PCB Design Tutorial Start to Finish

Here are some shortcuts I used throughout the video:
[ - rotate left
] - rotate right
f - change tracing elbow (SCH and PCB)
w - cycle through preferred trace widths (PCB)
Also for those who are curious, at 03:20, when I imported other rules, I did so by selecting the ruleset and copy pasting it across a different flux instance: CTRL+C,CTRL+V.

do you know when the AI will be able to create the PCB based on the shematic form ...
and create the best path and placement for each component ?
depend of the complexity of the shape that need to fit in or optimized the best way to placed everything ... it could be great to have the help of AI to do it ...
i'm about to learn it anyway, but it could be a great help to finish complex project !

Hi! It will yes, but that is not a problem by itself. It depends on the signal that will be running through the trace.

One thing I'd love to know is what makes a Power Net Portal different from a standard Net Portal. So far as I can tell, it's just a Net Portal with a T symbol instead of a line.

Hey there, there's no difference! It's just a different symbol for schematic clarity.

@@buildwithflux thanks for the clarification. I strongly encourage you to *say* that somewhere, whether it's in the onboarding or on the item itself. Figuring this exact kind of thing out adds a surprising amount of cognitive overhead to learning the platform. You don't want it to be easy for people to feel like they don't get it, or are doing something wrong.
