i love doing these, i get mine from aliexpress and use portion cups or jello shot cups with lids
All the motion from the camera actually got me dizzy enough to were I have a head ache. It's a good video but please for the love of god, get some one who's better at holding the camera

I use Dixie 3oz. Bath cups for the diamonds. To save time, I just use my felt tip to write numbers and symbols on the cup. I store them back in their box to use for other projects, which saves storage space.
I like the pen a lot more. I have more control with the pen as I have arthritis in my hands. No one ever told me Painting with Diamonds would be so addicting!!! I am waiting on 4 kits to come in the mail...

being a known beaded tapestry artist i have invested in magnifier goggles and i use a strap head strap LED light that ive connected to them by Coast lights love it because my delica beads are thousands and thousands and extremely tiny using this you'll all thank me
did someone else felt the containers should be clear?

maybe there wasnt enough clear containers at the store
It was fun watching you open your bag of goodies. I just literally started my first diamond painting today and i knew within the first 10 seconds that i was hooked.

I find it alot easier to put the design or number that you will be looking for on the canvas....on top of the containers...then you dont have to keep referring to the sheet as to what design goes w/what number.... Its just something I do cause its so quick to get my drills ready for doing my diamond painting....Just a suggestion.... This painting is going to be beautiful !!!!!
first row is crooked, which means every row after it will be crooked as well. Use a thin metal straightedge to keep the first row, and the rows that come after it, straight
I love the containers but why not buy a size that would fit ALL the diamonds in them? Also I would not want to spill while writing so I would definitely write before labeling. Label on the top portion only (actually, not the side)
I love unboxings you get new ideas to order again. And make them. Only my husband complains when i order a pile but i ordered 15 orso. 5 are for my therapist. She does shamballa. So i ordered them and make them in a quit a speed. I want them before summer.
You sound great and nice video but I found it annoying to try hearing you over the music, could have done without that. It's also just generic and repetitive so doesn't really benefit the video. Just my opinion. ☺️

I've done a small one and wasn't happy with the way it looked after it was finished, I want to try a larger one to if it comes out better. Love how easy they are to do.
The smaller ones tend to look "pixelated." The bigger ones look much smoother.
I wish I could show you pictures of how mine came… I did not get mine from Amazon but through, I guess, a “second party” in China and it came in a plastic envelope, the box was pretty crushed up and the canvas was folded four times so I have large creases in it. A couple of the bags of diamonds were ripped and empty but I did get an extra little foam gripper for the pen sort of thrown into the box. The instructions were kind of all bunched up, also. I guess it might’ve been purchased and then re-sold to me but I got it directly from an advertisement that I saw on Facebook… However…so far I love using it and it’s coming out as promised.
I would add one step to the sorting into containers - put a small piece of tape with the symbol on the cover. It'll be easier to see because you don't have to turn the containers to see what's on the sides.
I also can't believe how rude a couple of these comments are! I'm not saying you don't have valid complaints (about the camera work and music) but there are better ways to say it.
I never heard about painting with diamonds! I’m such a fan of it now. Maybe I’ll have to incorporate it into some of my outfits

You should also put magnets on the bottom of each little container for the diamonds so they stick to the metal tray.

I just received my 1st diamond painting.. it was through Amazon.. mine didn't come in a box.. it also did not come with tweezers or directions..I'm glad I watch TH-cam or it would have been a total waste if money
word of advise if you have alot of colors the dollar tree sells from Sterilizer great containers round and square 10 for a dollar and i use a labeling machine easier and if you have smaller amount Harbor Frieight has 20 % off one storage box that has 24 boxes that are great too and you get a free gift you can order from online call them or call you store check out their website
and these containers are clear.

I would go nuts using tweezers instead of the drill tool
I have to give you credit I could not do that with tweezers it would make me go nuts I prefer using the drill

I did one of these from Wish not as big but if want to use a small container like she did, mark it with the correct number, symbol or letter since they only give you so much for that color, unless you order more from them. She ended up marking the wrong j with the J so one of the colors has less in it then the other, so she will have to go back and take all of those off and redo it which is a pain. This size of 5D diamond would take at least a month to do, I did one with the kitten looking into the water seeing itself as a tiger, it took me that long to get it done while working.
She really did use the wrong J (3810) on the j (3852) stones she was filling in.
Waiting for my first kit to come in the mail. I've never even seen one in person actually! Thanks for showing me how to work it, I hope I can do it right. When you shake the beads into the tray, do they fall the right way up? I mean, is there a top and a bottom or do you just play sit on the adhesive either way?
C H You shake the tray gently side to side. There is a flat side that you want on the bottom. Most of the beads end up with the flat side down after shaking.
I prefere the diamonds from Ali Express. The dots are in a good container.
Never done it before, so I watched a video, because it looked interesting... and yeah, it's more interesting than before :D
The tip with the containers and labeling those is great! Is it possible, to lay down a ruler or smth, so the first row will be even? or will it still be a little bit uneven?

There prices are similar to diamond art club but the shipping takes way longer and it seems like the glue is double sided adhesive. What are the pros of going with paint with diamonds over diamond art club. The Hannah Lynn painting I wanted from them is actually more expensive then the one I got from diamond art club.

What does the other end of the pen do, please? Also on a big print where is best to store it when itd not in use as my only table is a dining one that has to be used and as small I wouldn't be able to push the picture to the side whilst we are..any ideas are welcome.

I am very interested in trying these. Is there a way to know if, when buying, if it’s the whole picture you are doing, including the background, or if it is just some of the details?
Michelle D in the description it should say full drill (meaning the entire picture is made with the stones) or half drill (certain portions of the picture is made with the stones
The music is very distracting. Also the colored containers wouldn’t work well and the labels for the containers should be put on their tops so you can see them.

Thank you for posting this informative vid. Unfortunately, from about 3:00 onwards I couldn't hear what you were saying - the microphone seemed to fall off. Also please remove or reduce the music level, very hard to hear you when the background music is so loud relative to your vocal track.

how about taping it with clear tap all over the art? My brother did that with his puzzle and it work out fine, you could try it.
i use GLOSSY modge podge all over mine and works wonderful

Just a tip for future videos... We can do without the annoying music, hard to hear you sometimes. Also there is a lot of movement, maybe get a tripod and not let another person follow your every movement

That art is by an artist named Leonid Afremov, how are you able to use his work and sell it for your profit? I’m just not sure how that works
Marissa easy, art theives don't give two shits about the artist the are stealing from.
I don't know too much but I do know that their is an entire section dedicated to his work and with how well the whole thing is produced (website, product, etc.) I would assume to believe that their is credit given and that they may have gotten the OK to use his art. I just checked their website and it said that with a partner that helps them with copyright helps them get the authorization to use all designs they receive. Again since there's a whole section dedicated to his their was probably a special deal that allowed them to use his work. If you would like to know more about how they get the rights to all their designs they are willing to talk to you themselves. The email you can use to contact them is at the bottom of their FAQs page. And it's not that long to look for.

I would hope that it was worked out beforehand, and it probably was, i was just looking for clarification before purchasing as I have seen people steal others art and sell if for their own profit before. It happens all the time on websites like amazon, eBay, and wish.

The camera work on this is horrific. I had to stop watching as I felt sick with all the unnecessary movement. Also, the music adds nothing - in fact it just detracts from your audio, sadly...
