I bought a steelseries headset in 2016 after having been through several very poorly made turtle beach headsets. Just today I was bagging to a friend about how durable and great this headset has been and now I notice that one of the speakers is coming off the frame. This has been one of the best quality headsets I have owned and I will definitely be buying another set.
I love Arctis 5, lasted me 4 years while traveling with them (admittedly I always packed them in my laptop bag or on my head/neck so there wasn't really a way to break them but still). They still work but the cable is dead, and it costs a lot in my region so I'm probably gonna just switch to Arctis 9 (the fact that you can be connected both to your phone and computer at the same time is absolutely awesome. I heard some people don't like how non-pro arctis sounds but it's mostly because of weak bass, which is not important because it's the balanced sound that matters the most.
you're not gonna belive this but even my arctis 5 which i bought in 2019 before the pendemic lasted 4 years and still doing good btw its just that the wire is getting ripped little by little and will probably be dead in like 2-3 months and im looking for a similar headset with threaded wires
I have an arctis 9x and on my pc i will be watching youtube with very clear sound but when i join a discord call with the video still playing the quality of the video gets worse. Does anyone know which of these headphones will not have that problem?
Irretates the hell out of me that you have a child viewing the headsets as no kid from that age would be able to afford let alone know any knowledge about the sound quality of the headphones
I’ve had them 2 years ago. Only lasted a year. By far best fuckin headphones especially for fps games. The only issue I recommend is DO NOT fold the headphones. They will eventually break even if you’re careful. Just leave them positioned as is don’t turn the earphones in anyway
i got mine 2 weeks ago it’s a good headset but yes u will get issues not worth it tbh bc u won’t be ale to turn it on or charge it ur gonna have to use a needle to reset it
@@PowerHannes69 I have researched since this comment and yes they do have delay. Don’t buy wireless headsets for fps games especially Rainbow Six Siege.
@@samgray3 got a Astro A50 for R6 and it worked fine for 2 till i got a series s and now i can’t use i anymore cause the new xbox doesn’t have an audio output

That doesn’t sound like a headset problem. That seems like a software problem.

@@samgray3 i use the arctis 7 for 1 year and dont have any delay. just put the dongle close to ur headset.
I have the 9x and have never had a delay issue. I play siege and apex competitively and these are my favorites by far
