The garden is overflowing with fresh tomatoes so I am learning something new and canning pasta sauce. Spending time in the garden is relaxing and rewarding work.
I have been canning for years. We have a garden and preserve it by canning. It’s not hard but it is work. The electric pressure canner is wonderful for a newbie canner. ❤lifeatthenutthouse

It was really simple... I just dissolved 1/3 cup of sugar and 2 tablespoons of salt with 2 cups vinegar and 2 cups of water.
