours do you put into making these lectures.Daily?
Excellent and well explained video. No stopping SIR !!!!!!!!

You're really amazing! Thank you!
Oh I didn't know that you cover lots of subjects. Your videos had made me improve a lot, thank you.
your awesome thank you for your clear yet amazing work

Thank you sir🙏
thanks you are best teacher
A Genius!
awesome explanation of ecg
You Are AWESOME !!!
THANK YOU!
Why is P and QRS a depolarisation while T and U are repolarisation waves although all produce a positive deflection.
p and QRS are positive cause increase in voltage takes place during depolarization of atria and ventricles but T-wave is positive as well because "the last cells to depolarize in the ventricles are the first to repolarize."
I love you, sir!!!
Aren't the two AV valves already open, and the ventricles fill 70% by passive means then the atrial sístole pumps the remainder. Just thought I would throw that in there
If I remember correctly the closure of the valve is not producing the sound...I'll check my notes tomorrow.
Good video!
What a great lecture... Thank you so much :)
great explain, but i have a question about hyperkalemia and hypercalcemia can affect rate of the heart or no
Thank you very much
I don't understand. I normally associate depolarization with an increase of voltage. But here there are points when it repolorizes but the voltage increases. For instance the T and U waves. Why does the voltage increase for repolorization?
the T is in repolarization representing the ventricles after contraction,,,compared to the QRS ...they have a charge but its reduced.....I think!! lol

amazing
thank you for this video
Excellent feedback unparrel on ecg thanks dr sir 21/02/2022
The best one
thank u sir!!
thanks teacher
love it
thanks alot
Thank sir
so do the atrioventricular valves open at ventricular repolirization
THANKS ALOT !

2 electrodes on each arms and only one on the left leg. These are the augmented electrodes.
aVR, aVL, AVF
love it
thanks alot
