There's a Q&A website where someone asked "What's your favorite Australian rock band?" and I answered "Kings of the Sun". Yep. You guys know me from 20 years ago and a certain California Hotwheels club called "Redline". I was V.P. and artist for the Redline publication. I'm the dude with the long blond hair. I still have your albums and I remember you guys fondly. Good times at the convention in 1992? 1993? I'm glad I was able to meet such cool people like you & Jeff. I'll be a fan forever.
A lesson on how bands should kick it. What a band! Great song writing, great production and more than that, even better musicianship. Rocking out like there is no tomorrow.! You can hear it in every instrument from vocal to drums! Playing it like they mean it, the way its supposed to be done!
..wish i was inside such four wheel of KOTS..down in nowhere..now or never...(guitar screaming n best drummer of The Hoads'..you guyz so awesome..God bless) Jakarta Indonesia
I have listened to “ Full Frontal Attack “ for three decades. How time flies ! This song could of easily had been on that release. Love the style so much. EBay is charging 50 bucks for the “ Resurrection “ CD. :(
Hey Cliff! I loved working with you guys and playing on this album! I still put it on as a regular car playlist whenever I want to drive somewhere fast! Ha! Hope you guys are doing good! Miss ya!
It’s great to hear from you Phil 😊👍 I love you playing on our album, you are the best bass player we ever had. PS I’ve finally stop swelling up lol Happy New Year mate , Cliff
@DMSProduktions Bob Spencer introduced Jeff to using P90's back in the early 80's , he had a beautiful old gold top Gibson Les Paul and Jeff got his influence from this. A friend bought Jeff's Les Paul back from the states in 80 just in time to start the band, its a 1976 model and yes it is the guitar your hearing on the track. All the best mate, Cliff
Not Chris, but close! It's Brian. Chris's right-hand man. I did the artwork on the Redline covers, helped run the auctions. I had really long, blond hair, like yours. I cut mine since then too. I spent so much time at Chris' house, I became family. Chris & I did go see Roth at the Rat Fink party. My 2nd time there. Now the bad news; Chris passed away several years ago after moving back to Michigan. He died at 40, as he predicted he would. Awesome you still have the Redline issue and the cars!
God Bless Chris Jarue ! I can remember being out at Malibu and Chris telling me about his family woes and he had Tom Daniels there on the phone . I was talking to him about Red Baron etc. I've built a T/Bucket since. If your on Fb, have a look on the page facebook.com/hotrodsplittdecision I can send you a photo ?
@TheNightseagull The cops couldn't catch me to give me a ticket, I had 500 horses under the bonnet. Glad you like the song, it was filmed at the start of summer, great that you can see that in the air, clear as crystal.
Dude lol...I just stumbled on this video and my jaw dropped when I saw your face in that car. You might remember me form your tour in 1989..Limelight 1970 Challenger TA..Montauk L.I.N.Y. Hamptons blowing a piston ring speeding you to your club gig. Hey man some good memories of that gig and meeting you in Montauk and you hopping in the car talking Mopar. Hope your doing well Cliff. What luck blowing a ring, guess that 5.13 rear was a little steep for a highway haul. Cheers Mate

That's an outrageous story Brian. Do you remember old fat Ron from down at Pomona selling all his collection to Strauss ? We should have bought em all up then hey ? Jeff & I contemplated that sale. He told us he got 9 grand for all those cars. I can remember him showing us a box of blister pack school buses he had & a box of blistered sky shows. How's the vintage slot car scene over there ? I've just bought a modified stingray from Hermes slot cars , its fantastic !
Incredible that I found you! Killer black Dart you have there! (do they call them Darts there?) I have a couple '69 Darts myself. 340 Swingers, a pro street 70 Cuda and a pro street 71 Duster. Plus some Chevy's. Hey, if there's anything you want regarding the HW's hobby, I'm still deep into it and can help you out. Or anything retro basically. Tomorrow I'm going to dig out all my Redline issues and take a drive down memory lane. I'll put the word out on the web about KOTS back in action. Awesome
@onwards61 Thanks for subbing me. Thanks for checking in and thanks for your compliments, I totally agree with you there !!! :-) Kings Forever..............Cliff
Am I talking to Jeru ? Of course I remember you ! I wish I had come down with you to meet Big Daddy Roth ! I still have that first publication of Redline magazine with Milk Truck on the cover & Jeff's poem on the back & your tribute to the band. If this is you Chris, please stay intouch, hope to get back over there soon with the new band. Are you on FB ? P.S. Still got all the cars, LOL
Fucking great song, and the drummer RULES!
Best part: 3:47
The most under rated band in the world. Look at the shit that has made it big time. I'm ashamed to be human
