In my previous video, I detailed the 'how-to', i.e., process of getting to Mae Kampong, from Chiang Mai City, using public transport.
In this video, I will show you more details and scenary of the beautiful Mae Kampong village, as I walked along its main road to reach the highest cafe in its residential area. The cafe is called Rabeing View Cafe.

Looks beautiful. Hoping to go to Chiang Mai next year and will do a day trip to Mae Kampong. How long was the walk up to the cafe?

Hi there! I took about 20 minutes to walk up to Rabeing Cafe from the Mae Kampong car park. I think there are Song Teaws (taxis) available for hire if you don’t want to walk. But I still think walking was more fun, especially if you go during the winter season when the weather is cooler. I hope you make a trip to Mae Kampong when you get to travel to Chiang Mai in 2024.
