I've been told that Evan Marshall tunes all eight strings of his mandolin separately in fifths. It goes E, A, D, G, C, F, Bb, Eb, and Ab. But he can pick and finger every note so accurately that a tiny mandolin can sound like a complete orchestra.
I broke my violin after listening to this Divinely passionate performance. Humanly its not possible to play like this. I dont deserve to learn mandolin after hearing such performance.
