Batman Arkham Videos and thank you, for providing years of entertainment! From Asylum to now, you've only gotten better and more dedicated! Love your videos, sir!
I loved how you presented each Easter egg, with explanatory description, music + additional clips. That was just amazingly done. I got goose bumps from the entire video. And I also had no idea that there were SO many different Easter eggs in this game. The amount of details that Rocksteady went through.
I [mostly] agree with you. The Deathstroke battle from Arkham Origins was complete awesome. In the game, Deathstroke kept saying how “I have been training for this battle for all my life”, “it will be good to face a true warrior” and “these towers will only sharpen your fighting skills for the battle against me”. That battle sounded awesome. It could be a culmination of the new gadgets and fighting abilities in Arkham Knight. But it just turned out to be another Cobra battle you did a few hours ago against the Arkham Knight. I was disappointed as F**k.
I actually liked the Batmobile stuff. It changed the dynamic of the game enough to keep it fresh and exciting. And by golly, those Cobra sections were just the best.
I know this is late, but Arkham Knight is ahead of its time in modern gaming. Asylum for story telling, city for missions, Origins for joker backstory. This for Easter eggs and story driven game.
@@Sekken115 I'm beyond tired of people heaping so much undeserved praise on the most relatively disappointing video game sequel since God of War 2. It expanded the core gameplay from AA well in most ways. However, the implementation of armored enemies in combat and predator was a goofy and artificial way to try to make players use automatic/loud takedowns. The titans of Arkham Asylum were simple yet viscerally satisfying enemies to fight. But in AC you just perma-stun them and mash square while Batman's head and shoulders embarrassingly clip into him. Not all proper boss fights were winners, either. Grundy was a pseudo boss fight puzzle reminiscent of the lamest parts of God of War 2, and the actual one-on-one part of the fight with Ra's was a wholly inferior version of the battle with Poison Ivy in AA. By far the shortest campaign of the four main games. Everything involving Catwoman was mediocre at best and came in strange intervals. But that absolutely horrendous story is what cripples it. The writing is like sub-par fan-fiction (if I ever read fan-fiction). Overtly nonsensical plot holes, laughably contrived events and cringe-inducingly juvenile dialogue throughout. This is the norm, not the exception. It's thematically bankrupt as it pretends to be epic and profound with (admittedly) stirring music. Look, every Arkham game has some contrivances, but they're nowhere near as bad nor as widespread as in AC. Just about every aspect of the main story can be meticulously pulled apart. It's not in any way comparable to Dini's fantastic contributions to Batman: The Animated Series and its feature films. This is not the Mask of the Phantasm of gaming. I have to say that some of the side missions like Zsasz's phone calls were actually much, much better written. Some of the major plot twists were embarrassingly self-spoiled. We could see that there was a healthy-looking Joker that gassed Batman, the real Joker coughing as he's filming Clayface Joker, and we could see Clayface Joker facing the mirror and seeing the sick Joker. I don't know how any person could be surprised by the end reveal (attempted one, anyway). I will say that the challenge mode would've been easily the best of the series, but the absolutely scummy practice of carving out DLC character and challenge maps that could've been on the disc on day one, then selling them back to gamers. Each of the four main Arkham games are guilty of this to some degree, but City is absolutely the worst offender. To top it all off, we had to stare at a purple-caped Batman for the entire game the first time through (there is a cheat code to use alternate skins, but that wasn't known until months after the game released). As a game, I definitely prefer Arkham City over Arkham Origins. But the Arkham City I played is nowhere near deserving the praise it gets. I honestly thought I had a spoof copy of the game after the first time I played it.
The Solomon Grundy nursery rhyme with the little girl singing is legit bone chilling but it’s still a really cool Easter egg thank your Rocksteady you guys have made the best Superhero game known to man
@@bamboozled9609 spiderman is second best only because i like DC a bit more than Marvel and the arkham games introduced the mechanics used in spiderman so without arkham there would be no spiderman game i still liked spiderman though and it had a better story than knight
@@mohawkandbeard4335 I totally agree, I'm biased because Spiderman has always been my favorite even though I prefer DC? But you're right, without Arkham Asylum, there would never be a Spiderman PS4
I have just finished watching this and I have no words. Six years ago, I started playing Arkham Asylum, just before Arkham City's release, and it was just love in first sight. Now, six years later I can say I'm fulfilled with joy because of the Arkham series and because of Batman Arkham Videos. Thank you so much.
Just can't believe it's been almost 2 years since I made this comment. Also, almost 4 years since the release of the last Arkham Game. God, seems like it was yesterday I started playing Arkahm Asylum for the first time. 2011, there goes 8 great years that Arkham Games are in my life. I was scrolling down my twitter feed and saw a print of mine thanking you for the years of service. I write this comment now to thank you again. Everytime I'll remember Arkham Games I'll remember this great channel and work of yours. Don't even know if you are going to read this, but thank you.
To BAV: I still remember watching the arkham city Easter egg videos when they came out. I was so captivated by your amazing channel. It's obvious you put lots and lots of effort into it and I thank you for that as I'm sure many others do. You're truly an inspiration to me and I can say that I'm extremely proud to have been with your channel since the early days of arkham city's launch. Hell you were the first person I subbed to when I made an account. In fact if I think it was your channel that even made me such a big fan of the arkham series. I love your content BAV and I hope you keep doing what your doing and keep making such high quality content.
I honestly live for the side-conversations between the thugs and cops in these type of games. Some can provide insight for the games, and others are just funny as hell; "Its a Kraken, not a dinosaur!"
@@ixdxmagedxl8737”who asked tho 🤓🤓🤓” stfu with that toxic shit people are so trash nowadays and you dont fall short of that category. no better than a two bit thug.
Batman Arkham Videos this is an Easter Egg that you probably didn't know; when a thug is talking about Dent being the bat, that is a reafrance to The Dark Knight movie, were Dent said he was Batman.
Batman Arkham Videos I beat the game and others vids said that would be the new intro then others said the intro was deleted, so I believe that it was deleted, and then it scared the crap out of me
Batman Arkham Videos 27:10 it is sad cause he served less than 3 years and got exposed and left the office in total disgrace, people will remember him as the American Disgrace, u know like Dusty Rhodes and Cody Rhodes, The American Dream and The American Nightmare, get it
I think my favorite Easter egg is the one that indicates that Ivy didn’t die in vain. She’s an evil woman who will terrorize Gotham, but her “death” was pretty noble and quite heroic. In this universe I definitely think she deserves and has earned a second chance at life and maybe even a chance to become more of a antihero or hero outright, especially considering she died to ingest all of scarecrows toxins to save the city. Which she very easily could’ve refused simply to spite batman but she didn’t.
Flash: *sees gotham news* Flash: eh im too tired Superman: i have work.... Green arrow: i ran out of arrows..... Black canary: my neck hurts Green lantern: my ring died.... Atom: uuuh science Constantine: im too drunk right now Batman:suuure......
@@HonouredOneRBLX I'm joking about how they have all these Easter eggs in the game to other heros superman flash even green arrows company but none of them try and help him XD
I wish that there was a thing that if you did just enough things, Superman would be seen off in the distance. Like maybe it’s gotta be a 100% before you call in the Knightfal protocol. Just before you call it in, you stand on top of Wayne Tower and if you look I. A certain direction, perhaps towards the water or something, you see Superman. He doesn’t say anything, he doesn’t do anything, he’s just there. He floats for a few seconds then flies off. Would have been nice.
I was so shocked of how this game was criticized, even today, I still go back and play this game just for fun. When I got Batman Arkham Asylum, it was in 2009 and I was only five! That became my favorite game for such a long time and each time a new game came out, I got it within the same year. This game series has been a Batman masterpiece and has blessed numerous comic geeks that like Batman, including me. I love this series and nothing will ever change my opinion.
31:40 So the Creeper Easter egg mentions how Jack Ryder says how he wished he has superpowers, again nodding The Creeper. But isn't Jack already (or was) The Creeper in the Arkhamverse? Because in Arkham City, Vicki mentions his name while interviewing Warden Sharp.
Christian Caster+ True! Or maybe he didn’t remember he was the Creeper? Like when he was the Creeper all memories of Jack is gone. And when he’s Jack all the Creeper Memories are gone?
Might sound dumb, But maybe whenever Jack is a sleep at night, he will turn into the Creeper and start causing chaos but after doing His thing he goes back to sleep. In the morning he turns back to Jack Ryder but Jack does not remember anything he did as the Creeper. I don't know, just my guess, maybe Jack isn't creeper in this universe?
Wow the jokerfied hallucinations had so much detail put into them. Bravo rocksteady! I wish more game developers put that much level of detail into games again
Kelly Johnson haha yeah me too man ! First time I ever went for the riddler trophies I felt like just leaving riddler inside his hideout but I really wanted the knightfall ending, 5 years later I’ve got all the trophies and still to this day play it. I love that game !
I litterly just ignored the Riddler trophies and just free roamed around and beating up bad guys. But it was so Godamn annoying hearing Riddler talking shit how I'm not finding the Riddler trophies so it convinced me that I had to collect all the Riddler trophies and beat his Godamn annpying ass. Finnaly, I got knight fall protoocol ending...
Never forget the hostage who took the time to drop mad truth bombs on his captors and make them look like idiots while his life was on the line. Absolute legend
For some reason I love that man-bat sighting Easter egg. It gives you the feeling that he has been above you and watching you for a long time and makes the city feel a lot more alive
***** and that's why i love it... because rocksteady cares to take the time and put all these references and easter eggs to show their love for this universe
Not only that but a lot of these haven't been discovered before, BAV actually puts effort into finding these unlike other Easter a Egg videos just compiling already found ones.
In addition to the easter eggs, I suggest to all of you to also read the Arkham stories, in the bio section. They're very short, but give insight on what happened to characters. For example, you can read that Quincy Sharp, the spirit of Arkham in Arkham Asylum, and the mayor in Arkham City, has been apprehended and put in jail after the events of Arkham City. You then learn that he NEVER was the spirit of Arkham, and was simply manipulated by Strange since the very beginning. That's where he started getting hallucinations of Amadeus Arkham and that he was the chosen one. After being put in jail, he started hallucinating Strange, his ''master'' and he told Sharp to hang himself, to seal the deal. That is how you read that Quincy Sharp killed himself after the events of Arkham City.
I do wonder though because supernaturalism does seem to exist on some level whether Arkham’s spells actually do induce some kind of insanity. You can see how joker inscribed them around Jason in flash backs.
You are by far the best YT channel dedicated to a video game series , delivering videos in very high quality. IMO , you're top 1 at this stuff. You inspired me to one day make a Hitman/Splinter Cell video game series dedicated channel. :)
58:47 When you really think about it, the third nightmare from batman: arkham asylum actually comes true in a way. With Batman strapped down as his adversary guides him down the halls of the asylum.
I'M VENGEANCE, I'M THE NIGHT, I AM BATMAN. Thank you arkham videos for the lovely journey, i have been watching you since asylum and i hope if their is a new game, but if there's no new game then i well miss you. Thank you.
Currently replaying this game and boy, it's still as impressive as it was back in 2015. Plus the insane wealth of hidden references and Easter eggs actually make it a far more successful interpretation of an extended DC universe than the actual DCEU ...
The only thing I didn't like was how the Batmobile overstayed it's welcome. I like how it was used to drive around the city, but about every 3 missions there was a giant batmobile mission that just took away from the main story.
GrabThePelts pc launch was an absolute disaster, horrible dlc, pathetic boss fights, batmobile shoved down everyone's throats, etc. there are plenty of reasons for people to not like the game to be honest
Bowser Jr. left out main bosses?? wtf freeze and bane are the only ones of the main bosses left out, there's so many Quinn joker scarecrow ivy Catwoman so many more 2 face Riddler etc etc only bad thing is I wish the story was longer and could play as night and Catwoman longer. ur outta there this is the best game there made
It had high expectations I loved it but there was a lot of disappointments. I loved the batmobile just not when u did half the missions with it and the riddler side mission was annoying and I was hoping for riddler to be apart of the main story and a lot of villains were left out that were in some previous games.
Harley:"da-na-na-na! penguin! he's short! he's fat and he talks funny! coming to a freak show near you!" penguin:"when this is over Quinn, we will have words."
The main reason why the tank battles rubbed everyone the wrong way is because you do too much in it. It wouldn't be so bad had they doled out it's abilities over the course of several games, giving us a little bit at a time instead of everything at once. However, as this is (presumably) the only Rocksteady game that's going to have the Batmobile in it, I'm glad they went all out.
A lot of the batmobile stuff felt tedious and boring as it really strayed away from the main feeling of the arkham series as a whole, but I did kinda like it. It was some fun gameplay, just not right for the arkham series. The rest of the game, however, is a different story. Sure, the rest of the game also had its flaws but I absolutely love it.
Another one that I noticed, when you enter Detective Mode, Batman's eyes are white, referencing the comics use of Batman's white eyes rather than normal eyes.
not exactly white, you can still see his eyes, they're sort of covered in the weird lense you see when he's going through the Gauntlet Comms, just brighter
@@mr.cuddlesworth3144 guys one of the first rules of the internet is "don't believe baseless rumors". It's all just community speculation and wishful thinking.
26:59 "his criminal conspiracies were exposed and he was removed from office in total disgrace. Sad!" An easter egg out of an easter egg video? nice one
Jugging by the flower I'm assuming that poison ivy might be coming back to life because since it's coming out of the ripped off piece of jacket I'd say it's her coming back to life (besides it makes perfect sense since she IS part plant after all)
I always thought the hooded guy at the intro of the game was a new citizen taking on the Anarky moniker. It'd make sense that any version of Anarky would be on board with Scarecrow turning Gotham inside-out.
I don't know if Knight was purposefully taking the piss out of characters introduced in Origins by either nerfing them, giving them weak boss battles or just having them not show up at all, but it certainly seems that way.
Theory: Man bat couldn’t live with what he did too his wife so he finds a way (I don’t know how) to reactivate the bat genetics in him to escape and then went to his old lab and used the DNA splicing to revive his wife as she bat hints the meaning of “forever my love”
At one point on a water tower I think, Joker says “Elementary, my dear batson” a reference to Sherlock Holmes and could also be a reference to Billy Batson aka Shazam
Awesome video. Came back to watch it again as I’ve recently been replaying the Arkham Series in memory of Kevin Conroy. The level of detail and sheer amount of secrets Rocksteady puts into these games is incredible, as I’d your effort to find them all. Still can’t decide all these years later if City or Knight is my favorite. Knight is a clear winner in terms of combat, graphics, and city exploration, but over usage of the bat mobile and lack of boss fights do hurt it.
Thank you BatmanArkhamVids. For your amazing content produced during the Batman Arkham series lifetime. Always professionally played, edited and uploaded promptly. We owe you. Thank you!
But it is said that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is cannon even though it doesn’t make sense because Deadshot wasn’t black in the Arkham games
31:34 Renee Montoya has a "?" at the end of her name. She takes up the mantle of and becomes the hero called The Question I love Arkham Knight it's an amazing game. I love your videos and you have my sincerest thanks for helping me out with the Riddler trophies on both Knight and City 😘
I think this video is the perfect closure for my love/hate story with this trilogy. Arkham asylum has been my first video game at age 8, then Arkham city has become my most favorite game of all time and since you released Arkham city's Easter egg video in 2011 I have been waiting for Arkham knight, then Arkham knight came out which I didn't like so much and I hated it for quite a while and was really angry but I accepted it in the end. just wanted to say that you sir are a crucial part of this entire thrill ride I had with this series, wanted to thank you personally for all the hard work and for being an unseperatable of this trilogy in my mind. hope this isn't the end but if it is, this video is the perfect way to say goodbye
I agree that Knight kinda strayed from the overall feeling of the first two games and isn't as good as them, but I still absolutely love the game. It has its positives and negatives, but mainly positives for me. I didn't like the heavy focus on battle mode stuff with the batmobile and it made the arkham knight boss battle feel boring and tedious (also the deathstroke battle) but there's also a lot about this game that I can say I love. The thing is that the first two arkham games were nearly perfect, and that makes them almost unbeatable.
This game shouldn't have focused on the Batmobile so much. They should've had parts where there were people inside of the tanks. Which would've made sense since Batman wouldn't be able to blow them up. So instead you had some predator encounters. It would've been cool throwing people out of tanks n' shit!

It’s still hard to believe that Batman did all those side missions, riddler trophies and tracks. Plus main story all in one night.
Well, it's makes more sense if you do all of that on New Game +, because then the player wouldn't waste time and all collectibles are collected.
I did it. Helped me strengthen my brain
When you think about it it’s not like the game has fast travel, and most playthroughs take less than 12 hours.

It’s Gotham what do you expect it’s ether night, raining so much it’s dark or both
The Batman: Arkham games are hands down the BEST superhero games EVER made. There's no doubt about it.
Batman is a detective not a superhero
I like to think Injustice 1 and 2 and the Arkham Games are tied for second. Of course, Superman 64 is my favorite.
Shadowman 8776 Injustice 1 wasn't that good but 2 now that they added tmnt i think it almost ties with arkham games my opinion tho
Chrissy Poo bro are you dumb that game was awful
The Monkey King Injustice 1 was good if you read the prequel comics which are really good but without that injustice 2 is the better game

Overuse of the Batmobile and lack of Boss Battles are my two major gripes with the game. Other than that, the game was great.
@@liamjaya2985 As soon as I saw Deathstroke in a freaking tank, I was pissed. It made me appreciate Arkham Origins that much more..
Grand Moff Tarkin agree
I actually liked the Batmobile stuff. It changed the dynamic of the game enough to keep it fresh and exciting. And by golly, those Cobra sections were just the best.
Same problems I have against the game.
I know this is late, but Arkham Knight is ahead of its time in modern gaming. Asylum for story telling, city for missions, Origins for joker backstory. This for Easter eggs and story driven game.
The story was filled with plot holes
@@twinzzlers but the background details are always a nice touch most games don't bother with.

I'm beyond tired of people heaping so much undeserved praise on the most relatively disappointing video game sequel since God of War 2.

She said she did it for the plants in Gotham or else they would have died

I wish that there was a thing that if you did just enough things, Superman would be seen off in the distance. Like maybe it’s gotta be a 100% before you call in the Knightfal protocol.
Just before you call it in, you stand on top of Wayne Tower and if you look I. A certain direction, perhaps towards the water or something, you see Superman.
He doesn’t say anything, he doesn’t do anything, he’s just there. He floats for a few seconds then flies off. Would have been nice.
*_Or even seeing The Flash running and you’d see his lightening at the other buildings all the way in the background that you can’t go to_*
Thomas maybe the sound of a jet flying over every 12 real life hours but not seeing a jet to be an Invisible Jet easter egg
Or just asking batman if hes got this then an awkward silence before he says okay and flies off

+TheBatPanda that is the impressive part... but makes sense since he put the video out nearly
two years after arkham knight's release
Hey BatPanda
Shafik Sayegh Big game.

It was more of a disappointment, still good and fantastic, but it could have been so much more
Arkham Knight is a great game. I don't get why so many people don't like it
GrabThePelts pc launch was an absolute disaster, horrible dlc, pathetic boss fights, batmobile shoved down everyone's throats, etc. there are plenty of reasons for people to not like the game to be honest
Bowser Jr. left out main bosses?? wtf freeze and bane are the only ones of the main bosses left out, there's so many Quinn joker scarecrow ivy Catwoman so many more 2 face Riddler etc etc only bad thing is I wish the story was longer and could play as night and Catwoman longer. ur outta there this is the best game there made
It had high expectations I loved it but there was a lot of disappointments. I loved the batmobile just not when u did half the missions with it and the riddler side mission was annoying and I was hoping for riddler to be apart of the main story and a lot of villains were left out that were in some previous games.
I agree. I finished it 4 times already on pc.
Having a temporary bad port has nothing to do with how good the actual game is

I don't understand the hate for this game despite the tank battles Rocksteady pits a lot more effort with the details and this video proves it.
Lack of boss battle
Another one that I noticed, when you enter Detective Mode, Batman's eyes are white, referencing the comics use of Batman's white eyes rather than normal eyes.
Not as white as in city and asylum... I think
not exactly white, you can still see his eyes, they're sort of covered in the weird lense you see when he's going through the Gauntlet Comms, just brighter
@Andrea De Bernardis True, but still, its a neat reference.
That was so good. So much hard work were made. Big thank you for this video!
Can u imagine if u could explore all of gotham in the game
i didnt fully understand the map was that gotham because you could see other cities around was it a section of gotham? im confused
WayneFTW oh thanks for the explanation what new game?

Same
Actually something like this happens with the riddler and even hilarious
rocksteady have best easter eggs! hands down! RESPECT
Bruce Parker that's why they should make a justice league game!
Bruce Parker also gearbox because of borderlands

Jugging by the flower I'm assuming that poison ivy might be coming back to life because since it's coming out of the ripped off piece of jacket I'd say it's her coming back to life (besides it makes perfect sense since she IS part plant after all)
She has come back in the comics, and is now a part of the Green.

Thank you for making timestamps! Can really tell that this is a well-made video with a lot of effort put into it
OMG, i ddnt know the game had so much detail in it.

We owe you. Thank you!
I watched the whole video until 2.30am last night... Zombified this morning in the office... WORTH IT
As I wait for a NEW Arkham game, I'll just indulge on some of this beautiful content.

@Proto PlayGames If your talking about Gotham Knights Sorry to burst your bubble but that’s not cannon to the Arkham franchise it’s a new universe
But it is said that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is cannon even though it doesn’t make sense because Deadshot wasn’t black in the Arkham games

I love Arkham Knight it's an amazing game. I love your videos and you have my sincerest thanks for helping me out with the Riddler trophies on both Knight and City 😘
I think this video is the perfect closure for my love/hate story with this trilogy. Arkham asylum has been my first video game at age 8, then Arkham city has become my most favorite game of all time and since you released Arkham city's Easter egg video in 2011 I have been waiting for Arkham knight, then Arkham knight came out which I didn't like so much and I hated it for quite a while and was really angry but I accepted it in the end. just wanted to say that you sir are a crucial part of this entire thrill ride I had with this series, wanted to thank you personally for all the hard work and for being an unseperatable of this trilogy in my mind. hope this isn't the end but if it is, this video is the perfect way to say goodbye
venom snake you totally just described my experience with the arkham series lol
Mr. Mister lol, guess this series had a great impact on us all
Damn I loved Arkham Knight, besides the Batmobile Fights
Rocksteady doesn't get enough credit for the time they spent filling the game with easter eggs.
this is very helpful because when i played it i didn't understand all these Easter eggs i kept finding
