This is the story of a man named Dawko. Who, every day, of every week, of every month of every year; sits down infront of his computer. Turns on his recording program. And plays video games infront of a camera.
My best advice for this game is to try to avoid spoilers as much as possible and just play it your own way. I hope you have fun if you decide to keep going with it,
I just love that during his first ever walkthrough he went for the broom closet. Like he decided to follow the narrator’s story by turning left, but then broke at the closet. But seriously, what is it with the broom closet? Are people entering it just to upset the narrator?
Narrator: And Stanley was happy. Dawko: *Was he?* Also, Dawko. Thank you for doing a video on this as soon as I saw this I clicked it. I love this game so much!
After the confusion ending, there’s a little Easter egg in the next run. You actually CAN find the Line(tm), but you can only see it through a window, and can’t actually follow it.
2:29 Dawko: I wouldn't be able to survive Stanley's job for even an hour. I would not be able to do it oh but you have, Dawko... In fact you are doing it r̵i̸g̷h̷t̷ N̵͔̞͋̅̏O̶̹͙͔̐W̶̨̼̼͂̎
God I adore the Confusion Ending because of how confused it makes people on their first playthrough after the final restart. Everybody expects the ending to go on for a few more restarts and people keep trying to find the line, and it takes them a few moments to realize that the jarring beep *was* the ending. This game is so well written
Dawko: “how can someone be happy pressing buttons for years?” Also Dawko: *built his entire channel playing games that are mostly about pressing buttons*
Dawko "How could anyone be happy with a job just pressing buttons" Also Dawko plays games for a living thus pressings buttons on a monitor the game telling him what buttons to push how long to push them and in what order and is happy with said job
You should absolutely turn this into a serie! This game will blow your mind so much, and each time you go on a new path, it will blow your mind even more!
the narrator constantly saying you are free but still trying to control you is part of the perfect metaphor the way the story of this game and it's meta commentary and how the player plays all fits together amazingly playing this game for the first time and the misterious disappearance of all Stanley's coworkers disobeying the narrator, frustration with linear stories, and Stanley escaping control obeying the narrator, previously played games, and Stanley's job
Love how at 31:35 dawko doesnt notice the mind bending illusion of LUCK that he got the extended hallway feature/easter egg kinda thing. cause that hallway only appears on chance when following the line. on a usual walkthrough you go through the normal small room and not that hallway from nowhere.
19:23 this game has been out for 9 years, I've seen every ending to both the first release and the half-life mod, and even now in the Ultra Deluxe version I've seen almost all the new content, and somehow I've never seen this line of dialogue. What.
Dawko: "Even the game hinted on secrets! I need to find the lore!!" The game: "Look, Stanley, this is yellow line on the floor! Quick! Let's follow it with upbeat music!!"
I love how the Devs made the narrator like- annoyed when Dawko went into the broom closet and stuff like that~ XD Also, I love these kinda' story-games I guess, with a narrator and stuff, they're cool.
If you do keep playing this, be creative with your choices, even if you think that they would break the game. The developers were very thorough in making endings for the possible choices.
Oh my god, this game has literally every single thing the same as my favourite game called "Superliminal", except for the gameplay, storyline and stuff!!! No way haha. I can tell you all 29 literal things in common of eachother in both of the games! I'm gonna playthrough this now and later speedrun it!
stanley walked in a room there are animatronics in,then a animatronic directly looked at him, stanley was scared so he walked through the door he came,ow...the door was closed, looks like stanleys have to stay with animatronics until someone came to open the pizzeria.
I would like nothing more than to have stanley's job. It's a paycheck that demands nothing from it's employee's, your locked in a room for your whole shift so no work-place harassment of any kind or the boss leaning over you shoulder. I have anxiety, disability, and panic. So a simple mind-numbing job like that is perfect if all you want out of it is a simple paycheck. You gotta remember, not everyone has happy jobs like being a youtuber. Some of us are put through hell just so we have a place to sleep at night. Just being bored? That's a DREAM of a job when you compare the alternative!
Glad to see you finally play this!!! Can’t wait to watch the video when I get home! It’s a gaming masterpiece, the magnum opus of its genre… Edit: WAIT HOLD UP ITS A SEQUEL?!?!?!?!

Never clicked on a notification so quickly in my life, ready to see an awesome reaction from this. Absolutely loved playing The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe.
I love this game so much! Not just the joy of discovering all the various paths, but watching somebody else experience it for the first time is just phenomenal fun! Thanks for uploading your reaction.
Seeing you experience this for the first time in 2022 is so special! It’s such a classic piece of internet history that I can’t imagine never experiencing it until now! Hope you are having LOTS OF FUN with it :)
Bro! This is so nice! This game was amazing when it first came out and still holds up in its own way. The true father of all the current choice based games! You will love it! Also, when reading the website a while back when they were talking about making the update, they said new stuff will be in it. So even though the stuff you have done so far is known to those who have played it, there’s no way of knowing if the next choices you make will lead to new or still known stuff! Looking forward to it! And helpful hint: not every choice is based on doors. You can interact with quite a few items in the environment. Just click around and have some fun with it! ;-)
My advice, first of all avoid all spoilers! Second, im so happy for you to do a series on this underrated game, one of my favourites! And third try playing a lot of runs because the amount of endings are massive! Advice for some endings below;) Remember that the doors close when u get in a door, u can maybe step out and go back
I am so excited to see Dawko play this!!! Its always nice to see him diverse from FNaF related content, I love seeing him expand like this as of lately!! Iv never played The Stanly Parables so watching Dawko who also hasn’t played it before makes it feel like playing the game for the first time compared to watching someone who already knows majority of the endings, its really nice
Personally, as much as I love watching today's 8-BitRyan play the Stanley Parable and all the endings, it still felt a bit rushed to find them all and I feel like he lost the original magic and mysticism he had back in 2017 when he first played it. It's SO wonderful to see a new face play it, especially Dawko! It explores so much and with someone who knows how to focus on lore and story and thinks about things really in-depth (even when it's not so), it's a wonderful experience once again. :D Not to say Ryan is bad or anything, but still. I missed this. The original purpose of the Stanley Parable.
This is about to be so random and I just started but I never really comment on your videos because I'm always watching them on the tv with my brother. YOU ARE LITERALLY SO AMAZING! I can't even put into words how happy I get when I see you've uploaded a video. I just felt compelled to say this after hearing the "Whats goin on guys ooo!" and I felt the biggest smile on my face after a long day of studying for finals. I reserve most of your fnaf content to binge with my brother when we are both free but this is free game heehehe, I will thoroughly enjoy!
I remember this game when I was younger and all the youtubers were playing it. Back then it was the game with funny narrator man, but damn being older the game is filled the brim with meta-commentary and real life allusion hahaha
If you go back and play the confusion ending again, once you beat the confusion ending, go through the door on the right and once you do, look through the windows.
I absolutely LOVE this game. For a while back, I had the Adventure Line™️ song as my ringtone. Glad you're loving it so far, Dawko. Can't wait to see more!💕
The amount of layers this game has is deep. In that first ending where you turned off the mind control facility, Stanley had no free will. The Narrator was still telling him exactly what to do till the very end, like how Stanley "walked through the opened door". But it could also go deeper. Stanley has no free will because he is under _your_ control, and you choose rather or not to listen to the Narrator instead of Stanley. And if you really want to go even deeper, when all the paths in this game are presented to you, do you really have free choice, or because the paths were scripted so you couldn't make a choice that the Narrator couldn't predict are you experiencing the illusion of free choice? All three of those questions arise from just that first ending, and there's still more questions left to be asked and answered.
you should definitely make a full play through of this. This is the most clever and meta game i have ever seen and i can't wait to see your reaction to some of the endings! 😍
ohhh~ it's so nice to see someone new playing this game over again! some advice I have is to use the achievements to guide you without spoilers (and to let you know you've gone through extra bits and pieces to it's fullest like the *supposed* broom closet ending :). I believe it be the least intrusive way of looking into the different endings without actually watching or looking them up- if you're worried about that. If anything I just really enjoy the reactions to this game again. What an incomprehensible game that held the test of time, so enjoy it how you see fit, and will definitely want to watch any more due to the fresh eye factor!
This is an interesting part right here so the doors were closed this time. Okay this is mind-boggling. I can see why what I've heard about this game is that it messes with you. Like I'm feeling messed with on a psychological level and on a mental level. What a game!
honestly the stanley parable is such a funny but deep game, its definetly one of my favourite games. the creator of the game understands the player so well and its just amazing the amount of creativity put into it
The apartment turning into the office thing actually describes two different endings: one being the Adventure Line (which you already did), and the other being.. something else.

That's just crazy like wow! So they introduced another character called mariella and she saw that Stanley had died and she took a moment to consider it but then she had other things important to do so she just left him there for dead essentially. I have no words about that ending

Ohhhh I love this game. Please do more :D And yes, the broom closet ending is my favorite! :
I love that you immediately stayed in the broom closet your first go around. I don't think most people would've thought to do that without being told.
I have the feeling that Mr. Hypo is talking to you all the time.
Mr. Hypo have the same calm voice and the same constant description of everything
SO HAPPY YOU ARE PLAYING THIS. there is so much esp with the new content and it's so freaking funny.
ohhh~ it's so nice to see someone new playing this game over again! some advice I have is to use the achievements to guide you without spoilers (and to let you know you've gone through extra bits and pieces to it's fullest like the *supposed* broom closet ending :).
For me dawko seem like first person i watch that actually follow what the narrator said in the first run😂
Please when you are in your office close the door. I think it's not and ending but a fun bit like the Broom Closet
This is an interesting part right here so the doors were closed this time. Okay this is mind-boggling. I can see why what I've heard about this game is that it messes with you. Like I'm feeling messed with on a psychological level and on a mental level. What a game!
Oh my god you’re going into this FRESH?? I would be so into a series of this wow
honestly the stanley parable is such a funny but deep game, its definetly one of my favourite games. the creator of the game understands the player so well and its just amazing the amount of creativity put into it
Stanley was just questioning everything and his existence in one of the endings makes me kinda kin him 💀
Good to see Dawko’s first ending was the best ending in the game!
I want to see the reaction of Dawko when he finds the baby button
4:17 the wrench on the bottom is from TF2
I think that he's buying more time to attempt to defeat nightmare mode
The apartment turning into the office thing actually describes two different endings: one being the Adventure Line (which you already did), and the other being.. something else.
I had a terrible day today, this video cheered me up. Thank you Dawko for uploading today. I would love to see more of this game if you decide to continue playing.
Such a good game, I would love to see you try to find all the endings. After all, the end is never the end is never the end is never the end is never the end..

That's just crazy like wow! So they introduced another character called mariella and she saw that Stanley had died and she took a moment to consider it but then she had other things important to do so she just left him there for dead essentially. I have no words about that ending
I can't believe you haven't played this before! Seeing how much you enjoyed the humor and mystery, I'm surprised you didn't find it sooner. I hope you keep playing, I can't wait!
But at the end, when he does all the voice tells to him. He set him free. That's what the voice wanted. So he is not free. He is still doing what the voice wants.
I only could think that the narrator was Lolbit for some reason and now I can't unsee it. Dawko and Lolbit's amazing adventures
“This story is definitely this way.” “Some people win fair and square” There’s multiple people going through these stories 100 percent
The broom closet ending is the best!
Dawko: I am getting sister location vibes.
Others: eggs benedict = Stanly
Me: Stanly location
part: 9:46
You realise Stanley represents gamers just pushing buttons when they are told to
I'd like to see a series of this!
I herd there was more choices and endings than the original one, I would like to ask for episode 2
Please turn this into a series!! I would love to see your reaction to the absolute mountain of endings there are!
What if actually the narrator is part of the mind control facility, that is telling Stanley what to do
