JOHN DEERE sprayer stuck in the muck

- We got stuck in the muck. Once you start to sink in that type of soil theres no stopping it. Theres just no bottom to it. We worked at it for about 5 hours on friday afternoon and another 4 saturday morning before we finally got it. Of course the battery died in the camera right before we got it out. If that sprayer isnt bent ill be amazed. You have an excavator, dig a path instead of pulling it through 5 ft of ground. I dropped a tracked pull type like that and we had a cat and excavator and it sprung the frame pulling on it like you were. Finally dug a gradual slope and got it out
The excavator dug a path and mats were laid. The muck that we farm is like jello when you get that deep
At least you have the equipment to help get it out and not have to call a tow truck.
If we could of gotten a wrecker out there we probably would have
A big winch is the best way to get something like a sprayer or combine out you can control your pull better you can ruin something stuck like that
If I had a big winch I would of used one
The ground around it did not look that bad. Did you fall into a spring or something ? That black dirt sure looks nice.
It was just a wet spot. That type of ground can get real wet in spots. That’s why the 1 side went down and the other stayed up. Once you go down it’s kinda like quicksand
@@WNYFarmer Yes and the sad part, is you always start out with plan A, and then work your way along. Sadly in your case you were well into the alphabet before you found one that worked. 👍👍👍👍

CY Farms. It’s nice dirt there. Unfortunately it’s not all like that
If the hydro handle is in neutral the parking break automatically engages
Correct
Next time you want to pull with an excavator hook to the frame of the excavator and use the bucket to pull yourself and walk at the same time
Think of the rocks you got out of the way.

Ide have used the track hoe and lifted theclow side up and filled the hole in and layed down some planking and pulled it out
