that's actually me! hahah. but the AKAs taught us the stroll and said we could do the pinkies because our sign can be difficult to throw up that fast, haha.
I'm a black Phi Mu and I think it's great they are doing stuff together! I think that race has nothing to do with who joins what organization, I feel you should join a Greek organization based on the values that reflect you. The only issue I have with this video is with the Phi Mu's throwing the AKA's symbols in the strolls. Those moves are symbolic and have special meaning for AKA's not for Phi Mu's. You would never in a million years see Deltas and AKA's strolling together and only throwing AKA signs, it's just disrespectful. And I don't feel exceptions should be made just because one is NPC and the other Divine 9. And if you haven't yet seen, there are plenty of Phi Mu chapters stepping and taking names nowadays!
Mr.Omega Mr. Omega shut the hell up there is nothing wrong with this at all....stop blaming whites for you experiences. there are alot of blacks in white fraternities and sororities. and the same goes for whites in NPHC's its a damn shame for black people to tear others down. instead of encouraging her for going against the status quo you want to bash her instead, have you ever thought about maybe there weren't any black sororities on her campus that was even worth pledging. or there all full of shit especially the ones on my campus. I CAN CARE LESS ABOUT COLOR I WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE. if you value what the sorority is founded upon then why not let that qualifying member join. alot of black don't go to predominantly white Greek due to being scared of rejection. when they are accepting with open arms. my fraternity is a music fraternity started by whites but do you see that stopping blacks from joining phi mu alpha and kappa kappa psi......think before you speak asshole
Don't you dare put Dr. Martin Luther King in this when you going against everything that he has taught and what his legacy upholds. You are going against everything that MLK has preached. Your the idiot sitting here acting like a jackass hating against whites. Your right, I am going to say all white people are not bad because THERE NOT. Yes you still have white people with a chip on there shoulder just like you have blacks with the same problem and your one of them. My parents taught me not to see color. You don't know what the hell your talking about. I am a African American Student at an Prodominatly White school that accepted me based on my merits not skin color. I was accepted into my fraternity based on what I can bring to the table not by my skin color. It's ignorant black people like you that sets the black movement back 50 years because your ass still believes in segregation and whites are the devil. When that is no longer the case. You dumb fuck.
Naaaawwww. This is cute, but race absolutely matters. You're more likely to be able to relate to people who are the same race as you. College is already huge adjustment. You should just feel comfortable with whatever sorority you're in. For you, it happened to be a white sorority. That's cool too.
Lmfao this was so cute I loved the fact that these girls came together, and they all seem like they're having a good time.. Even though some are less rhythmic then others.. But yeah, I really enjoyed this video 😂😭👏🏾
For those that have an issue with phi mu throwing AKA's hand symbols, the AKA's probably granted them special permission and I'm sure they maybe taught them the meaning behind the symbols. Just a hunch.
One of my favorite sorority sisters is White said she decided to become an AKA because she felt like the stereotypical "White" orgs had only superficial things to offer her and I have heard other people comment on that including my White family members. From the outside it often looks like members of "White" orgs make commitments only for the time they are in school.
Never EVER should our symbol be used by any Pan Hel greek organization. EVER. However, if the lessons aren't taught like they used to be by Sorors who understand the CORE....this kind of ignorance occurs.
I would love for UK Reporter Stacey Dooley do a profile about Fraternities & Sororities at HCBU Schools. In England as far as I know they don't' do stuff like that.
I love this togetherness (not so much rhythmically); inclusion. This is the stuff they DON’T want you to see. Not only are two races or two different life time organizations coming together, but women as a whole 😍 love it
don't hate ..... their wasn't anything wrong with what they did I think it's great it shows unity ..... ppl saying why are they with a blk sorority when white sororities don't except blks that is not true. not all white sororities are like that. and besides 2 wrongs don't make it right ... we have to be the change we want to see in the world.
Awesome video. That's what I call Greek unity. But I must say, I have been in the Greek life for over 20 years and I have NEVER seen a white AKA until now. I've seen white Sigmas, Zetas, SGRrhos, and my own beloved A Phi A, but never a white AKA or Que.
+CFII06 why does it matter what color her skin is? If she pledged, crossed and is representing AKA in the utmost respect why does her being white matter. Nowhere on the application is it states that ONLY black women can pledge AKA. Such foolishness.
No, you had your own but also wanted what "they" had so you forced your way into "their" spaces & now they're not allowed to have their own, but you are & you're still bitching. See how it says "CHALLENGE" in the title? They only do this for a specific purpose, like fund raisers & charities, you hateful hag.
Wait so is the last white girl in line #37 an actual AKA because she's the only one that has on an AKA line shirt. All the other Phi Mu girls have on their sorority shirt. If she is, you go girl, I know 2 other white AKAs myself!
What school was this at ?? I'm a black Phi Mu and my cousin is an AKA and she pretty much disowned me when I went Phi Mu so this Video just made my life complete :)
usually white people that join BLGOs have some affiliation with black people as they grew up. ive seen many white AKAs. even Ebony Mag had a special issue on this topic in the late 90s early 2000s (not sure exactly the year). it was interesting. good read.
I love the unity! Love the stroll! Two questions though. Why are some of the ladies not members allowed to hold their pinkies up? Do they not have their own hand sign?
Baby girlllllll #3 is an AKA at heart !! I don’t care what you say 😂😂
🔥

that's actually me! hahah. but the AKAs taught us the stroll and said we could do the pinkies because our sign can be difficult to throw up that fast, haha.

First off I'm not a girl. I'm not arguing with you anymore. I'm over your bullshit.
bye now mammy.
Naaaawwww. This is cute, but race absolutely matters. You're more likely to be able to relate to people who are the same race as you. College is already huge adjustment. You should just feel comfortable with whatever sorority you're in. For you, it happened to be a white sorority. That's cool too.
#3 went SUPER HARD. Good job!
Lmfao this was so cute I loved the fact that these girls came together, and they all seem like they're having a good time.. Even though some are less rhythmic then others.. But yeah, I really enjoyed this video 😂😭👏🏾
Not less rhythmic lol
I love the Unity Shown. I Wish More of These Moments Would go Viral 🙌🏽🙌🏽 Oldie but Goodie. Be Blessed 😉🙏🏽💞
The third white girl was given me all sorts of life!!!
OMG! That 3rd girl was on point!! Great job!
For those that have an issue with phi mu throwing AKA's hand symbols, the AKA's probably granted them special permission and I'm sure they maybe taught them the meaning behind the symbols. Just a hunch.
It's the third Chic for me, she's an AKA at heart.🤙🏼🤣🤣
Number 3 though lol she was getting it!

However, the other sorority shouldn't be throwing up our symbol. They couldve done their symbol but still a job well done!
That's what I said.
Never EVER should our symbol be used by any Pan Hel greek organization. EVER. However, if the lessons aren't taught like they used to be by Sorors who understand the CORE....this kind of ignorance occurs.
AKA's and Phi Mu's hung out on our campus as well this is so ironic!! Cute!
Alright diversity come through I love it!!
I would love for UK Reporter Stacey Dooley do a profile about Fraternities & Sororities at HCBU Schools. In England as far as I know they don't' do stuff like that.
Third girl ain’t come to play🔥🔥
I love this togetherness (not so much rhythmically); inclusion. This is the stuff they DON’T want you to see. Not only are two races or two different life time organizations coming together, but women as a whole 😍 love it
After the show the white girls probably pulled all of the AKAs ' boyfriends, LOL.
#3 know how to bounce that.
37 got a some black in her
3 and 37 was grooving
Facts - 37 needs some spotlight too, in addition to 3!
# 3 was popping that booty @2:34! LOL
don't hate ..... their wasn't anything wrong with what they did I think it's great it shows unity ..... ppl saying why are they with a blk sorority when white sororities don't except blks that is not true. not all white sororities are like that. and besides 2 wrongs don't make it right ... we have to be the change we want to see in the world.
This is really cute!!
Why should we be the ones willing to change?
Not that this is important or whatever, but that is the first time I have ever seen a white AKA.
#3 WAS GETTIN' IT!
#3 Goes HARD (Girl you DID THAT...madd props) ...lol omg - I love the greek unity - that is something you dont see at alot of schools. nice ladies.
I love the unity great job ladies Those who have came before you would be proud....#Unity
Girl #3 was getting it effortlessly ❤🔥👑
Did anyone stop to think they may have the same hand gesture and similar color, maybe that's why they were paired together
Both are the first female sororities in the United States... phi mu( in general) and AKA (first black female sorority)
I love this! This was so cute! All of yall look great !

WHITE GIRL #3 AND #5 IN LINE WAS HITTTTTTTTIN IT!
lmao how do you know...white women wear extensions and weaves as well
Wait i just noticed the last white girl was acually an AKA
We started our own because they wouldn't allow us in and now they want to belong to ours!!!! 🙄🤡
@Janelle Johnson The ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha look at their hands like that because they look at their hands as if they were a mirror
That first white girl had the most rhythm of all the Phi Mu's. The other ones were whack as hell!
Apropos, where is woman number three-(3), and what is she doing now? She most assuredly, did a great job!
Yea I'm an AKA and I was definitely not a fan of the pinkies and ivies being thrown up...but the unity concept was cute.
Why bc u are a hater & threatened by white girls????
Wait so is the last white girl in line #37 an actual AKA because she's the only one that has on an AKA line shirt. All the other Phi Mu girls have on their sorority shirt. If she is, you go girl, I know 2 other white AKAs myself!
@bhodgerrr I agree!!! lol they were so good one of my friends is a phi mu and the aka's are lovely
I love seeing greek unity! it makes me happy.
The White girl (#3 in line) should have just led the stroll. She went harder than the K's.
Wooow good job ladies 🌹🌹🌹

haha yessss!!!! i am loving #37!!
Yea 37 was so chill
At 1:30, she’s really good!
Dear third girl...to the cookout you go!
Hmm, as soon as one of the AKA’s lose their BF to a Phi Mu, all hell will break loose.
ya think???
Lol. 3way.
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BASICALLY they need to let #3 be an AKA cause clearly...
#3 can come get it.
SMDH Divestors participation.
The third girl in line was gettin' it!!! Lol
That was live af. #3 was giving!!
Love to see Greek unity!
What school was this at ?? I'm a black Phi Mu and my cousin is an AKA and she pretty much disowned me when I went Phi Mu so this Video just made my life complete :)
Exactly which one of those hand gestures are in any official AKA document? Don't worry I'll wait.
Actually we have had our call and hand sign copy written! So... no need to wait! Go to the US patent registry!
Home hospice That's right Soror!!!!
Kappa Delta & DST next….!
I thought it was just black girls in sororitys
I understand unity but why is phi mu actually holding up pinkies and ivies? O_o
Wow, number 3 is the finest thang out there....
The 3rd girl she was made for this 😍😍😍😂
white girl in the front was was snappin. I loved this shit!
Unity theme! Good idea!
Love the Sorors and the unity...One question tho, the white girl #37, is she an AKA or was she wearing someones shirt?
usually white people that join BLGOs have some affiliation with black people as they grew up. ive seen many white AKAs. even Ebony Mag had a special issue on this topic in the late 90s early 2000s (not sure exactly the year). it was interesting. good read.
THIS IS THE UNIVERSITY OF MEMPHIS
Oh wow, girls from 2 different sororities
Ok cool I'm from Nashville so that's nice to know :)
I came back to this video for the third girl lol

I know she can get it and somebody was pipping her after the show; it never fails step shows after party leads to bedroom lmao
Number 3 was lit lit... I like her lol
Yep, the third girl, it's in her heart.
#3 should have been a K-point blank-she can GET IT
Where was this at? This is nice.
Where do Phi Mu's come in at with AKAs???
they killed it :)
I love the unity! Love the stroll! Two questions though.
Why are some of the ladies not members allowed to hold their pinkies up? Do they not have their own hand sign?
Really?....I seen tons of them..and Delta's 2...even a couple Zeta's...
Girl number eight...shaking my head...hope she gets soon
Yeah #3 was doing her thing!!! Heels and all
The 3rd white girl got more rhythm than the sisters
Probably ex-dance team members in high school
She did very well but let's not get carried away with lying
