Loved watching you guys work together on the hand auger every year my wife asks me why I don’t get an electric one and I tell her it’s cause I enjoy her help😂😂😂
Good Video Chris. You and Jeremy make a great team man! The area you were in was cool! The water in the tent was probably not good, at least a good warm tent! Even though the fish were small you seemed to catch several! Jeremy caught a nice size fish, yours was pretty good as well! With the melting water in the tent, did it lower the tent level, it didn't look too bad. Chris, damn man a bit scary their man dropping into the water, glad you're alright man! Good job of not panicking man in that situation! The one Trout trying to eat the other had never seen that before. You guys did a good job, I think! Look forward to your next one.
That was an awesome trek through the wilderness, to catch fish sticks..😂😅 Personally, i love goat, and usually cook it in broth. Like you said, it makes things easier, it simmers all day, and soup is always a great warmer. Love what ya'll are doing 😊
Great adventure, love it. Kudos to you and Jeramy; Good content, info, and presentation, ; Both your knowledge and expertise were demonstrated , and educational. Thanks and I don’t care what color it is, let’s be practical.
I don’t know, man I still think you should post the extended version and the edited version because me personally I like watching this as I’m falling asleep so 2.5 hours of video playing is really good for me lol
Always enjoy the content never disappointed hope you and the family had a Merry Christmas have a goodnight and stay safe Jimmy from North Attleboro Massachusetts
Merry Christmas brother, I wish you and your family good health and prosperity, long life to you, and to post many more great videos in the coming years
Been thinking about backdraft in the chimney and was going to comment and at the very end, you began talking about it. Glad you guys are okay as it can be very dangerous.
I haven't seen your channel in many many many years wow glad to see your still around I remember the first time yall killed and cooked the groundhog very cool videos
Awesome. One question, what happened to the woodobo? Sizes keep getting smaller but same price? 3 small bottles for price of the old 40oz? Last bottle was 30 something at 21oz and now over 38 for just over 15oz..... talk to Zack because this doesn't make sense for such good guys and great products.
I really like your videos and I really like if you just don't keep uploading old videos, I did watched it but it's confusing or you should mentioned somewhere, last but not least is not good for any channel to repeat uploading old videos trust me TH-cam don't like it
So when you stay on the ice in a hot tent I made a five foot stainless steel pipe with a 90 degree turn on the end then drilled a hole not threw the ice you have to leave some then chisel groves in the ice to put the pipe in and then set the stove on top to let the water out you do have to cut like six paths to the pipe and drill tiny holes in the pipe and it does work very good it helps keep you from shoveling water out all the time
How did you stop the tent from freezing on the ice? Did you put snow on the ice and the sides of the tent up on it or did you put evergreens on the ice and the sides of the tent on them, Thank you
Glad all turned out well!! I think the first Tuttle Lake video with the slogging through the creek with canoes is still my all time favorite TH-cam video. Stay safe!!
What you've just described in the thumbnail sounds extreme even for a survivalist. But these hard tests of the self just make you stronger. Or give you pneumonia like George Washington.
@TheWoodedBeardsman sir. I'm an avid ice fisherman I agree with your statement but previous experiences have taught me to not shovel the snow. Just trying to help. I've never had to bail out a house like i seen you guys do.

It's very unusual to find any place flat, or clear to pitch a tent anywhere even remotely close to the lake, and the lake is where the food is, and where we want to spend most of our time fishing.
Wooded Beardman what up!! Been a follower for a while, love your guidance with your son!! You are a great father and I am proud of you! Keep up the videos brother ☝️, and I’ll keep hitting that thumbs up and enjoy watching them! Keep on keep’N on brother ☝️ god bless I like when you two do videos together, cherish yalls friendship I’m glad y’all have it!
I absolutely love your channel and everything I have seen. But I have to scream at the top of my lungs brother…”That was not the outdoor boys recipe!!!! They have measured ingredients and have been proofed. Yours was flour lump bread with burn. lol the outdoor boys bread is more like Papa John’s dough. Every time! lol I demand lol 😂 that you go back to the drawing board on that one and make it how he does
Being so far out. During your trips do you ever encounter wolves or bears? I know it’s winter so bears are probably hibernating. I know Canada has far stricter gun laws but as an American I would never go out without a rifle.

Merry Christmas brother, I wish you and your family good health and prosperity, long life to you, and to post many more great videos in the coming years
I miss these videos for real.
Ya that was a great trip you guys did to Puddle Lake with the boats...
Very nice my dear friend 👍🏻❤️
Been thinking about backdraft in the chimney and was going to comment and at the very end, you began talking about it. Glad you guys are okay as it can be very dangerous.
Great video 👍
I love seeing these reshares. Always worth another watch when it comes to challenges
Love from Bangladesh wooded beardsman❤
I haven't seen your channel in many many many years wow glad to see your still around I remember the first time yall killed and cooked the groundhog very cool videos
absolute love the shows you guys make together, keep up the great work! fun and educational
Very nice video I like long video that nice sharing
Really good video. Falling through the ice is very serious. Happened to me when I was 10 years old. I made it home and learned to be more aware.
I find putting spruce bows or any evergreen bows in a hole then covering with loose snow keeps them holes from freezing! Love the old vid !!!
I love what you do
Goat meat besides duck my favourite.🤙
I don't know where puddle lake is but I know what it is. Glad you got some fish!
29:59 SQUIRELL! !!!! Runs off barking and chasing nothing...

13:11 Dont leave Jerid with your goats, folks 🐑🐑
Dang that was lucky Beardsman, doggone near lost a $450 handcart.
you owe your life to Jeremy😂
Rule of thumb chimney should be 6 to 8 inches above the tent peek also helps by slowing embers down from roof materials.
I guess there is always a bright side..too cold for bugs to bite!
I’m gonna shave this dudes beard if i dnt get new content soon😂
Full freaking stop!
No I seen this before he repost it
U guys should go back there soon, it’s been too long.
I would love to see Chris do this trip again tbh even if it was about the same content
That's one mean polar bear challenge!
Awesome and outstanding content as always. Thanks for sharing and taking us along.
Any other trout fisherman cringing at those tiny brookies they kept? 😂
Love and support you guys but when are you both gonna go on the show "Alone"? I'd really like to see your skills in a real situation.
I really like your videos and I really like if you just don't keep uploading old videos, I did watched it but it's confusing or you should mentioned somewhere, last but not least is not good for any channel to repeat uploading old videos trust me TH-cam don't like it
lol ice is in let’s go fishing
So when you stay on the ice in a hot tent I made a five foot stainless steel pipe with a 90 degree turn on the end then drilled a hole not threw the ice you have to leave some then chisel groves in the ice to put the pipe in and then set the stove on top to let the water out you do have to cut like six paths to the pipe and drill tiny holes in the pipe and it does work very good it helps keep you from shoveling water out all the time
It would be funny if we caught one right away
How did you stop the tent from freezing on the ice? Did you put snow on the ice and the sides of the tent up on it or did you put evergreens on the ice and the sides of the tent on them, Thank you
If you keep it warm enough on the inside, and don't let it freeze. Or you'd have to move it every day or so, as you melt the top layer of ice.
@@TheWoodedBeardsman Thank you You can't beat a snow trekker tent
How is it you always manage to fall through the ice by shore.
Glad all turned out well!! I think the first Tuttle Lake video with the slogging through the creek with canoes is still my all time favorite TH-cam video. Stay safe!!
602nd like for the show.
When make stew brown the meat first with oil then the vegetables then water
Next time don't shovel the snow off the lake shovel snow into the tent it will soak up the water and put you above the water so it runs away from you
It won't. It will melt faster than the ice would.
@@TheWoodedBeardsman have you tried it
Just got hit with 2 storms here in new-brunswick in a week with a total of 40 cm or so, gonna find myself some snowshoes pretty soon 😅
You must be up north Saint John here got about 20 cm
@FrankSmith-kg3dh moncton region, the first storm we got like 25 and then christmas eve another 15 or so
@@catherine.g_16 you guys always get hit alot harder then us
What you've just described in the thumbnail sounds extreme even for a survivalist. But these hard tests of the self just make you stronger. Or give you pneumonia like George Washington.
do u think u and jeremy are going back to pudel lake this year? .. i whis i could join you out there ! i loved this seris.
I think it would be more interesting to explore a new place tbh.
@@TheWoodedBeardsman thats true :)
Yep this video is like a year or 2 old
Is raw slog good? Never had it, dont even think ive had it cooked.
Chris, I'm glad that you were okay. Great video! I was getting cold just watching you shiver. Especially when the wind started blowing ❤❤
19:00 look another minnow lol
Instead of shoveling the snow, pack it down. It'll last a bit longer. Slush is better then water... right?
Slush turns to water faster than ice.
@TheWoodedBeardsman sir. I'm an avid ice fisherman I agree with your statement but previous experiences have taught me to not shovel the snow. Just trying to help. I've never had to bail out a house like i seen you guys do.
U can put snow over the fishing holes or the tree bowls. An it won't freeze the hole figured ud might know that
Bro never tags Jeremys channel in the description its sad
💜👌
Good ole weekend warriors. lol
Good to see u guys back together doin stuff 8)

Is there a reason why you pitched your tent on the ice, would it not have been better setting the tent up on banks of the lake.
It's very unusual to find any place flat, or clear to pitch a tent anywhere even remotely close to the lake, and the lake is where the food is, and where we want to spend most of our time fishing.
Better to watch someone else do this, then doing it myself. Well done 👊

30 seconds in, already a good video.
"Who brings goat when you're winter camping"? "We do". HAHA! That was funny.
That's why I hate NJ, I just start to get used to the extreme cold/heat then it changes....

Chris is this new?
That’s what I’m trying to figure out every video
Not new I guess, dude just don't know what to do with this channel anymore...;/
I quess it is new as the title doesn’t say “supercut”. Not 100% sure though…
It's a re-upload from years ago
Its from 6 years ago, the exact same video just popped out when i was scrolling through youtube
No, maybe to you or other peoples but it’d be nice to be out there than behind a TV
Being so far out. During your trips do you ever encounter wolves or bears? I know it’s winter so bears are probably hibernating. I know Canada has far stricter gun laws but as an American I would never go out without a rifle.
I have never seen a wolf. We come across the odd bear, but they run away as fast as they appear.
I swear I've seen this video before
I cut it back from 2.5 hrs to 45 mins.
BUILDING YOURSELF A CAN OF SARDINES TO EAT?
why was bro spiting on the line?
Free up the guides from ice.
