I actually love that we're getting a lot of apartments! They're expensive but I think it will attract those not native to Raleigh so it'll alleviate existing apartment demand by adding competition. I'll miss the character, but it's better than the alternative of rent increasing a lot faster

Alternate transit and single family homes aren't congruous. These transit stops need dense housing and development to make it work. If someone has to get in their car to drive to the transit stop, it defeats the purpose.

Totally agree! Hoping we get more housing proposed downtown in 2024!

I’m from Nashville and the Raleigh Durham Chapel Hill area feels extremely small to me and slower paste because you can literally fit the entire triangle inside of the city of Nashville lol. It’s a slower pace of life for me and what I’m used to is definitely more suburban in the triangle less populated, but I feel like everything is into one area versus being spread out. I hope Rolley starts to build more skyscrapers because they have a need for them. Otherwise, I think the city will bottleneck.

Are $350k or less real estate available in the Durham or triangle areas?

Hi Rodney! That is a great question, though that's below the average price point in the area, there are definitely still options! There are even new construction single family options under 350 in Fuquay-Varina! In Durham, you're primarily looking at older homes that may need some updating or attached homes under 350, but there are gems in there occasionally! Feel free to send us a message anytime for more details.
