I've been waiting for something like this for 20 years... since the 18 Wheels of Steel Across America days. The Logitech g27 was great, but this looks amazing.
I know that no one will believe me this, because it scares me to realise it, but LITERALLY one day before this video popped in my YT home screen as suggested, I was at work and wondering / thinking back to how there is no steering wheels / sim rigs with multifunctional stalk and how the Moza TSW truck wheel could use one (well two or more would be better ) and why Thrustmaster never did such thing - this looks really interesting imho.
The day SCS spends time optimizing graphics and game stability instead of making maps and maps and maps, I will buy the whole kit because it looks fantastic
it is a huge benefit for the end user that SCS spent time with these guys to develop this. What better from designing a controller to give you the experience as it was meant to be from it's developer. Maps ans maps and maps will always come at an extra peice of course, since SCS does not want to abandon the old cow that still gives milk
I’d say the game is reasonably well optimized and is very stable. I’ve played it on DIY gaming rig (R9 5950x, RTX3080) my Dell G7 7500 laptop (i9 10855h, RTX2070maxQ), both running Windows 11pro, and I haven’t experienced a single issue. I’ve also streamed it from my media box (R5 3800x, RTX3050 8GB) running Windows 10, via Steam streaming to my AppleTV, and the only issue I’ve experienced is one instance where the stream was interrupted, and I’m pretty sure that was a Valve problem, not SCS. Maybe you have an issue somewhere else if you’re having stability issues. For the 18 months I’ve had the game, I’ve not had stability issues, and honestly you can play it on pretty potato level hardware.
If this was direct wheel drive or had a version on this technology... ohh boy. However, this product alone, as it is, is awesome. Just what I need for trucking. Beautiful. Price seems good.

So, there is a retarder, the wheel rotation angle is 1800 degrees, and the blinking method returns to the original position rather than being fixed, right?
It looks impressive with a lot of features. On the other hand, a gear driven force feedback wheel in 2024 is just as impressively cheap - especialy for the announced price of 600 USD / 800 CAD.
