Only just seen this video and it made me so happy! As someone born and bred in Derbyshire it's so nice having people come and see some of my favourite places from where I live! Also wanted to say good luck with your British council assistantship :) as a fellow language student I am moving out to Germany this month to work as a language assistant for the British Council too, so exciting!
The Lake District is beautiful! I definitely want to go there at some point. But the Peak District was great, I really liked the little villages and towns.

In the peak district all roads lead to big town Sheffield!
Buxton reminds me of llandrindod wells in how its laid out with its chalybeate spring same as at llandrindod!

Me and my family are more of a Lake District family but this video makes me want to visit some of these places at some point :)
