such a lively light-hearted yet inspirational piece...i could understand how you almost have to mind read the director and producer without even knowing them because it's as much their interpretation as yours
You're very kind. Yes it's a very subjective thing when a director/showrunner chooses a composer. All we can do is our best and hope we get the job. Thank you for listening!
Thanks! I use a lot of different libraries - especially for strings. I use Cinebrass Pro as my goto brass library. And i like a couple different rooms from MIR for reverb.
Just had to comment, I know how horrible it is to be rejected by, let's face it, often tone deaf producers. So many great chord changes in this, my personal favourites from 2:40 and from 3:17! I don't know what music they chose over this but imho there's no way it could have been better.
Thanks for your kind words! It's part of the job and builds character, but it always stinks to not get a gig. All the submissions are usually at a high level and sometimes it just comes down to an intangible feeling the show runners/producers get from a certain composer.
To me it sounds more like Jerry Goldsmith with a little bit of James Horner, than John Williams. Other people may disagree and that's fine. Nice piece though, don't know why it was rejected? Good work! I'd be proud too! 😀👍
Very nice; their loss!
Thanks!
Loved it‼️ I love a GREAT well placed GLISS!!!!! :) 🔥🔥🔥🫵
Thanks! I like a good gliss, too.
what a great job ! if I had to hire someone to do the music for a project I would hire you !
Thanks! I appreciate that!

Sounds fantastic! Lots of Star Trek influence in there too!
Thanks!
Awesome work! Got a few Star Trek vibes too. Been following a few of your Chord of the week videos also. Thanks for expanding my musical brain a bit!
Thanks! Definitely some ST vibes in there. Thank you for your support!
Awesome music! We need the nerdy details... the sample libraries, your reverbs and all that... maybe a rundown of the mockup / score? :)
