@@Anonomus333 because it is the first mm300 which is smaller and slimmer than all the iterations before. i also find it more elegant becauae of the slimmer bezel and bigger dial
@@harrykuo2573 dunno. never had a 62mas. but i have a slim 6.75 inch wrist and it wears very comfortable. i wear it on an erikas original mn strap which gives it a perfect snug fit!
I really like the popcorn style dial texture, the symmetric lume, and the 430 date - I know some people dont, but it's in the right position if you prefer a clean lumed dial in low light.
If its coated in titanium carbide like many seiko bezels are... that IS a type of ceramic which actually is harder than most other ceramics used for bezels.
I've been watching every video I can about this watch and the white version and I've only seen a single example with a perfectly aligned bezel. The one in this video is pretty badly misaligned and it's a sample model which you would think Seiko would make sure was perfect. I really want this watch but it's an absolute gamble buying it online. This is inexcusable.
@@pk1342 thank you so much, I appreciate your time and answer. Although it does physically look like the spb383J1 I see it’s better made. I wish I could’ve bought this one first.

i have it since 2 weeks and it is the best seiko i ever got. will never flip this, just love it!

Wow. It looks sleek. The dimensions are excellent.
Very nice! Thanks as always for the review!

Love that dial. Great vids bro!
Good video.
Does this one have the screw in crown tube like the SLA055 and SLA057? Thnx
great size on this one, thanks for the review! any chance you can review the white dial version SLA077?
Great video- and what a looker!

Why not Titanium Nitride you think?
@@Anonomus333 I think the bezels of the marine masters are Ti Carbide but even better if it's nitride as that's even harder!
Won't shatter like normal ceramic
Nice, I'm between this and GMT diver, whats the winner in real life?
Hmmm... that fanboi USD $2900 MSRP price tho?! I'm a Seiko Prospex fanboi but not that at that price! :)
For a grand cheaper than a Tudor. Id take this.

Is the SLA079 case hard coated or the ever brilliant steel, because Seiko site says only stainless steel?
I think it's regular stainless steel
@EricSloferwatchreviews If it is regular steel that means It could be polished and restored after heavy use, which is a plus for me
This looks very similar to the Seiko gmt SPB383J1, what are the differences?
No GMT
8L35 movement - more accurate 4hz, grand Seiko based caliber
Better finishing to everything
Better QC
Better Lume

@@R2-SO don't be ashamed. The mm200 GMT is a fantastic watch and imo punches well above it's weight. They look like >$3k watches
@@pk1342 cheers mate, your answer gives me a sense of positivity, I thought I’ve made a bad choice after seeing this one. Thank you!
Such a stunning looking watch. Just wish Seiko would fix the clasps.
It's not ceramic. Pathetic clasp. Dot markers way too small. No monobloc case. Not a professional saturation diver.
😂
