    I was seriously about to comment about the harpies' elegance juxtaposed with their menace as soon as I opened the video, and you mentioned elegance right away and menace just a couple minutes in. YOU GET IT.
    These videos are so cool. They sound so professional (David Attenborough of Azeroth), and they are so in-depth. You understand the fun fantasy of WOW and take the lore so seriously (for the purpose of these videos) that it's almost camp-y, but not in a cringey way. Keep up the great work!! I'd love a behind-the-scenes glimpse into how you write your scripts, gather the footage, and decide how it all fits together.

    • @TheChroniclesofAzeroth
      @TheChroniclesofAzeroth  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Ah, we share a vision then! To grasp the dichotomy of the harpies' elegance and menace is to understand the essence of Azeroth's inhabitants.
      The depth of my affection for this world stems from a longstanding bond with its tales. Bringing its stories to life on your screen is a passion that has recently blossomed, allowing me to channel that resonance into something visual and vivid!
      Perhaps one day soon, I shall offer a glimpse in the creation behind these narratives!

    The Audiobook of War of the Ancients made me love Aviana...she just wants to make sure her children live and thrive and are happy. And we go and destroy them 😅 She was one of the ancients that fought and died in the War against Sargeras. She also commanded the birds, but the Harpies are like her true children, similar to her.
    I also like how she talks, Aviana talks in a singing voice and repeats the last word, like an echo. In the audiobooks she sounds a bit detached from the world, since she is mostly in the sky.
    The Harpies are so pretty, I like how menacing they look too. They are femenine but also feral, and they obviously have a culture because we can see they make huts/nests, and jewelry. I like them.

      Harpies have filthy nests covered in gore and excriment and its stated multiple times that they capture men to forcibly mate with. They're not nice creatures

    Always hated how we never got any expansions or follow ups on the original Azeroth races and possible good factions for them. Seeing the gnolls or harpies as a friendly faction and getting to see their society and culture would be amazing. A hollowed out tree similar to the night elves starting zone or something similar to grizzlemaw but filled with harpies flying around the branches would be beautiful

    • @marcellosouzabeltrao9257
      @marcellosouzabeltrao9257 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Well, they made the centaurs out of good guys. I think it's interesting that harpies can have different breeds among them, like a royal hawk owl or a bird harpy.

    • @marcellosouzabeltrao9257
      @marcellosouzabeltrao9257 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Not to mention the strong connection with their Druidism, I particularly wish they'd take away those raspy voices and give them a more angelic garlic, as if they'd already moved on from that wild era

    • @marcellosouzabeltrao9257
      @marcellosouzabeltrao9257 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      And of course the kobolds are a nice addition too as Hearthstone shows with fubalumba and they use candles to prevent the darkness from killing them the gnols are a bit more difficult but we could have a tribe of gnols who see value in someone who knows how to fight.

    • @sgttoasterface5282
      @sgttoasterface5282 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@marcellosouzabeltrao9257 would definitely like to see a more advanced version of the harpies, not technologically, but in the sense that they evolved from the corruption of their race and go back to being more regal and less aggressive, maybe from being isolated from the other races on an island or something with the emerald dream cleansing them. They could stay as territorial and fighters, but have their Druidism make them realize they need to work with the other druids as well and reveal themselves to both factions. I don’t even play the game anymore but the lore of all the different races and factions are some of the best in any fantasy series, and then it’s like they just stopped caring after the first few expansions and just focused on money over content

      A belated response, but your sentiment is evergreen!
      Your vision paints a fascinating world, one that stretches the boundaries of our current understanding and appreciation of Azeroth.
      The idea of seeing traditionally marginalized races like Gnolls or Harpies in a friendly light, complete with their own rich societies and cultures, is a refreshing perspective.
