The unseen war behind all wars is won as the sower of deceit is thrown from heaven. A desperate and defeated Enemy turns his attention to the people of God.

@@jeremiahdixon8531 Same here! In 2020 I watched a YT video of Jeff Durbin (Apologia Studios) discussing “Bill Gates and The Mark of The Beast”....he talks about the same things Matt discusses about what the book is really about. He recommends Dr. Kenneth Gentry and the books “The Beast of Tribulation” and “The Great Tribulation”? Anyway, it was the first time my eyes were opened to this explanation of Revelation and it made SO MUCH sense! I was like, I wonder what Matt Chandler would teach on this and praying for him to preach on this one day. Well here we go and it’s awesome that he takes a similar position as Jeff Durbin, Dr. Gentry. Anyway it’s really amazing! I’m sharing with everyone! ❤️🙏🏼

We all know the story of Lazarus and how Jesus brings him back to life, we also have Jesus telling his disciples that the Father is in him and he is in the Father or the exceedingly fierce man in Gadarene that Jesus heals. In all these moments Jesus is trying to tell us thru word or work that everybody has a spirit and without the spirit that body cannot function. Now whether someone is a believer in God or not, every spirit knows God exists. Even though the flesh may be deceived the spirit is always aware that God is real. We are in a spiritual battle to wake up those who are asleep and bring them to the knowledge.
    God Bless

I am a Christian. I agree that sin is sin to God. Jesus is the only way. There is no other way. I believe in the holy trinity. I have experienced God. I’ve experienced Jesus. With that being said, I have always struggled with understanding sin. I’ve been taught that the Bible is perfect. It is God talking to us. Not even a period should be taken out. I believe this. What has always plagued me is this. King David sinned. He was loved by God because he love God and was a man after His own heart. Culturally concubines we accepted. There are scriptures throughout the Bible and in teachings from churches in different cultures, where we are instructed to stay away from sin by doing this or that. Ultimately the point is to love our God first and foremost. That Jesus died for us. When I ask anyone why we don’t avoid all sin that is in the Bible, because the bible is all true and we can’t pick and choose what to believe from it. I can never get an answer. I think that culturally what it looks like to be Christian always changes because it feels like cultures change every decade. My plan is to love our God with all my heart. Read the Bible. Pray. Talk to other christians. And lean on the Holy Spirit to guide me. I welcome others thoughts on this. It may be something I struggle with until He calls me up. I am so thankful to the village church. It’s played a vital role in my acceptance of Christ as my savior and king.

David was in sin when he took the concubines. Look at what God commander of kings in Deuteronomy 17:14-17
Even though culture said it was okay, God did not. I hope that helps man.

Actually the Bible tell a whole story that shows us the effects of having concubines on David, and implicitly shows us that God hates polygamy. The grandfather of Bathsheba -Ahithophel- was a counselor to David, but after of David´s sin with Uriah, he deserted David and started supporting Absalom, encourage him to rebel against his father. Absalom's rebellion was one of the lowest moments of David, and ended with Absalom being killed. All of this because of his polygamy.
