Okay i understand what you have said, thank you so much. I have a question, i write my articles using Word and if i have to follow what you say after editing, should i have to creat another words document to copy the editing once again.... Please relpy
Hi there. Sure, you might find that useful so that you have a before and after. I often write on my notes app or Google docs, then I might paste it into Hemingway before I paste it into Wordpress. Whatever workflow works for you.
Hemingway App wouldn't recognize an adverb if one bit it on the nose. It looks for "ly" endings, many of which words are adjectives, and occasionally even nouns. It misses many -- most, in fact -- adverbs that do not end in "ly". It makes mistakes in other areas, as well, but adverb/adjective confusion is its greatest fault.
I have used this and diliberately made spelling mistakes and it doesn't correct most of them. Not really good enough and the spelling mistakes it recognises has no suggestion as how to spell it correctly.
When you enter actual Ernest Hemingway text into this app, it consistently gives it a poor grade. Was Mr. Hemingway a poor writer? No. This is a flawed app. It may have some use, but don't take its grades too seriously.

how do I move from grade 10 with just 1 hard sentence and 2 weakners to a grade 8 on hemmingapp
It’s becoming frustrating for real. I have to submit a grade 8 article 🤦🏽♀️😩

grammarly or hemingway?
Both for sure. They serve different purposes. Grammarly for the grammar and Hemingway tidied up the creative
Nice!
Thanks dude! Love Hemingway :-)

It's now $19 for the application download.
$19 for the desktop version but still free online
I'm curious to know why it went from Grade 6 to Grade 5 after making the edits lol. Any thoughts?
