Some great records there if they’re in good condition. Spotted a Bobby Bare, Glaser, two artists in the outlaw movement. Those Owens records from the sixties are killer. Shaking’ Stevens was a British rockabilly star in the 80s. He was supposed to be one of the biggest sellers there back in the day. I’m a music fan and listen to a wide variety of genres, country included. Remember what they say, if you got it, a truck brought it😁😂. Free records can’t be beat. Cheers.
I pulled a bunch out for my personal collection. One of those shakin Steven’s turned out to be a fairly rare sought after one. This is the second time I got records from this dump. I hit it twice a week now lol
You found some cool stuff for free! I saw a couple of your video's and you have the same thing I always do: telling the same story twice to the same person!🙂(or in the same video) Must be the over 50 thing, i'll do the same!
Nah I have been a collector (or hoarder as by better half says) all my life. I never throw anything away. Still have my records (over 2500) and my CD (over 1500), and my tapes, and my cards, and my toys and….well you get the picture. That why I can’t leave perfectly good stuff at the dump. Even if it’s not something I personally like I am sure I can find someone who will
@@timecapsuledunnville5133 I was pulling your leg of of course - I'm a natural hoarder too. I have about 900 LPs from first time round. I have about 4000 CDs. I don't really buy vinyl now - mostly because I rarely see LPs of the kind of music I hanker for. So saying, I probably would in the States.
I know you don't particularly care for country music and you feel most people would feel the same way however I wish you would have taken the time and slowed down on this like you do other videos there is some good things in here
My apologies for that. I didn’t mean to give the impression I don’t like country. I love several country artists. The Carter family, most of the artist on the early king label, and staraday labels. I love Hank and patsy, Kris, Willie, Johnny, Waylon dolly. I just was not that interested in the particular artists who were in these bins all that much. That being said I will try and slow down next time. Cheers
I guess I’m just getting to that age, but seeing the level of country talent like this just left to a dumpster just makes my blood boil. Over here in Southern Cali, records of every last stripe are being given 25 and 30 dollar price tags no matter who, they don’t sell (surprise surprise), they wind up in situations like this. I don’t mean to bash the generations under about age 45 or 50, but music did not get invented with Garth Brooks and Guns & Roses. Nauseating!🤬

It's fun looking at albums sideways and the back covers...
I am to please lol
It's great these were rescued. It would have been a shame for the lot to go into landfill.
That’s what I thought!

I do tend to babble on lol
Great score
Thanks
That Fendermen record looks badass.
Honestly it is amazing. I have not looked on TH-cam to see if they have anything up. If they do check out the song “Mule Skinner Blues”. It is so good
@@timecapsuledunnville5133 yah it’s great. the Cramps cover that song too
I love the cramps!
I don’t know if you missed/or didn’t know but that Blue Ridge Rangers album is John Fogerty’s first solo album
That is one I didn’t know. Thanks for pointing it out!
Little Jimmy Dickens is signed.
I didn’t notice that, at first.
Take them all check for good inner sleeves that may have survived
That is a good idea.
Some real nice acts in these boxes. Maybe you could edit the chat alittle, alot of repetition but an amiable host regardless.
I will work on that.
Better check the comps on those Shakin' Stevenses
I will. Now you have me guessing lol.
road apples
Arguably the best Tragically Hip Album. Wish it was in this lot
Are you sure they're not the ones you threw away when you followed the crowd in the late 80s?
And now you've thrown away your CDs right? 😄

Could be. Glad they do lol
