I own one of these, and I see you have an entire series on it. This video was spectacular. The best howto video I have ever seen. I have bookmarked the rest.
Thank you for this great advice! Only tutorial I've found that explains in depth how to do the passenger bright light, conveniently the one that burnt out on my car lmao
Thank you so much for posting this. Was struggling to detach the socket and your method worked great! I literally lol'd for the "if you can get it out, then it's good for you..." part.
That's awesome! So glad to hear that you felt confident when you attempted to change the bulbs after watching this video. Thanks for sharing.it made my day!
Thanks for this video. Just as easy as you showed it, although it is a little tighter on the driver side. Might need small hands or someone with smaller hands to help you.
This was great! Thank you! I did notice that I now get a DRL (warning?) indicator on my dashboard now. I looked online a bit and noticed it might be due to the LED replacements I used due to difference in voltage (halogens use more power). Is there a way to resolve this indicator on my dash without turning off the DRL?
My low beams are nothing like yours. Mine has a warning on the back cap that says do not remove high voltage. It’s got some funky kind of bulb it I’ve never seen before in my life. And I’ve changed a lot of bulbs in my day.
Yeah you likely have the Touring or Ultimate or any of those higher end trims that has the HID bulbs on it. Unfortunately that will be a different process that this video doesn't cover. :(
I couldn’t get my high beams out. Removing the wire clips must have been the trick - which is the step that isn’t in the owner’s manual. Replacing bulbs should never be this difficult.
Yeah I remember struggling with it too trying to figure it out the first time. Could have been easier, but I hope you found this video helpful in the process.
@ I thought my mechanic would maybe have a better time with it but even he had trouble with it. The offence here is that we shouldn’t have to pay a mechanic to replace our headlights. It’s negligent design.
Yeah it takes a while to get it off sometimes. When I tried it the first time I struggled with it a couple mins before I figured it out. It gets stuck over the years due to dirt and moisture.
Great video, really helpful. From an engineering standpoint, this design is a disgrace. Bulbs should be able to be a basic owner repair, requiring no tools. I’m 5’6” w/ smaller hands/arms. I could barely get into the drivers side
Passenger high beam bulb was really tough with very tight space, and it was kind of stuck since I never changed for 9 years. Finally I had to use an adjustable wrench to turn and get the bulb out from the headlight hole . Wrench gave some leverage and was able to turn, came out pretty quickly
My 2011 ody 100K miles gave me problems from the get go to install new LED bulbs. First, you need smaller, strong hands, (think Japanese worker) not older, larger, arthritic hands to access the sockets. All 4 bulbs were stuck and very difficult to turn to get out of the housings. On the passenger side, I moved not only the PS tank but the wiper tank as well. I loosened the battery also to get another 1/4" of room. Still had to get a pliers down there to get some leverage to turn the bulb. I replaced the new blue gaskets with the old orange ones. Took me 2-3 hours to accomplish. 10 minutes is BS, maybe for a brand new car.
I guess I have been told my many people on my videos that I do have smaller hands, so I must have smaller hands. Sorry to hear that you had it was a lot more time consuming for you. Hope the video helped give some direction during the process however.
Low Beam Bulb: H11
High Beam Bulb: 9005
best video on changing bulb. thx
Idk why this is one of the best how to video I’ve ever watched. The camera angles and precise commentary and all was perfect. Thanks.

Push inward on the bulb and turn, don't take too long and spill steering fluid out of the reservoir like I did lmao
Thank you so much for posting this. Was struggling to detach the socket and your method worked great! I literally lol'd for the "if you can get it out, then it's good for you..." part.

Great video! Worked but now i have an fcw and lwd sytem warning. Any thoughts?
That's odd. Those features work using the camera and radar combination. Nothing to do with the headlights.
Great video. It helped me change my light.
Glad it helped!
How to change daytime running lights?
The DRTs are the High Beam bulbs but run at low voltage.
Good job, that was clear for me. Thanks
Glad I could help!
Thank you. This was a very helpful video.
Thank you so much! Glad to hear that you found the video helpful!

Glad it helped! There are some aftermarket solutions for the DRL warning cause of LED, but I don't know of one specifically. Sorry :(
Awesome job ! Thanks man !

Does it process work with trims Touring and touring elite which have HID headlamps
Not sure about that. It will be like a little different.
Very good video, Really appreciate it !!!

Honda wants you in the shop to charge you $200!
$200? That's extremely steep 🤯
@ I thought my mechanic would maybe have a better time with it but even he had trouble with it. The offence here is that we shouldn’t have to pay a mechanic to replace our headlights. It’s negligent design.
I agree with you
You are the best
Glad I could help!
In my 2012 touring there is like a canister protecting the connector. Not as easy access as shown in the video.
Thanks for sharing!
great video

Press down and slide down is where I'm stuck! It won't come off😢
Yeah it takes a while to get it off sometimes. When I tried it the first time I struggled with it a couple mins before I figured it out. It gets stuck over the years due to dirt and moisture.

You just push the electrical connection tab, and it comes right out🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes, it's that easy!
I appreciate you!
Thank you!

Yeah its not the most accessible vehicle to work for you for headlight bulbs. Hopefully you found the video helpful during the process
