I normally make a Prime Rib for Christmas. In fact, I just ordered mine yesterday, got onto TH-cam, and there was your video on my feed. Last year, I did my Prime Rib on my Woodwind Pro, but had to get a Ninja Woodfire Grill XL because I moved to a smaller place. I am so looking forward to trying your recipe! But I will have to try with some of my Camp Chef pellets as that is what I have currently. I’ll report back how mine turned out! I hope I win because I really want to try those pecan pellets. So excited to do the Prime Rib on the Ninja!
I used these pellets before. Bought the 20lb box. I compared them to Lumber Jack Hickory pellets on two separate brisket cook and the Smoking Pecan produced more smoke, a beaufitful smoke ring with more pronounced smoke taste than the Lumber Jack pellets. Cooked on a Zgrill 700. Great pellets.
Thank you for this review of the 🥷🪵🔥 Grill & Pecan pellets you sold me on both, This Christmas🎄 dinner I’m going with a good old TBONE 🥩 & Mash 🥔 Happy Holidays
This Christmas I am responsible for smoking bacon, deviled eggs, and a Berkshire ham for our holiday brunch and doing it all on my new Ninja Woodfire Grill!
Very nice recipe , i enjoyed many of your videos ,especially about the Ninja Woodfire grill.Cant wait for it to reach europe so that i can buy it.Unfortunately cant get it here yet but i have had the Ninja Foodi for almost a year and i have grilled many meats with great success.Excellent video.
@@DadGotThisI think I can find the basic one or the xl but not the pro connect. And well it's an American product so there is always a delay to the European market, especially at Greece. I tried to order it for America through your affiliate link but the taxes are killing me.
I noticed on my XL that their Temperature Probes read 14 degrees below my Thermopen TempSpike. On the flip side, the Ambient temperature inside the Grill is running 20 degrees hotter that what shows on my TempSpike (Ambient running 270 actual when I've set the Smoker for a 250 degree temperature). Perhaps this is why many people are experiencing over-cooked results. Conclusion: don't trust the Ninja settings and temp probe readings - get yourself a ThermoPen or InkBird Wireless Thermometer and adjust settings and times accordingly. Raybo
Love your videos, I'm going to buy one of these soon. I have a question, how many times during the cook was it necessary to refill the pellet hopper? Thanks
@@DadGotThis I'm looking forward my new wood fire pro xl when it arrives next week :). I'm watching all your great videos right now and I'm having a lot of fun and they're giving me great barbecue ideas. i'm looking forward to cooking a lot of things. A suggestion for German grilling would be sausages. Either traditional or what I like to eat are homemade chilli cheese sausages and then in the smoker. as soon as the new grill arrives, I will try them out. keep up the good work with your relaxed way, you bring a lot of joy while watching.
Yes you could totally do it in the oven, plus you would get a easier and better crust due to being able to kick it up to 700 degrees. The App is the ninja app for the pro connect since it is a "smart" appliance. I plan on doing more in the oven for sure!!!

I think it will come out great! Just make sure you watch the temp and time and shoot lower and expect it to cook faster than expected!
Excellent Video. Ordered a 20 pound box just now. Can't wait to try these Pellets.
20 lbs bag with fee shipping at 10% off. no brainer.

Thank you very much! I wonder what the hold up is getting the woodfire there? Any reason given?

Guess I’m going to have to add that test to the list now!
You are making me go broke, I am a fan and ordered many things you have suggested. All I need now is the NEW Meater coming out next year.

If I rember correctly it was only 2, maybe 3 max.
Love your Video. Love from Germany
Thanks so much! Any German foods I need to do on the channel?

Thanks!
Can you use this same recipe in the ninja oven?
What app is that on your phone?
And can you do more videos of the ninja oven please !!

For some reason I hate the smell of pecan. Does it have a pecan smell or flavor? Or something more indescribable that’s better?
I would not say it is strong but yes it does smell and have a pecan taste. Honestly just about any pellet works great in the ninja.
