Home Free has sung this on their live performances on and off for more than ten years. It's always been a showcase for Tim and a fan favorite. Tim has a 5 octave range and doesn't always sing the bass part. When Tim sings lead, Chance takes over the bass harmony line. In this latest version, Chance gets to sing a verse. I'm glad they did. Great reaction.

Tim has blown a few speakers at their concerts with this song 😂
They went through a member change in June. Austin left to stay home and start a family Adam Bastien has taken his place and the just released his first video with the group called Something To Talk About ( Bonnie Raitt )

I'm so glad they left the funny bit they have done on stage for so long in this version. Thanks for the Home Free reactions

Tim is 43 years old (all of them are around 40) and went grey (or at least allowed it to show) and cut it 3 or 4 years ago, so it's not all that new.
And you didn't know that he has a 5 octave range and can sing high tenor. In fact, during an interview the reporter asked them if they ever switched up and Tim said, yes, all the time. Rob then clarified: don't be fooled by how low he ususally sounds, he has one of the highest voices in the group. Austin then clarified that when he (Austin) sings lead, especially in a higher set song, and they need somebody above him Rob switches to baritone, Chance (the second lead in this one who has a 4 octave range) does the bass and Tim the high harmonies. Go figure.
It's always fun to watch people be surprised by Tim, or any of the other guys. All of them have quite the ranges in fact and don't stick to their assigned roles all the time.
They performed this song for years (at least since 2013) and live Tim goes a lot lower with this (and a few other songs). He broke some speakers with those.... In studio recordings they prefer a balanced arrangement (proper chords and such) and leave the really mind-blowing, bone-rattling notes for live concerts.
    Thanks for the reaction.

The 2nd soloist is Adam Chance, a bass with 4 octave range. Tim has a 5 octave range. Tim colored his hair for years, then during covid, he went natural and cut his hair. All the current lineup are from 40 to 43 (Tim). Austin, who left in June, is 38. They are all also very tall - avg 6’2”.

If you are familiar with the Anchorman film, you might enjoy the music video that goes with HomeFree's cover of "Working for a Living".
I'd do one more before "Mayday", and "Working for a Living" has their names.

That was such a great remake of this song! Nice to hear Chance singing some of the lines. Always loved Tim's crazy low notes along with his fabulous highs. Also love Adam's cool percussion sounds in this version too.
There are some older live versions of this song that are very funny.
