Johnny got his gun (1971) is arguably the most hopeless, depressing, darkest film ever made. It's a movie you won't be able to suffer through a second viewing without wanting to slit both your wrists in a bathtub. It's about a WWI soldier who after he's hit by a mortar shell, is left with no arms or legs. No face, no throat, no eyes, no ears and completely unidentifiable. He can't see, hear, smell, speak or move. He's just a chunk of meat that continues to live and is thought to be as "unthinking and uncaring as the dead until the day he joins them" Only he can think and feel and is completely aware of what has happened and is happening to him, he just has no means of communicating that to other people, and people have no means of communicating with him. The movie is from his perspective and switches from his dreams to his daydreams to his conscious mind, only he looses the ability to tell the difference between those states. The most emotionally brutal scene occurs after a rat crawls into his bed and starts to nibble at his flesh before the nurse taking care of him discovers it and chases it away. He starts having nightmares of it eating him alive. In one of his dreams he's having a conversation with Jesus while Jesus is busy working wood in his Father's workshop. He tells Jesus about the rat and his inability to tell the difference between, the real rat and the rat he dreams about. Jesus starts giving him advice like brushing it away, or screaming, or opening his eyes ... but Johnny answers every bit of advice with what makes that impossible. Jesus starts to look ashen with horror at the state Johnny describes himself as being. Finally Jesus says that sometimes people are so completely beyond saving that their misery is contagious and he would like it if Johnny would leave him now. He starts pushing Johnny out the door as Johnny begs him to answer one question. "Am I really here with you right now? Are you even real?" And Jesus responds with "I'm as real as every other dream that never came true." Yeah, it's brutal shit like that. Not only has God abandoned him but his dream of God has too. Metallica wrote the song based on the book the movie is based on, and then bought the rights to the movie to edit it into the song and music video.
Has no one pointed out that the drums are following the Morse code during the break? Metallica's "One" is deeply rooted in the story in more than just lyrics.
I truly dont understand a lot of the hate Metallica gets. They perfected their music. They've reinvented themselves. They've modified. They've had success and failure, they've had loss and gained so much. They've changed the game and experimented. And they are still killing it.
Im glad u got to experience metallica i have been listening to them for over 20 years now. Its great to see that someone who likes a diffrent style can be open minded and have the feeling i did in 1992 when when i was 12
I just discovered your channel tonight brother and I just wanted to let you know that your Metallica videos lift my spirits. I've been a fan for 20 years and your reactions to their songs remind me of what it was like for myself when I went album to album discovering their work. Good job man. Genuine emotion. I like that shit.
If you are wondering, the video clips are from a movie called Johnny Got His Gun. It's about a WWI soldier that awakens in a hospital bed after being caught in the blast of an exploding landmine. He gradually realizes that he has lost his arms, legs, and all of his face (including his eyes, ears, teeth, and tongue), but that his mind functions perfectly, leaving him a prisoner in his own body. He is literally living in a state of darkness. It's a movie worth watching.
This song is based off a movie, which is based off a book, which is based off a true story. The movie and book are called "johnny got his gun" great film, awesome book. And metallica did a great job at turning it into a song. LOVE IT!!!
The patriotic American it ain't based on a true story. It is just another anti-war piece from Vietnam I think. A fabrication. I find it difficult to watch because I imagine myself in that position, but that never happened in real life.
We had a juke box on the second level in cafeteria at school. Only seniors were allowed to be on second level. This song was played every day never gets old.
Sad is too lightly to put what is going on actually... A man who lost eye sight, arms, legs, hearing...he can only communicate with his head banging by using morse code. It's a story about a guy who stepped on a mine in WW1. lets say truthfully how this story is, and sad is seriously too lightly, too naive. It's very horrible or terrifying, it's a horror of reality.
Imagine laying there, not talking seeing, hearing or anything. Just stuck forever with your thoughts til you die. The video is a brief recap of the movie, where he remembers he knows Morse code and starts talking to people. It reminds me kinda of when I came out of a coma after I had a car accident back in '88, when I couldn't walk or talk for awhile, but I was in touch with the world, after a few weeks, it took that long after being in a coma until I slowly became more aware, but couldn't walk or talk for a few months. I was a Metallica fan then. They premiered the video for ONE I think it was at Midnight on New Year's, or something like that, I watched it from my hospital bed. My favorite album and song. Every song on that album is awesome.
The video portion of this is from the movie "Johnny got his gun". One of the members of the band saw this movie and wrote the song. This was Metallica's very first video, and was a huge success. However many of their hardcore underground fan base called them sellouts for going commercial and not remaining a true, in their opinions, underground metal band.
@@jeremysteckman6234 I appreciate all their service. I wasn't trying to come off as challenging. Just songs effective by some experience. I love a lot of music and songs but this and Five Finger Death Punch: Wrong side of heaven, hit home.
@@phoenixashes1026 understandable I'm not a soldier but I seen plenty of good ones and have been kept on the straight and narrow because of them so I guess my mannerism and values came from a Marine I thank God for that
in his own way he has the same reactions I did when I discovered these songs. I love it when he takes on favorites of mine for the first time and how his reactions take me back to my first time hearing them. It's like reliving the opening of your best surprise Christmas present.
I'm sure someone has pointed this out by now but the song is based on the book/movie Johnny Got His Gun. The clips are from the movie which was interspersed with the boys playing in that dank-ass room. They wanted to go as basic as possible and have it be about the music but they still got lambasted for selling out, as this was their first music video.
Yes ! As far as I remember the story, Lars Ulrich saw this movie late night on tv, and was amazed ; he searched and bought the rights, and they made it this song
Kirk Hammett is one of the best guitarists of all time and his high-school friend, Les Claypool, is one of the best Bassists of all time. Check out his band, Primus. Very weird but amazing skills.
A MUST!!!!!!!! You need to see Metallica performing live in Moscow in 1991 the song “enter sandman”. Over 500,000 people in the crowd right after the Cold War. Insane!!!!
Tallyca Hamulhetru Nope, Metallica has far better shit in their 4 first albums. One, the song in this video, is a great example of it. Facts are facts, not about tastes. Sorry.
I’m sure 1 million people have already commented this, but to answer your question the guitarist is Kirk Hammett. I have a Kirk Hammett guitar, it’s my favorite. That shit is So sweet
If you want to learn guitar jump on it my friend. The longer you wait the harder it’ll be. My brother is 13 years younger than me. My father, grandmother, grandfather, my fathers aunt, I even have cousin who is a big name in Christian rock/gospel and myself are all musicians. We all started as kids. So my brother always wanted to learn but never did. There were plenty in the family that could’ve taught him. My dad plays bass and Guitar. I can play guitar, bass, mandolin, ukulele and drums. Anyway my brother never took any interest in it. Fast forward to now and he’s 31 years old and just bought his first guitar. He’s learned a little but it’s tough for him. My suggestion is if you wanna learn go for it. It’s an absolute blast. I say all the time that nothing reaches across all boundaries, sex, race, age, languages, countries etc like music. Nothing but music, in my opinion, can take you back in time. A song can come on from your high school years, or even to a date you were on a special woman, and immediately it takes you back to your high school times. That’s playing it on radio. When you can play the music you love....man it just puts you in the year. It puts you in the band when you can play along. Go for it man. You’ll be glad you did
BTW Welcome to the Family KTF!! ;-) If you like music with decent drums and guitar work, check out AX7's "Buried Alive" or "The Stage". The Stage video also has that "Movie" feel to it, IMHO anyway. Look forward to your reaction to either or both. Peace...
You are one of my absolute fav reaction channels. So genuine. You can see it in your smile, and now I'm smiling, so I guess that's how this is supposed to work.
Welcome to the Metallifamily! So many to choose from but here's some: - If you want another song similar in structure (starting slow/quiet and ending fast): Fade to Black. - Arguably their greatest song: Master of Puppets. - Straight up thrash: Fight Fire With Fire. - Slower tempo with rhythm and still hits hard: Harvester of Sorrow. - Most well known song: Enter Sandman. - The best of their recent songs (2016): Spit Out the Bone and Halo on Fire. - To see how good they can be live: any songs from Seattle 1989.
I'm posting this before I watch this. I am a veteran and I have had problems with PTSD. This song speaks to me and I think that Metallica deserves the utmost respect for this song.
watching you watch this brings me back to my Jr High school years back when this first came out. my excitement for your excitement is a wonderful feeling, and it's almost like hearing it again for the first time. I rewound that cassette more times than i can count. great reaction! subscribed!
Those movie clips are from the movie "Johnny Got His Gun". Soldier in World War 1 gets his arms, legs and part of his face blown off and he cannot speak or see. I think he was rendered deaf as well. I haven't seen it in years. Really sad but powerful anti-war movie that I would recommend to anyone.
Father: You're gonna make the world safe for democracy! Joe: What is democracy? Father: Well it's never bright clear on myself. Like any other kind government it's got something to do with young men killing each other I believe.
If you enjoyed that, next best song is 'Master of Puppets'. Dude on lead guitar is Kirk Hammett (although James Hetfield, lead vocal and rhythm guitar, will often do solos , too).
COEXISTential also fun fact (kinda) kirk has something with his knuckles where he starts to BLEED from playing the guitar! He LITERALLY shreds his fuckin' hands playing!!!

@@j-gam6666 you might be the first person I've met that knows that Ron was the original bassist. I believe it was before kill em all, mainly for early demos. Might have been the bassist for "metal up your ass"
Metallica has changed a ton over the years, but you should give all the different flavours a try. Start with the old stuff, follow their career. Orion is my favorite song. Just let that shit chill in the background.
I did watch that movie Johnny got his gun. I found it at Blockbuster I couldn't believe it and it even had tribute to Metallica on the cover of the VHS as before DVDs were around. The patient was doing the voice sound overs of his thoughts. When they brought him in to the hospital they thought he was brain dead but he was conscious as you and I are and when the nurse was unwrapping his bandages he was realizing that he didn't have any more arms and legs and you could hear his thoughts because he was talking with the voice over of saying how am I going to work without any arms and how am I going to walk without my arms and I can't marry my girlfriend she's not going to want me like this. And the only time he was happy was when he was dreaming because he dreamed that he was a full man and Donald Sutherland played God in the movie. Yeah I searched for this movie when this video came out because I want to watch the whole thing. Metallica before they even knew the book or the movie was around they thought about writing a song about someone who couldn't hear who couldn't see who couldn't talk and couldn't walk and then they came across the book and then the movie and they watched the movie and that inspired them to write the song the way they did and put the movie in the video they did. It's one of my favorite songs and I'm glad you're enjoying it. I think you need to react to Fuel by Metallica next.
Matthew Ford not to be hating because it's cool to see anyone listening to Metallica but does anyone think this is just 100% coincidence that lost in Vegas listened to this same exact song not long ago? Like I said it's cool to see but I'm gonna assume he has heard this AND seen a reaction to it already...
Look up the video where Metallica played a show at the South Pole. They flew down there and played for about fifty scientists and technicians from all over the world on a solar-powered sound system outside. Without the lights and stage and all the concert bullshit, it is just them and their skills. Made me a fan
Man I simply loved reliving this video with you bro, in 1990 I was 15 yrs old now came from a poor upbringing so I was in a music shop in England and I stole this video and I didn't even know who metallica was. I must of watched that video over 400 times. Guilty for the steal n I'm sorry but it blew my mind so much just like you. Keep the home fire burning.. Yeah Yeah 😉😎
Nice to know other people had to do the same as me to get to listening to this classic track. Keep on rocking in a free world.. lol i hope metallica made some money after all the the videos n tapes stolen.. but i did buy everything thete after i even got an UNKLE Remix of St Anger on Vinyl a few years back. Love it all. Oh yeah 😎
Michael Geoghegan - U.S. here- i borrowed my brother-in-law's cassette and never returned it, haha. The first time I ever really cared about music was when I heard this song. I've been watching these reaction videos for the last 5 hours just because I love seeing people react the same way I did when I first heard songs like this
So glad you got to experience Metallica for the first time with One. That song got me into Metallica when I was 11 years old and changed my life. Now you know how I felt back then. It was pure magic and watching your reaction was awesome! Glad you loved it!
My brother I’m so glad you loved this song. Watching you cringe while the guitar went Yam was the best I was laughing from joy of seeing some one els love this band lol
I get chills listening to this song it’s so good. It’s filled with so many emotions and themes - fathers and sons, patriotism, war, suffering, sadness, anger, fear, aggression, loneliness - and they make you feel it when they play.
Dude you killed I had a blast watching you enjoy one of the world's greatest rock band of all time I produce hip hop and love it to the core But Metallica is my #1 love You made me relive the 1st time I heard them Thanks
Lead Guitar: Kirk Hammett. The fast solo in this song is one of his best if not the best, but he has played plenty of good ones over the years. Singer and Rhythm Guitar: James Hetfield. Drummer: Lars Ulrich. Bass Guitar: Jason Newsted. Fans will know, but for non fans, or new fans, unfortunately the bass guitar is turned so low in the mix it is hardly audible. This was the case in the whole '...And Justice for All' album. Jason was 'the new guy' who replaced Cliff Burton after his tragic death in a road accident during their tour. The guys were having a lot of trouble mourning his death while still having to tour and record, and there was some nastiness and anger, sometimes focused on Jason.
Broadsie69 good deal I'll look for the reaction to the song when I get out of work I'll get some more for you I'll give you a whole bunch of stuff to react to
omg yes! i got to see that tour. way back in the day. the entire album..VIVID! lol i just listened to it today too.weird stood right at the feet of Vernon Reid shredding holy shit was amazing
Try Welcome Home Sanitarium. The intro is fantastic. I don’t know why, but I was happy you liked One. Metallica is my all time favorite Group and I’ve seen them live quite a few times over the years. I’m 56 now and still crankin on full volume. They play as fast and as hard as any band out there and all are in sync. So many great songs with a lot going on. I didn’t read the comments, going to do that now. I’m sure you heard another song or two but Sanitarium is just a great tune as is For Whom the Bell Tolls
NJA 3 oh yeah I seen them live before and I loved it. They Put on a awesome show. Oh everytime I hear Welcome Home Sanatorium that always makes me want to learn how to play a gutiar. 🎸
If you are looking for just instrumentals listen to "Orion" or "Fade to Black" from them, still gives me chills to hear them. Their second smash hit from back then was called "Enter Sandman" so you could try that one. "Master of Puppets" will probably end up being the most requested song for you to listen to though,. It's truly one of their best songs imo. Enjoy this road you have chosen. This was a huge part of the soundtrack to my childhood.
beautyyy bybri That’s great. Yeah my dad went to Woodstock so i grew up listening to the doors and Led Zeppelin etc. Metallica was my life all through the late 80s early 90s. I wish i knew girls like you into that music growing up. They all liked new kids on the block and stuff. Yuck!
LEARN HOW TO PLAY GUITAR BRO I LEARNED A COUPLE MONTHS AGO ITS THE BEST DECISION YOU CAN MAKE!! PICK IT UP AND WATCH TH-cam TUTORIALS! IT GETS EASIER EVERYDAY!!
This was how I discovered Metallica. Back when video jukebox was a thing. My dad got hooked and that was the first Compact Disc he ever bought. Sent me on a terrific path of different genres.
Dam dude i was here from when you first started these reactions and it's crazy to see how much your channel has grown much love, this song is really good
This fun watching people experience these songs for the first time. The first time I heard Kirk play, it blew my mind just the same. I was only 12 at the time. 👍🏻
Please never say sorry for bringing it, those sections deserve a second listen. I grew up on Metallica and Tool and love your videos. Have a look at Karnivool they have a close Tool feel, songs like - Life Like, Alpha Omega, Set Fire To The Hive are a couple of my favourites. Peace from Australia.
I remember the first time I heard this song was playing guitar hero and going through like 4 minutes of a chil and doable song, then all of the sudden the hardcore part comes in and it’s like wtfffff
Music in the 80s and 90 was just harder. I am not saying better, but harder, more substantive, etc. Its just a sign of the times, music now is equivalent to glamour rock of the 80s and early 90s but Rap and Grunge and Metallica killed that sh!t. Music is cyclic, it will get hard again. I grew up on Hip Hop, but Metallica, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, those rock groups were dope. Props for getting turned on to this.
This music was awesome when it was at its peak never will we see this awesome side of music again people are just to stupid to realize the fun it was to pick up a guitar and be talented now people would just want to talk into a microphone and make beats with machines never will I respect computer generated beats
Once you discover MetallicA, there is no turning back.
Once you go black you don't go back. But seriously, anything from the black album or before, they started to suck big time after that.

He gradually realizes that he has lost his arms, legs, and all of his face (including his eyes, ears, teeth, and tongue), but that his mind functions perfectly, leaving him a prisoner in his own body. He is literally living in a state of darkness. It's a movie worth watching.
....and a book worth reading.
@@Arcalargo That too!
I think EVERYONE has heard Metallica before, somewhere, at some point, you just didn't know what you were hearing.
This song is based off a movie, which is based off a book, which is based off a true story.
The movie and book are called "johnny got his gun" great film, awesome book. And
metallica did a great job at turning it into a song. LOVE IT!!!
And that book title is most likly inspired by the old irish anti war song "Johnny I hardly knew ya":
Book by Dalton Trumbo
The patriotic American + Thanx 4 that info I didn't know that.. That's cool see u learn something new everyday. Thanx Angain..👍
I remember reading the book about 30 years ago, saw the film also. The song is so incredibly sad, I usually skip it when it comes up in the playlist.
Best Metallica song is Master of puppets. One of the greatest metal songs of ALL TIME. Lead guitarist is Kirk Hammett.
Rick Restivo Nah, one fade to black and welcome home sanitarium is better
One of the greatest? You mean is the greatest!
+Joshua Hardy holy wars by megadeth is the greatest. kirk hammet fucking sucks
painkiller619 undertaker shutup you silly little clown...... Megadeth don't need you either!
IDIOT!
No it's Disposable Heroes
It's actually a sad song, but f****** awesome
I'm not a crier. That said I can sob hearing this song.
Scott LeRoy came here to find or make this comment. 👍🏼
One by Metallica is my favorite all-time song ever ! thanks for playing it!
Mine is harvester of sorrow

Metallica - Fade To Black...Guitarists Are James Hetfield And Kirk Hammet...
Right Fade to Black would blow his minddddddd......
Orion
Pulling teeth
Everybody favors Puppets, I've always favored Lightning myself.. either way Cliff style Metallication rocked!
Zee Mo Oh, Fade to Black is another one of their slow, classical, beautiful intro to raging metal songs and back. Great song Zee.
What is this??? Reactions to metal??? I'm hooked. You got a sub from me. I appreciate the positivity.
DeMarcus Cousins looking ass
@@undertakerblaise256 yeah dude... im about to say that...hahahahaha
in his own way he has the same reactions I did when I discovered these songs.
Rumor has it, Metallica bought the rights for it to use it for the video
Yes !
As far as I remember the story, Lars Ulrich saw this movie late night on tv, and was amazed ; he searched and bought the rights, and they made it this song
The video was made before the rights were bought. They didn't want to continue paying royalties each time the video was played.
I like that movie
Oh man! I love your reactions! I wish I could sit down and go down a metal rabbit hole with you.
+
I love watching people experience awesomeness for the first time. Such a great video. Thanks for letting us share that experience with you
Kirk Hammett is one of the best guitarists of all time and his high-school friend, Les Claypool, is one of the best Bassists of all time. Check out his band, Primus. Very weird but amazing skills.
Pugiron ehhh mustaine is leagues better
Les auditioned for Metallica but was deemed too good :-)
My Name Is Mud by Primus is soooo hard.. Love it.
Pugiron I just learned something.Thanx.
Kirk Hammett is da sh,,, and Lars (Drummer) was the lil dweeb who sued Napster...
A MUST!!!!!!!! You need to see Metallica performing live in Moscow in 1991 the song “enter sandman”. Over 500,000 people in the crowd right after the Cold War. Insane!!!!
Enter Sandman is meh. They have muuuuch better songs. Black album is where Metallica starts dropping by a lot to this days.
MetalHammer To you. It would be his first time reacting to it, not his 200th. ;)
You're so fuckin lucky
Metallica “one” is a kick ass song it 30 yrs old lol
I was 12 I’m 43 now
Hmu lol I’ll give u some good metal songs 2 review look up suicidal tendencies “ you can’t bring me down”
If you want to learn guitar jump on it my friend.
You’ll be glad you did
If you wanna see the movie in the video it's called "Johnny Got his Gun".
BTW Welcome to the Family KTF!! ;-)
If you like music with decent drums and guitar work, check out AX7's "Buried Alive" or "The Stage". The Stage video also has that "Movie" feel to it, IMHO anyway.
Look forward to your reaction to either or both.
Peace...
as a side note, Metallica bought the rights to the film so they wouldn't have to play royalties when the video played.
It's the saddest movie ever made. It's unbearable. Not a bad film, just excruciatingly painful to anyone with empathy.
Isn't the movie/book the actual inspiration for the song?
You are one of my absolute fav reaction channels. So genuine. You can see it in your smile, and now I'm smiling, so I guess that's how this is supposed to work.
Welcome to the Metallifamily! So many to choose from but here's some:
- If you want another song similar in structure (starting slow/quiet and ending fast): Fade to Black.
Fade to black for sure or welcome home...
Pantera - Domination (Live In Moscow)
Thank me later...
Dusty Digits I second this
I third this
Dusty Digits he said metallica. Can't you hear?
I fourth this
That break down is the craziest shit I’ve ever seen
You weren't ready for that bro
I'm posting this before I watch this. I am a veteran and I have had problems with PTSD. This song speaks to me and I think that Metallica deserves the utmost respect for this song.
love watching a mind get blown. lol. great reaction
watching you watch this brings me back to my Jr High school years back when this first came out. my excitement for your excitement is a wonderful feeling, and it's almost like hearing it again for the first time. I rewound that cassette more times than i can count. great reaction! subscribed!
Sad Dad same here. Brings back so many memories
Yeah it's a really good film film with a an extreme statement
I remember checking it out myself a few years back definitely a heavy film with a great message about the horrors of war
Father: You're gonna make the world safe for democracy!
Joe: What is democracy?
Father: Well it's never bright clear on myself. Like any other kind government it's got something to do with young men killing each other I believe.
The original novel written by Dalton Trumbo is also worth a read.
The book is even better (ofcourse). But the movie is also good.
Love how your open minded bro. I subbed.
I agree with COEXISTential... MoP is dope...
Yeah Master of Puppets. But you gotta do the drinking game where you take drink every time he says ‘Master’
Hammett and his esp is just amazing
COEXISTential one of the greatest
Also its dope to see you branching out to different genres man. Love your channel man been here for a minute.

METALLICA originally was:
James HETFIELD-vocals/ guitar
Dave Mustaine - guitar
Cliff Burton(RIP) bass
Kirk Hammit - guitar & solo god
Lars Ulrich - drums
Cliff died in an accident while on tour in Sweden. Mustaine was kicked out due to issues(he created Megadeath)
Mid 80s - 2008ishRoster:
James Hetfield
Kirk Hammit
Jason Newsted
Lars Ulrich
Current roster:
James Hetfield
Kirk Hammit
Rob Trujillo
Lars Ulrich
Check out thier documentary called Some Kind of Monster that'll keep ya jamming METALLICA for life... For me, on to your next reaction vid!
Wikkid One I believe it was 87-02 with Newstead and the original Metallica consisted of James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Lloyd Grant and Ron McGovney
The film footage, was from a real movie. It is from "Johnny got his gun".
Cult of Personality by Living Colour.

Yes!!! 🤘🤘🤘
So much respect man for you and this channel for touching on different genres of music and having a open mind. Absolutely dope
Love how REAL your reaction is unlike alot of fake ones out there. Subbed👍
Matthew Ford anyways you should check out YYZ by Rush lol
Look up the video where Metallica played a show at the South Pole. They flew down there and played for about fifty scientists and technicians from all over the world on a solar-powered sound system outside. Without the lights and stage and all the concert bullshit, it is just them and their skills. Made me a fan
Still one of best heavy metal songs EVER written. Long live Metallica!!
~love it when hip hop folks listen to metal and go "Dammn ! that was dope" . . . yeah man it is ! metal rules !!
Welcome to Metallica family
Kirk hammett on lead guitar. James Hetfield on vocals and guitar.
Lars Ulrich on drums.
Jason Newsted on bass.

Ha ha ha.. me and my friend stole the same video at the San Francisco tower records..
Michael Geoghegan my back story is similar but in the states and found it on cassette. Changed my life
Nice to know other people had to do the same as me to get to listening to this classic track.
I've been watching these reaction videos for the last 5 hours just because I love seeing people react the same way I did when I first heard songs like this
same here !

Master of Puppets is a classic by Metallica.
So glad you got to experience Metallica for the first time with One. That song got me into Metallica when I was 11 years old and changed my life. Now you know how I felt back then. It was pure magic and watching your reaction was awesome! Glad you loved it!
Glad you liked them. Their fans have a love hate relationship with them. Saying they got soft. Not me tho, fan for life!

Dylan Salcedo my thoughts exactly!
I get chills listening to this song it’s so good. It’s filled with so many emotions and themes - fathers and sons, patriotism, war, suffering, sadness, anger, fear, aggression, loneliness - and they make you feel it when they play.

Master Of Puppets, but you really can't go wrong with any of their music
JDubz89_98 St. Anger and Lulu would like you to hold their beer.
Sanity Is Radical yeah you got that, besides those you really can't go wrong lol
Sanity Is Radical Lulu is not there own work it was Lou Reeds they only provided the instrumentation
Bro you were glued to that screen lol good pick
The guys were having a lot of trouble mourning his death while still having to tour and record, and there was some nastiness and anger, sometimes focused on Jason.
the one you have to check out is Living Colour- Cult of Personality. you will not be disappointed.
Going to listen to that right now lol
Broadsie69 good deal I'll look for the reaction to the song when I get out of work I'll get some more for you I'll give you a whole bunch of stuff to react to

@@rebeccaann5364 Yeah, learn how to play guitar, soccer mom.

Scott LeRoy bruh.... Fade to Black is not an instrumental....
Awesome stuff bro. Love seeing people appreciate this music. I’ve been listening to Metallica since the beginning. Yeah I’m old...

Metallica-Master of Puppets!

I remember the first time I heard this song was playing guitar hero and going through like 4 minutes of a chil and doable song, then all of the sudden the hardcore part comes in and it’s like wtfffff
Ahahahaha... Guitar Hero... that's pathetic.
Not true. Have you heard Gojira? Hard af
We have the same taste lol aic is awesome
It depends on what you mean by harder
This music was awesome when it was at its peak never will we see this awesome side of music again people are just to stupid to realize the fun it was to pick up a guitar and be talented now people would just want to talk into a microphone and make beats with machines never will I respect computer generated beats
Nicolas Dane They singer blew his vocal cords, just like Meatloaf. That’s why things got softer after Master of Puppets.
Master of puppets & battery
