ISIS Fighters Are Escaping Prison | System Error

  • In January 2022, scores of suspected Islamic State militants escaped a jail in northeastern Syria during a sophisticated breakout. It was the group’s boldest attack in the region since the end of their self-declared caliphate.
This is how ISIS is using prisons to prepare its comeback, and how governments - who spent billions on the fight against ISIS - are turning a blind eye.

The white kid? It's interesting that the US decided that the white kid is allowed to be rehabilitated but not so when kids from other families have also gone against their will when they weren't white.

9 dead and wounded as a preliminary result of the regime's militia and the Hizbullah militia in the Homs desert.
A number of elements of the regime's militia and the Hizbullah militia were killed and wounded on Saturday, as a result of a large-scale attack carried out by ISIS in the desert of Homs in central Syria.
Special sources reported that ISIS launched a large-scale attack on three points of the regime's militia and the Lebanese Hizbullah militia in the Eastern desert of Homs, causing 9 deaths and injuries, and the seizure of military vehicles and ammunition by ISIS.
And private sources were quoted as saying that "the attacks took place at around two o'clock in the morning by targeting elements of the Fourth Division militia checkpoint in Khirbet Al-Tiyas, near the T-4 airport."
He explained that the attack coincided with targeting the "Jahar point of the Lebanese Hizbullah militia and the Iranian Revolutionary Guards militia, about 15 km West of Palmyra, and the site of Sharifa village, which is under the control of the militia, 25 km East of Homs.
According to the source, ISIS managed to seize two military vehicles equipped with 23 mm machine guns, ammunition boxes and light machine guns, pointing to the inability of the Syrian regime and the Russian forces to support the forces on the ground for fear of ambushes spread by ISIS in the desert.

Because the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Kurdistan Workers Party don't have the guts to do what should be done. They have this idea that ISIS fighters can be rehabilitated.
Although under the 4th Geneva convention, ISIS fighters forfeited their right to be considered POWs. I'd say that means that a summary execution would be legal. It would probably also be legal to take out the wives of the militants that were captured as well considering that they had a hand in some of their husband's crimes.

My cousin was a bright girl, set to start her graduate program at Stanford in 2007. Around that time my mother introduced her to a seemingly nice man, who despite his sometimes sexist remarks, she fell in love with. In about early 2009 they disappeared to Afghanistan "To help Victims", by that time we already knew he was an ISIS supporter. She still sent letters to us and had 2 kids while with him in Afghanistan. By 2015 her parents died, so the only direct family she would send letters to were me and my mother, she wanted to come back home to see her parents, but by that time her husband wouldn't let her. Her letters throughout the whole time she was in Afghanistan always talked good about her husband.
Despite that, in 2017 without notice we were contacted by Homeland Security, she was attempting to seek asylum in the US and we were the ones who needed to confirm it was her. She was not the same smart beautiful woman, who had left to an exotic country to live a good life with her 2 kids and a nice man. The physical scars she had on her back and face were clear and evident. She couldn't walk without a cane and couldn't see out of one eye, despite only being 33 years old. However, what made her flee her husband was when he killed both their children because they were not men.
She was one of the few lucky women who had a refugee that would accept her. I hope these men and men like my cousins husband stay in jail. We are able to identify who are prominent figures in groups like ISIS, and who are extremist offenders. We can rehabilitate the children, but these men do not deserve the time it takes to rehabilitate them. Same goes for some of the women who reinforce specific behaviors.

He beat them to death because they were women, and that's generally how women are treated in an ISIS-run regime.
