I've just completed the demo and for me it's better than Immortals: Fenyx Rising, because it isn't so vertical. Sadly my GTX 1080 (paired with i5-12600KF and 16 GB of DDR4 4000 MHZ CL18) isn't powerful enough for high quality settings in 1920×1200, I had to lower them to medium.

4 Hours in and this game is a mixed bag for me. Graphics, scenery are nice as are the water effects and sound design. Unfortunately, the combat falls apart with the typical bad jank, and by that i mean, getting stuck in the geometry when in combat, inputs not registering when fighting enemies, the enemies all look the same, hitboxes can be inaccurate with enemies reach being frustrating as they seem to be programmed to suck you into their range like a vacuum, especially when trying to evade, I like to call this ' artificia ldifficulty ', also, prepare to get stunlocked and juggled by mobs too. I really tried to learn and adapt to the combat but got triggered way to many times. Also the double jump does not work when running which infuriating is by design, resulting in many platforming deaths. The skill tree is very limited for the size of the game, I almost maxed it out just 20 percent into the game, and the skills are a bit shit. The enviroment and art style are top notch though so thats something positive. I just wished the combat and movement was tighter and more enjoyable........5/10 for me.

It looks like a ripoff of Immortals Fenyx Rising. Seems like the Ubisoft AC verbiage…collecting a steele. The menu is straight out of IFR, as is the crystal collection and the bottom left menu D-pad for items. The graphics even look similar.
I loved playing IFR, and was really hoping for a sequel, so it sucked to hear it got cancelled. This doesn’t look to fill that void.

@@gambino48 Yeah I had commented that when I first started watching the video. This really is a Fenyx Rising clone in nearly every way, I didn't realize how bad it was until I saw the menus like you said and the armor/shards etc. I'm surprised they're not getting sued for this lol
