Jersey Coastguard cut off by incoming tides at Elizabeth Castle

A spring tide can rise one metre every 20 minutes, so it's easy to get caught out by the rising tide. Before you head out, follow the simple rules in this video.
Ensure you check the tide times and weather forecast and always let someone know what time you’re expecting to return.
If you get in trouble, dial 999 and ask for Jersey Coastguard who will send help.
