Got my pre order in for a couple the first day they were available, one to crack and one for the bookshelf. I really think theres an opportunity for wizards to appeal to the sealed product collectors with unique packaging ideas. They certainly got me to jump
The main reason it will be pricey is because they put one of each promo in. So folks who want all 3 will need multiples or buy singles. I don't think it will reach Compleat levels because of the lack of special lands and the relatively poor value of the actual promo cards, but it will be high.
I ordered 4. The FLGS I ordered through got allocated 0. So I got none. They wouldn't flop if they could be bought at anything other than scalper prices.
How can you even make a video asking if the nightmare bundle is a flop when A) It hasn't even released yet, and B) Every TCG shop i go to in my city has told me they've sold out their PO's or barely been allocated enough to the point that they are bartering with other stores for them because of the high demand. This title is super clickbaity
A product can flop for reasons other than financial, the lack of stock will cause price to bloom on secondary and then I'm going to predict few people will actually want to buy the box and will just try to get promo singles.
I got the Bundle after getting the Box set, I got tons of good and rare cards and it was a way way BETTER deal then buying individual boosters. To start with, for sure worth it!
I preordered 2 collectors edition lord of the rings gift bundles for $80. They each had guaranteed promos, a collectors pack, regular packs and a beautiful foiled box. I don’t understand the hype behind this one.
I’m excited for it. I pre ordered mine when it was announced and it’s actually my first pre order cause no matter what I got fun cards, cool dice, and a bunch of packs. It was a better deal than the regular bundle overall
I was hoping it would be worth it but nah. Fyi its all a packaging shuffle. In the old days you would get a equal chance in a booster at super valuable foil. Now all those chase cards have been move to collectors…just to charge us more money. Wotc is shameless
I pre ordered some for 68 bucks each. I like the box design and I think the product is unique enough to appreciate in value in the long term. Where I am at they are up to around 81 $ at the moment.
I dont personally think its worth the price. Collectors are down to $210 a box, thats $35 for the 2 collector's packs leaving the rest of the cost for 6 play boosters and a promo card, even at $75 it hink you are overpaying. At $100+ its a huge overpay.
Its... Not out yet? By definition I'd say it's too early to determine if it's a "flop", unless you got preorder stats. Weird clickbait video (at least the title)
Funny thing about giant companies is that they usually only produce products that sell. Based of WOTC profits you are not only wrong but completely incorrect

Glad I got 3 locked in at $80 on Amazon a month ago
If the special poster cards are $15 each it’s worth it big time.
They are pre-order prices at $50-70. Probably because not many are getting ordered. Which will be good for card price.
Yeah if that holds will def help the value! Thanks for watching ❤️
@@punk6119 where do you see them anywhere close to that? I paid $85 and thought it was a deal.
@@PaulSoileau-g3sAmazon is 77 rn
@@punk6119 Pre-order prices are absolutely worthless and only suckers will buy into them

These are around 90 usd in my area, do you think that’s a good deal?
That's seems the average.

Crazy that people are still buying these for over $100 when they are readily available for $80 if you’re willing to look a bit.

The best cards I get always come in a prerelease and bundle. Play boxes suck.

I considered getting one but eh I have too many cards as it is. Perhaps if they lowered the prices across the board I’d be up for buying some sealed.

I don't know about store prices feel msrp is around 80-90$ and 70-80€/£ the supply is good abd this not beeing over 200$ is a good thing.
I've seen the ones open we're fire 🔥
Let’s gooo! Glad you’re hitting big! 💪
@@HometownTcgMy friend got that Meathook Massacre 2. I personally don’t like the flavor of the set but my first draft of it was pretty fun
I was planning on skipping this one, then I got one online for 70 dollars online.
9:37 minutes of not checking or opening the product
The product that as of the recording of this video is not released yet?
So how can a product that hasn’t even released yet be a flop?
@@HometownTcgthis is not a proper way to respond to viewers’ concern. What a snobby dick.
I can get these in Australia all day for $75 USD
The entitled expectations of MTG players these days are cringe
brother, mine hasnt arrived yet, and its a flop already???!?!?!? also why tf they made a pre-releae of the new set alreaady"!?!??!? wtfffffff
Lmao I’m actually quite positive about the product - I think you’ll enjoy it!
Don't open it and you'll be fine
nightmare bundle is perfect with 6 play boosters for a sealed draft with some friends if you can get them to go and buy 6 packs for themselves :)
Sure, if you want to play $100 sealed.
I got mine for like 75$ with shipping so picked up a couple , I think for those costs it’s a sure win but I will see.
Nice price! Good luck with your pulls ❤️
Preordered One For $100, Just Picked One Up At A Store For $65
Did you pull anything good
@ph8808 not really even from the collector packs, did get an extended art hauntwoods and I do like the damn and dice.
I bought 3 and they fucking rule. Different strokes for different folks. If you don’t want it dont buy it duhhhh lol
I preordered 2. 79.99 I thought they got special basic lands like the completed bundles...
Even without the special lands that’s a good price at least!
I wanted one until I saw how gimmicky and cheesy the set was. Good move to cancel my preorder.
Should have been Bloomburrow
To get a special bundle?
That hair today is more K-pop than normal… but the beard hmmm
Not a fan of the beard?
More messy than normal but your hair is perfect
Amazon had preorders a couple months ago for $50
Bezos strikes again!
I only ever saw them at preorder for $73.99 at the lowest. The regular bundle was at $49.
They don't always honor pre-order prices. Probably gone up since price climbed.
No chance. You are thinking of the regular bundle.
I preordered 2 of them just to support WOTC
Good luck on your pulls!
Lmao. Small indie company called WOTC.
meow
I honestly have no idea how to react to this 🤣🤣🤣
nobody buys the bundles. MTG has become a singles format. There are quite a few excellent cards in Duskmourne
I don’t think that’s true for the special bundles like the nightmare and complete tho! They are selling pretty well.
My kids love them, mostly for the boxes and add-ins. Makes for a fuller experience for them. I don’t buy them for my self, but do as gifts.
Wrong opinion is wrong

I dunno, they havent even shipped and they have great value and exclusive cards... this isnt a regular bundle
