Can anyone explain why the triangle in the SR circuit is negative edge trigger? Why is it necessary?
@@yonghuiliew8066 negative edge trigger is indicated with that triangle and bubble. Edge triggering is necessary to handle racing condition.
@@drj9403 if it is positive trigger, what would be expected? 1 1 not used case ??

Didn't understand why the don't care conditions are ignored while making pairs because in previous videos a pair consisting of 1 & Don't Care was considered

sir why you have not considered the don't care condition in K-map for finding S and R ? If don't care is considered then S=Qn'J+JK' and R=QnK+J'K
you only consider using the don't care x as 1 if you need it for a better simplification, otherwise you do not consider using it

I can also take one pair with don't care. Y did you not consider don't care (1 x) pair along with the usual 1 1 pair
At the final step while constructing the circuit...at the flip flop diagram...the output of the J K flip flop was written Qn...but at the table...we saw the output is Qn+1....this seems confusing to me....

Why aren't we taking the don't care terms for k'map ..as we are deriving the kmap by means of minterm so the don't care terms should be treated as 1 ..as you taught in kmap lectures
Because we can make the possible combinations with 1 so the don't care terms are not needed .....if any situation arises where we can't make a possible combination with only 1 then don't care terms are included
why dont we pair up the dont care conditions with one in the k map

why you skipped the pairing of dont care in the k map to find the expression for j and k??
Because your main aim is to pair the 1s. So if you can do it without using don't cares, it is allowed. Don't care pairing is used to help with pairing of the 1s.
