Hercule is a lot of things but he is a really good man and a brave one if push comes to show the way he stood up to baby like that regardless of how big he was he's someone to respect as a person.
to be fair, Hercule did throw android 16 to Gohan. He indirectly helped Gohan with achieving SS2. He was just an ahole who claimed he was the one who defeated Cell and honestly he was smart to do that because he was set for life.
@@salvos4154plus if he didn't do that their was a chance that the whole world would have fall out about the dragon balls since most of them have died more then once and came back
This and that small world tournament bit before the Super 17 arc were some of the realest moments in all of DB. GT wasn’t perfect, but the things it did right it knocked out of the park.
People are always willing to call out the faults of GT, to which sure there are many. I rarely see people give praise to the many things GT got right, and I hope that people start recognize that the show did really hit its stride with Baby and finish strong.
It doesn't matter to me how weakling Mr Satan shown in the show but deep inside he's bravest human and becoming friend with buu was definitely not an easy thing which he done. He's character is remarkable!
Satanic panic. At the time of airing there would have been big push back if a show (sorta) made for children had a character named Mr Satan. Now the States are a lot more relaxed but at the time it would of been a big no no.

Hercules in the Cell arc : goofball
Hercules in the Buu arc and beyond : actual hero

I love the idea of one goofball giving respect to another goofball.
"without fear"
Now you know damn well Hercule was pissing himself.
He wasn't this time

Goku knew he had to step in before Baby Vegeta received a Dynamite Kick.
Z😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂tyuttuutuio😅🙄
It would have destroyed Vegeta’s body, and Goku didn’t want that.
Putting respect on his name, god damn what a journey. Ya love to see it
Hercule saved the world countless times.

Didn't he do that to Majin Buu too? Come on
Why does dragon ball English dub they randomly call him hercule and Mr satan?

because american tv didn’t want to have a character offending religious dorks who get offend by things like an anime character named satan
You can correlate the use of Hercule instead of Mr. Satan to periods of time where bible thumper parents where specially whinny to the studio.
I get called all the time by my two first names at different times based on who it is and what their moods are.
Back in the day when I had these episodes on VHS, they always called him Mr. Satan on the home releases and Hercule on TV.
