So I don’t understand why he worships him, he was a human and transcended and I assume sadguru is also transcended, why would he be giving that person from 15000 years ago status of god ( although he says he isn’t a god)

Good question …..!! He prays to him because he believes …… that’s where he is deriving all his energies from ….. not just his but all of us …. He is the centre of the cosmos ……! It’s his mystic power that we are all living in …..!!
We all are existing from that energy …… we use it everyday …..
But how we use it is our choice …… what name we give it is our choice ……!! Sadguru sees this energy in the form of SHIVA…..and so he prays to this energy in gratitude and humility. He is not the first one …… and he will not be the last one…..!!
