Chassis dyno numbers are kinda useless with a torque converter, especially a non lock up converter. A great tuning tool but thats it. My car has a turbo 400 behind a 540 bbc. Ive had it on a hub dyno once just for nitrous tuning. But a 5000 stall seems a bit much. Im sure that motor makes peak torque just past 3500. So maybe a 4000 stall at the most. My motor peaks at 3400-3450 and the coverter stalls around 3600-3700. Car weighs 3700 lbs without a driver and has been a 1.29 60ft on motor on a 275 et street R. But all that aside, the viper is dope af. Going th400 was an A++ move.
Only thing is wrong with those cars is the T top or convertibles. a friend and her man of a family member rest in peace to both and my cousin. My little cousin past away on i95 in miami in a car accident and her friend and boyfriend attended her funeral and after the funeral going home her boyfriend reckedout the viper st10 with the T top and it fkg plit in 2 separate peaces in Hollywood Florida, a red one.. i don't know i feel all cars that ate T top gots a weak way to split especially those vipers .. it's a few times it has happened to those cars ..
This thing needs a Magnuson supercharger!! It sounds insane though!!!
