Did you ever try setting your date 2 weeks ahead on the phone, then changing it back when you check the lock status? I'm curious if that will work and cut the wait time. I think I did that with my original Mi Mix when I rooted it like 5 years ago.

Hello, thanks for the good guide. I tried to use Mi unlocker but after 99% it gives me an error that i need to unlock my device. And the problem is that my Redmi 7A, has miui 12.5 on it and after 10 seconds of use the screen freezes and i only can restart it. I tried to use factory reset, and option wipe all data, but it wont go past 4%. I have had my account on phone signed, and almost for 3 years. Is there a way to make a breakthrough, so i can use my phone? (dm me, ill pay for advice :) )
Is the notification issue resolved with the Global ROM? Also, if in case we're not happy with the performance of the global (laggy, bugs, etc) Can we still have it reverted back to China ROM?
Yes, you will not have any notification issue with the global ROM, and you can always revert back to the Chinese ROM should you wish to. Check my other video

You need to make sure you add as phone number on the account to allow xiaomi to send u a text to confirm it

yea u can use it but dont sign out of your mi account or press on the link account to device or else it will restart the timer.

can you instal third part launcher and use gesture at the same time WITH this GLOBAL ROM ?
I use Nova launcher on mine. If you can't choose a different launcher, download the Niagara launcher. When you open it, it'll ask you if you want to set it as default. Click sure. Then you'll get a choice of which launcher you want to use as default. My Nubia Z40 pro wouldn't let me select another launcher, either. I used the Niagara to select the default launcher.
I don't know why but my phone can't get unlocked... It shows me an error message in chinese that my ohone has been locked and due to searching something blabla error it can't be unlocked.
The message is "The phone has been locked by account **** by searching the phone and cannot be unlocked"
Seems to me that your device was previously unlocked by someone else then locked. It has been already linked with a Mi account
