The Chinese, great respect for their perseverance and new technology, did it again. Keep up the good works in making the world a better place. Greetings from the Netherlands 😊
Now the shoe is on the other foot. The US and EU are the laggards in battery development and production. As such, they cannot compete with Chinese EV companies, especially BYD. 1000 km and 5 minute charging tmes to two thirds capacity sounds like music to the naysayers and they can no longer resist buying an EV.. For US and EU automakers, their only hope is they can buy batteries from either BYD or CATL. Even the Japanese are aligning with the Chinese as Toyota is using BYD's hybrid system. Japanese automakers are getting skinned alive in their ICE sales and compared to the Chinese, they and the US/EU automakers are fighting to survive.
Lol, wishful thinking, technology is changing so fast it is anyone's game right now, I have heard of some real technological advances in the UK. and other countries. Don't get too excited about China when others are vastly superior when it comes to cars.
What will be interesting is how other manufacturers Compete with BYD. Will they develop better batteries and motors to enable longer range. Will we see in the next few years real solid state batteries or something better. Will we see solar cells implanted in the body? I am sure there will be much innovation from all manufacturers.
If the range double's on many EV's in the future all you need is destination charging. So many of these overpriced chargers on the motorways in the UK will be gone .Or not?
Even the first generation blade battery was highly unlikely to catch fire, and passed all industry tests with flying colours - including the nail penetration test during which the battery barely even got warm! Blade 2 is has additional safety features. Where BYD cars have caught fire, it has almost always been the hybrid versions or else nothing to do with the battery.
O chinês tem aprender a fazer carro primeiro, uma motocicleta, essa pirataria de copiar tecnologia, clonar modelos, e afirmar que são melhores, isso piora a imagem que nunca foi boa...

The Chinese are lead by a despot …hardly working to making the world a better place

The golden battery used by Geely is short blade. CATL condensate short blade is nearly 500 wh /kg. So the race is on, and BYD needs to catch up.
BYD Blade Battery V1 was 4 years ago, V2 is only catching up the competition, but not more.
Imagine that in the Shark....range will double

Thank you AI, but you did not mention any metals or chemistry. Why?
Oh, I know, it made the BYD C-suite unhappy.

Was about to buy a byd before i saw this videoo. Ill wait now thx you
When you leave, there will be three other people moving up in the waiting line
Lol maybe in China, with tarrifs chines evs are just too expensive, and they come from China which is a problem to most of the world.
Hate to break it to you, but the world is NOT "shocked."
The "world" described here is the West. 😂😂😂😂
Look at yourself
You look shocked out of humanity
Commenting here means you were already shocked 😁
Danish people think Chinese product is second hand quality 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@Vladimirleninputin
That because Danish people don't produce anything.

190 W/kg ? Its not much ,its les then Liion !
I miss those comments...Chinese steal
👍🏼🇨🇳
How many will catch fire like other Chinese batteries.
