so sad.. I loved Johnny.. thinking about us, fans, not to like them again.. I've seen the ma,y times live in Belgium.. even with a cane or a wheelchair I would go and see them.. they were the best ever..
Yeah! It's such a great cover of The Who - whom I consider to be a punk band during the early 1960s. This live version of "Have You Ever..." is awesome because they dropped it down a key from the original on "Acid Eaters" and sped up the tempo a notch. Too bad there isn't a remastered version available.
@rollfitty69 the influence of the ramones (and `punk`)is everywhere,my partners daughter wears ramones style sneakers and she would`nt know the ramones from adam (and the ants)
they didn’t hate each other, they still talked but only when it was important.. they just simply didn’t get along which is totally fine.. Imagine being in school and having a kid sit next to you that you just don’t vibe with, now imagine having to spend 22 years of your life with them.
@@frankgrimes7388 😆🤣😂 😆🤣😂 Let me get this straight- you think you can draw a a conclusion about my worldview and existential outlook from a two sentence post about Johnny and Joey Ramone not speaking to each other? What?!? There is NOTHING in my post that covers those areas. There isn't even a positive or negative connotation. There's no whiff of fatalism, optimism, pessimism, or any other ism. No offer of any transformative beliefs whatsoever. I was simply writing a fact: man A and man B didn't speak for years. And you think you can deduce my view of life from such a statement? You must be VERY unintelligent. Go back to T!kT○k you jagoff. Go back to documenting your wokeness and the neo-pronouns you use and your recent autism diagnosis and fat-shaming and all the other shit clueless millennials who have no life but think they know everything make videos about. I stated a cold hard FACT. No opinion. No debate. No emotion. No solution. You can't derive ANY evidence of how someone views life from a simple statement of fact. Here's another fact weenbag: I bet you never even saw the Ramones - possibly weren't even born when the Ramones were broken up? I saw them multiple times. Now go back to your regular routine of eating cornchips and guzzling Mountain Dew all day while beating off your rudimentary one inch peen to video clips of Billy Eilish on TH-cam.
@slim29 Yes! i'm 21 too and i got my first haircut this summer that was't from my mom though shes a cool mom she was a hair dresser in the 80's and loves to make voo doo dolls with me but i wanted my own freedom. Parents lol. Well the government says to be punk ya gotta have green hair, hate your parents and hate your contry lol. Bullshit Johnny and Joey loved there parents. here I go again ranting offf ........... seee ya
@slimv29 Hell yes! people ask me who cuts my hair and i'm like.........my mom $6.00 haircut place or the mixing bowl in the kitchen cupboard..............uhhhh yeah. lol.
Nobody before or since has played the guitar like Johnny. Green Day with their lazy washboard strumming is just grotesque. Ramones ARE punk. They set the bar and nobody's reached it yet.
All I can say is that these Guys are one of the Greatest Bands ever. I fell in love with them the Day I heard them first. I love Green Day as well.

@Big Smoke
Yawn. I'm 50. I started listening to the Ramones at 13.
Pienso igual que Marky, ellos en ese aspecto eran muy inmaduros :s

Johnny was a Republican, a true punk. He knew how to rile up people.
Guess that came from his lack of education
The Ramones are my favorite american rock n roll band of all time but i've never considered them to be a punk band.
They started punk rock! so what would u consider them to be then?
@@aarondoodles3380 pure and ultimate rock n roll B)
Lol That’s like saying Black Sabbath isn’t heavy metal, or Donovan isn’t psychedelic
The Ramones were the premier American Punk Band.
they also never considered themselves as punk. Johnny hated that
Oh god! lolihave such poor eye sight I thought CJ was a girlfriend or something lol
