They are still excavating the high corner of the site to level it. That corner has the largest quantity of soil to move and will seem to take longer. Also, you can see a row of manholes on this side of the excavators and I believe that a large deep storm water drain pipe has been installed and is in the process of being backfilled. The water trucks are there to moisten the soil to get the moisture content near optimum for compaction. There may be almost another week of earth moving to excavate the high corner.

Would you consider adding arrows pointing to where you narrate during your fly-bys? I don't know half of what you describe because I don't have the knowledge and it would be super helpful to see what it is your talking about or describing. That's for us non-construction types. If past Giga factory constructions are any indication expect initial Semis coming out of this factory in 9-10 months. The pace of past construction has been amazing. It will be most interesting for GF Nevada.
Upon closer inspection, I can see that the storm drain work has made pretty good progress. You can see a pipe coming down to the wash where storm water will be released into the wash. In additon, you can see that at the far northwest corner of the site, they have cut into Milan and tied into the electrical utility.
Is Tesla not moving fast on this project due to the battery shortage? Hopefully this will accelerate as the new Panasonic battery plant in DeSoto, KS comes on-line next year.
Based on teh fact that there is no facility, how long do you think it will take until real mass-production os Semi's will occur. IS 2026 realistic or even later than that?

Based on past GF construction, I’d say no later than 1st qtr 2025, more likely late 4th Qtr 2024, ie 9-10 months.
