Thank you for explaining this! I am training at f45 atm but am thinking about joining my local crossfit too!

I pulled my back several times doing CrossFit probably due to several injuries (e.g. back, shoulder, knee) I sustained while a competitive snowboarding. F45 is a good compromise and i have yet to injure myself.

You never touched on risk of injury lol - I've done both for a few years (CrossFit 2009-2011, F45 current) and the risk of injury in CrossFit has to be at least 10x that of F45. Doing highly complex Olympic lifts as a race against other people is just not a good idea. As people age and get older - I would recommend F45 to like 99% of my friends instead of Crossfit.

I think it's a really good point to be fair. I just don't have any solid data on it to speak about, which makes it a trickier topic to talk about, but it's a really important consideration for sure :)

F45 is definitely not going to give you amazing results

There are literally 1,000’s of amazing body transformations from F45 all over the internet from all age groups. What are you basing that off ?

@@peter_day I'm more of a shy and awkward type of person and have been training at F45 for almost 3 years now. I tried Crossfit before but I felt very anxious. Of course, the different gym has diff vibes. It's purely my own experience nothing against any type of exercise.

like 99% of people who try crossfit end up quitting. Risk of injury is too high, and spending 1 -1.5 hours away from home for a workout that you can finish in 5 minutes is just not worth it.

Great explanation, I'm still fuzzy about which of the two to join. If only I had the money, I'd join both, but that would be overdoing it.
