    7:34 - Holly Robinson
    9:04 - The Roman
    9:30 - The Long Halloween
    12:00 - The White Knight

    14:05 - Black Mask
    16:40 - No Man's Land
    17:56 - Batman 1989
A special thanks goes to these people for reporting most of Batman Mythos references:

Something I've noticed is the reason a lot of batman villains exist is because they have had a connection with Falcone. Falcone is the real enemy the true Villain of Gotham, and almost every villain has a bone to pick with Falcone.

If that Joker's origin story is true, that would mean he became a super-villain super-fast. Think about it. Arkham Origins takes place in the 2nd year of Batman. Batman tried to apprehend Joker before he was Joker. In Arkham Origins, Joker takes control of Black Mask (a very powerful super-villain) and has hundreds of thugs on his side. This means that within two years (probably less considering that Batman probably wouldn't have gone after Falcone his first few months) he became Joker and got up the nerve to kidnap Black Mask and take control of his entire criminal empire, and, after losing the Black Mask disguise, still maintain control of his finances and his men.

Regarding Calendar Man, it's worth noting that in Dark Victory (the sequel to Long Halloween), he plays a much more active role as he attempts to gaslight Alberto Falcone (the first Holiday) into committing suicide as punishment for stealing his "gimmick" as a holiday-themed killer. All the more reason Selina wouldn't want him out.

Well he let himself be used by Falcone - so that was never going to end well either way. There was no threat to his wife (sadly) by that point. And according to the joker - it could all very well be a lie anyway. I like the original movie Joker origin, but they rush through it at the end and kind of weaken it with the "I made you, you made me" banter. I figure each story of his origin has one true element that makes the entire complete story (Heath Ledger style) - and the Batman was never every involved directly. Hugo said that Batman was in everyone of the Joker's delusional versions, but if Batman never, ever really was directly involved, it would be the greatest joke of all.

Mad Hatter dabbles with mind control. We first see Hatter watching from a distance during the cutscene where you save Vicki Vale from snipers. Since Hatter is adjusting his hat in the cutscene, and his mind control device is often depicted as being in his hat, we can infer he has implanted a hypnotic suggestion in Batman; presumably, Alfred's message about the cure is a hallucination. Keep in mind that the Mad Hatter boss fight is the closest thing to the Scarecrow missions in Asylum.

He's a killer, who does cruel things to torment people and Batman.
Don't be like, "but he lost his wife, and got bleached," because that wouldn't excuse him from the families he harmed. Not to mention his origin story is proven to be another one of his made-up stories.
The Joker admits he makes his stories "multiple choice" and in some comics, he doesn't even remember what happened to him.

I discovered an Easter Egg: When you have to get to the top of Wonder Tower to face Strange after Protocol Ten has commenced, when you get near to the elevator's door, you can hear Strange congratulating the TYGER forces for their achievement, and then he says that they will establish new camps in Metropolis and Keystone. As you know, Metropolis is the sity that Superman protects, and Keystone is one of the two that Flash protects, the other being Central City.

I have Two Easter Eggs For you BAV .
    1. In the first Catwoman mission, there is a side table with a map and a blueprint on it. This blueprint is also found in the secret room in Arkham Asylum on the Warden's desk
    2. If you return to the room where you start the game in the Arkham City Proccessing Center you will find a door that cannot open, however, if you punch the mirror next to it, it will reveal a hidden room. :D

I'm not sure if it's directly linked as I know nothing about the Batman Comics or the history of the Batman story, but in the game, when you unlock a riddler story about the Lazarus Pit, it explains that there was a giant seismic disturbance due to the usage of it. I gathered that this was the reason of the broken down part of Arkham City, as the Lazarus Pit is quite a big part of the story within the game, also the fact they removed the "No Man's Land" sign there further increases my belief.

This is why I love this game: everything is just so brilliantly executed; the environment, the easter eggs, the characters, the design, the story, the voice acting (in particular the henchmen; their dialogue is half the game- in my opinion). My only problem was it was too short (I played the main story without looking for riddles or side quests; only 5 hours long!). But hurry up Rock Steady with the next game; prequel, midquel or sequel :)

Batman mythos- Jokers dogs from "Batman the Animated Series"
You can find them in Penguins museum inside a display. The dogs were shot and stuffed by the Penguin.
You can see these dogs in the episode "Mad Love" in the series.

I don't know if this has been pointed out in any video but; When you see twoface in the courtroom, he uses quotes as: "order in the court" (something along those lines) and "this court is now in session".
This could be a reference to "judgement day" from TNBAS, where 'the judge', a vigilante who serves justice, is actually a third personality of twoface. Some of his quotes are the same as twoface uses in the courtroom in arkham city.
    I could be wrong though.

There's a newspaper page in Arkham Asylum, before you go in and fight Harley Quinn and close to two faces cell, it says there will be a storm, maybe that's why amusement mile is flooded.

  • @alexvazquez2871

In reference to the seismic activities. That story (or clue) is connected to Ra's Al Ghul's story and his return to Gotham. In his attempt to mine and dig out the Lazarus pit, he inadvertently causes the seismic activity that caused Amusement Mile to flood. It is stated on the second Ra's Al Ghul story (or clue) in the game.

    Another Easter Egg!
if you've seen the Hugo Strange Arkham City Trailer, then you will know this. When you enter Wonder Tower, on the floor where Hugo Strange accuses you for everything and you fight all his henchmen, if you enter to the left, there will be a dead tortured Tyger Captain on a torture stand. The same guy from the trailer, both look strikingly similar. (Same)

In "Batman - Under The Red Hood," Batman and Nightwing fights The Amazo. In one scene, when Batman throws batarangs toward Amazo, he dodges to of them, but one turns around and hits him in the leg, which is similar to the "Reversed Batarang" in that Batman uses in the game!

That's actually just another reference to Clayface I (Basil Karlo). He was an actor who became enraged when he heard they were shooting a remake of his film "The Terror" and dressed up as the film's villain to take revenge on the remake's staff.

They was I saw it, he's not injected with anything. From what I remember watching from one of the tv shows, is that Basil Karlo was in a horrible car crash, but before anybody knew, he was offered a deal with a shady businessman: he'd be the lab rat for their new "facial reformation cream" which let you mold your face into anything. After becoming addicted to the substance, he breaks into the labs where it was made, (part 2 is a response to this comment)

  • @AngelSGLP
    @AngelSGLP 12 ปีที่แล้ว

oh yeah I haven't consider that. However, in "Under The Red Hood" (I'm talking about the movie), Batman first believes that the Joker is the Red Hood once again, and interrogates him. Joker obviously accepts he was once the Red Hood.
But Batman interrogated him, so if Joker did was Red Hood and Batman believes that too, that may confirm a little more that's his true origin. Either Batman knows the truth or simply believes what Joker says about his origin.
But well, it could be, it could be not.
