I am SO happy for you and your precious family! The house is gorgeous!!! With such a large home and children/parents on different levels, make sure all fire and smoke alarms are working and there is a plan in place for everyone to know what to do and where to meet. I would also have a security system and make sure the bottom floor has sensors on all the doors and windows since the girls have exterior doors. I know you are going to make this place amazing! The house and the property are just breathtaking!!! Congratulations!

Wonderful house I am so jealous and by the way the Little nook under the staircase going to the basement is more like if you have a bad weather or tornadoes or something where you need to be protected with your family that’s where you go so I recommend not putting stuff in there! Love your house so jealous wish I could have it!

I hate when someone says it will be changed or I hate this about it! They are tearing things down or replacing them before even moving in! It takes living in a house for a while to make personnel adjustments. The kids and the dogs will love the woods! Lots of adventures ahead!

I grew up with a wood burning fireplace in a legit log cabin in the country (i.e. no insulation or drywall covering the logs and plaster 🤣 or hvac system) and the idea that nook was for firewood absolutely would not have occurred to me, at all! It makes a lot of sense, I'm just shocked so many people knew what it was for.
My goodness 😲. Such a beautiful "estate" of a house. I know everyone will be able to breathe and have lots of space to move around. What a huge blessing. ❤️❤️

Wow!! I love it so much. I thought the pantry off the laundry room might have been a laundry closet, like family closet. But then I saw no other pantry. I thought the basement kitchen would b a great place to keep all the homes here snacks and lunch so you don’t even have to leave for lunch.

WOW is a lot of house to clean but beautiful. Only 2 things I would change 1st is the stairs really don't like the open stairs with young children 2nd is the glass door in the eldest child's room I personally would have it removed it's just my opinion. I wish you a lifetime of happyness.

It’s gorgeous!!! I love how private it is! Seriously cant imagine how beautiful it will be at night without lights from town. I’m in the south so all I can think is I won’t be able to get my daughter to school when it snows😂 I’m so excited to see you make it all your own!
I grew up in the south, in the woods like this, and we didn't go to school on snow days. Our driveway and most of the 3 mile road to our house would ice over solid before town people even got ice put out. We weren't home schooled either. 😅 But we both passed and went to college so the days of coming home with a weeks worth of make up work after the ice melted didn't ruin our long term future. 😁 People honestly thought our family was lying when we'd explain the ice situation. That many trees meant there was almost never direct sunlight on the road, so the melting took forever. And our driveway was literally the last house in our county before the next county started. We'd tell people we lived a long way out in the country and other people thought that meant maybe 20 minutes. Their jaws would drop when we told them 45 minutes. I grew up with all that being normal. I honestly didn't understand other people's home living normals any more than they understood ours. I knew central heat and air meant you set the temperature you wanted with a thermostat but I was in high-school before I realized the reason we couldn't put on in our house (besides money) was you had to be able to run ductwork. And we didn't have normal walls with sheet rock and studs to run that through. I didn't understand other people had a literally endless supply of water available all the time, because we lived on rain water collecting in the cistern. I didn't understand that most people honestly can do everything they need to survive within a 10, maybe 15 minute drive in any direction from their house. Our closest grocery store was half an hour away. And more than anything I didn't understand how the in town people got their roads salted and they had so few trees everything was melted by 2 in the afternoon because it had been in direct sunlight for most of that time. So I didn't actually see how different their lives were until I did sleepovers in middle and high school. That's when I realized why my normal life was so strange to them.

Beautiful!!! I saw on a video somewhere that a parent got one of those doorbells from Amazon. One where you plug the chime into the wall in a central location that your kids will be,and the bell was put somewhere you spend a lot of time. Like the kitchen or an office. When you want the kids to come down stairs ring the bell a few times. Rather then yelling. And since you’re now in a HUGE house that could be helpful.
Congratulations!! We moved to our dream home about 1 year ago 16 acres out in the middle of the countryside. Our whole family loves it and it’s been great for the kids. I wish you all the very best on your new adventure!
