In this week's vlog you will see the interview I did with Fab Morvan, ex member of Milli Vanilli.
Milli Vanilli was a pop / R&B group consisted of Fab Morvan and Rob Pilatus. Their first single "Girl You Know It's True" came out in June 1988 and that became a massive hit worldwide. Other hits of the band were "Blame It On The Rain", "Girl I'm Gonna Miss You", "Baby Don't Forget My Number" and many others. The band sold millions of records and albums.
But… later the band got involved in one of the largest scandals in the history of pop music when the world found out that Rob & Fab didn’t sing on any of the Milli Vanilli songs…
I had the honour to speak to Fab Morvan and talk to him about Milli Vanilli, the true story about the scandal and the lip-synching, his current career in music and of course his future plans….

The biggest scandal in the music industry but I still love Fab and Rob. It wasn't their fault.

I loved them even more after the scandal, because they turned out to be victims, and the biggest sacrifice was made by Rob ...
You right but since the cinema exists, several famous Caucasian actors are doubled to sing. no one has ever spoken of singing liners. but, they destroyed those young blacks who only wanted to dance. and who fell on a white shark named frank. if they were young whites they would have been told to make a public apology and let them continue their careers. it is pitiful and criminal what they had done to these young people at the time.
It actually is FAR more common than people know. What I don't understand, is how come the idiot Frank Farian didn't just make them sound more like the sound he wanted? They do it with other singers they have all the time. And now days it's even become more apparent that the industry is full of fraud. These two guys Rob and Fab had to pay a price for the greed of two idiots in the industry 1 being Frank Farian and the other much bigger Clive Davis.

I was like 20 when this twisted mess went dn,..always felt so bad for these guys,..music industry💩is evil,..then when Rob just was pushed over the edge was beyond tragic! RIP Rob P.🙏💜😘
Well , i love Fab. But , my heart still hurts because , Rob was so talented and he was soooo young when he passed. Forever Milli Vanilli.

I'm really happy for Fabrice Morvan he has truly found himself and has expressed himself well as a person through his music for many years. He is truly a very talented artist who is secure, well rounded and at peace with himself.

Isn't it funny how these celebrities always mysteriously die in a hotel room on an overdose of drugs or a heart attack or something....if you are one of those who still believe this LIE you need to wake up ASAP!

Fab has a positive attitude despite all the peaks & valleys of their saga. I hold no resentment regarding him or Rob (R.I.P.) - on the contrary, when I listen to Milli Vanilli songs, I enjoy them for the beauty & joy the music is & should be about."Girl, I'm Gonna Miss You" remains my favorite. Great,great classic in my book !!
Amazing that people still love them,and their story became famous. May God give you the best Fab. And for Rob,peace and happiness in heaven.

Great interview! He has such a great and positive spirit. Robs passing was so sad, and people were just so harsh, they were all human after-all and at least they tried to make things right. Love the music, have so many good memories from living in Germany during that time. So happy he continues to do music and share his passion :)

I could listen to Fab talk for ages ! This still blows my mind to this day ! I was in preschool when this band came out and I knew every damn lyric from all their songs still do to this day ! Milli Vanilli was everywhere ! Even the bus driver would crank up the sound whenever they where on the radio ! I had the, Girl you know it's true album on cassette ! Played it to death ! Thankx for the interview Twan (if that's how you spell your name)
I’m happy that Fab is still around and doing what he loves now. I’m sure if he too had gone the way of Rob, then that would have given Frank Frankenstein the opportunity to create his version of what transpired.
CCLXII, I'm not so sure Frank Farian didn't have something to do with Robs death. He got Rob to go back to Germany and within a month he was dead. The news reported that Rob had several injuries to his head when found dead in his hotel room.

It’s disgusting how the actual singers were of the Milli Vanilli songs were made to feel so ashamed of their appearance that they used Rob & Fab as puppets to fill in for them on & off stage. Perfect example of how superficial society is...looks superseded talent. It is sad

I seriously doubt it was the singer that was ashamed of his look. It was that freakin producer, that put this scam together. He is the one and only Bad guy in this story. Frank something , i think is his name. He really fucked them ALL, for his own gain.

They were not good singers back then
because he wanted to use them and blackmail them as well. Watch the video, Fab said it all. They couldn't pay back the $4,000 he gave to them and they was planning to get out after the second album. Farian is really devilish. He did the same blackmail shit to Bonney-M also.
Because Frank Farian is the devil.
Power and control. If they got out of hand, he could pull the plug. They got out of hand and he did pull that plug. Then he killed Robert. He gave him a wad of cash fresh out of rehab. He was dead within 24 hours.

I love these two guys, RIP Rob. I feel like out of most people in show business, these two actually were playing it pretty clean as far as their overall morals and kindness. I do believe their story as well because how else could this have all happened? Certainly no artists would've wanted this in their careers instead of using their real singing voices. This was a bit of 90's drama and trivia for the rest of time to the world, to Fab, he lost a career and a friend, and for Rob, he lost everything - including his life...

They could sing. F. Farian didnt let them and has trown them to the wolfes at the end. They got all the Blame and hate back then.
And farian and all the other Powerfull people in the back never have been held accountable.
There is a Documentary on Paramount + which tells the story of them, fair and from their point of view. Worth to watch.
(most other documentarys have been biased and pro farian)
Fabrice still sings and performs regularly. I have Videos of some of his performances on my Channel.
They have been used and exploited. They never deserved the hate & backlash back then.

The Actors who portray Rob and Fab are amazing, and Fab even performed with them at an Award show this month. (Video of that is on my channel) Its bound do go international eventually. I havent found any english trailers, but here are some german ones :) .
